watch all of the videos before you talk, one is clearly geese while the other 2 hold some merit to ufos or military planes with ir markers

Bit presumptous, aren't you?

i watched all the video's. If Zorgon posts it, i fully digest it. Always.

My first problem is i don't see geese as giving off IR light. Beyond that, still oesn't appear to be geese to me.

Really liked the second vid much more than the other two. Looks military due to the precise nature of the vee. Other than that... beats me.

Great find zorgon! I had heard Johnny talking about the 3rd Gen NVG's, freaking sweet!

(Typing quick note) Dear Santa, I would really like some NVG,s for Christmas!!!

(Santa return note) "...What, to see my reindeer flying in formation at night?!"

Nannies ... I believe these are geese and normal aircraft seen through and infared camera.

This looks just like geese to me. You can see some break away. Geese.

What is referred to as third generation night vision uses "starlight" technology, original developed by the military (of course). The principle is the amplification of any light. Infrared as well as visible light is amplified. A dim light source, whatever it is, is made bright. It doesn't matter if it is reflected light or not.

NVG's do need some light and are often used in conjunction with an IR "flashlight" to provide illumination.

I think that this thread and THIS thread are tied to together, if I am not mistaken. Seems to be from the same area, Fremont CA, and the technique seems the same as well. Handicam with nightvision through a handheld IR scope or monocular of some type.

Bah! RG beat me to it - worthless post, ignore at will...

So, Phage, what is your opinion of the videos? Some sort of aircraft - terrestrial or otherwise?

These lights don't look like a flying bird formation to me, not the way they stay locked into formation during the turns.

Also, when does a formation of flying birds make turns like that? I've only ever seen formations of birds fly in straight lines.

wow. amazing video OP! the 3rd video is pretty great when the fleet breaks up.
in the second video the triangle craft is moving across the skyline pretty fast.

i guess i could see the first two to be military black projects, but the third vid of the fleet doesn't seem terrestrial. just my 1 penny.
thanks for the post. very interesting.

Yea.

Perhaps this thread should be locked and all replies should be to the original thread ( for clarity)

that being said, i have a hard time with the second vid of the asteroid game ship. it looks very intelligent the way it loops through the night sky and it very rigid in structure.

wicked vids

starred and flagged and subscribed ( dede's thread)

First two videos were really nice!

Third one is most likely birds. Even in night, they catch some light if they have white feathers and a city or moon as light source. Close enough they can be seen without night vision or binoculars.

First impressions:

First video could be a satellite formation. The "sample" satellite seems to be moving very slowly, indicating a high orbit. NV would make a very dim satellite visible. But I think it's birds.

Second video could be birds but seems more like aircraft in formation. I like the idea of IR markers. Similar to this:

The covert and NVG Friendly capability can be installed on the aircraft in one dual mode package. F-16 and Jaguar are two examples of dual mode covert IR and NVG Friendly optical filter modification in one aircraft package. Dual mode, Covert and NVG Friendly EZELED visible lighting is also readily available in a dual mode installation. The combined EZELED LED and IR diode product is extremely reliable and easy to install; minimal aircraft wiring changes are required.

Third video really looks like birds to me.

I don't see any turns in any of the videos.

While these videos look impressive at first glance, I have to wonder how common such a strange-looking object has to be to capture one twice in the same area? There are at least two videos here showing a similar object in almost exactly the same section of sky. Using a camera system with a very narrow field as this one limits the chance of a random capture to virtually zero, yet here are two almost identical apparitions recorded at different dates. Either the cameraman is lucky beyond any calculable possibility, or these objects are very common indeed. As an astronomer, I don't favour either explanation really.

Has anyone ever stoped to think that if their is or was something from another world or star system flying around in our skys, the Military would quite naturally start patroling the skys! Just a thought.
Very nice footage!!!

Hi all - I think this form of video technology could reveal a lot of interesting activity in the sky that would normally go unseen but equally due to the visual nature of the imagery even mundane everyday things such as a flock of birds flying in formation can take on a very unworldly appearance, much as people filmed with this type of camera can look like demons, zombies whatever...

My feeling is that the first and third videos are birds in formation, the second one is far too precise for that so I would suspect this to be a piloted craft, be it by GI Joe or Capt Grey. One thing that struck me about the second vid was the bright flashing triangular object was filmed momentarily but not zoomed in on and the barely visible triangle was picked out and zoomed in to, curious..

I think this has the potential to be pretty funky though and I look forward to further footage - thank you Zorgon

It looks nothing like geese to me.. I rarely see geese flying in a formation of only 5. And, if i do see geese flying, there is always some "sway" and movement in the formation, especially when turning. These stay pretty well locked on formation.

I am not saying that the objects in the videos are geese, but these birds do actually fly in different formations. Also a small number of geese can make a formation. This video is a good excample of both small and big formations:

+1

Debunked. Move along people, nothing more to see here.

Good calls. I wish I had the eye you had for videos. Is there a video you've seen yet that you think qualifies as an unknown?

Geese underbellies are white and it looks like they are flying over a city the flapping of the wings would constant change the contrast of the light reflecting on there underbellies giving off a constant light. but the other 2 still look like ufo or military ir markers considering stable flight path and lights dont move except for in one which moves slightly
