if those things happened evolution WOULD be wrong

and microevolution is evolution if micro happens so does macro, one is just a build up of the other

think of it like bricks, you start puting one brick next to another then another on top(small changes) and after a while you end up with a huge brick structure it could be a house a hospital a factory a bomb shelter(might ned some reinforcing though) an outside toilet a maze a wall

birds are still technically dinosaurs they are reffered to as avarian reptiles, its still essentially a reptile giving birth to a reptile

macro evolution is just when the micro changes build to a sufficient point you say ok this is a new species

there are three intrinisc laws to life

everything dies

organisms unsuited to thier enviroment are more likley to die

life reproduces with variance (you dont look exactly like your mom or dad or an exact inbetween you have variance)

if you have these 3 laws(which we do) then you have evolution


let me ask you a question you say micro evolution happens minor changes at genetic levels, as genetic changes can lead to changes in body shape function and all kinds of crazy fun things

what stops lots and lots of small changes adding up to be big ones?

god is not an "omnipotent" being or "creator" in the sense that the church has given him, hos is neither she or he, god is the totality of everything in this universe, god is no being god IS everything and nothing can exist without the life energy that god put into everything at beyond the molecular level, i am not "debunking" evoloution, science is just the 'how' and not the 'why' as to how everything exists

The missing perspective concerning evolution is that all the "higher' life-forms are really environmental constructs for microbials. Many millions of years ago disparate microscopic cellular colonies began organizing themselves into cooperative colonies for their mutual benefit. Not on any kind of shaky ground, actually. Speciation has been observed both in the lab and in nature. In the lab fruit flies exposed to different food stuffs, after time, became two different species which could no longer breed (the general definition of species). In nature, since the London Underground opened (in the 1800s), a new species of mosquito was discovered that lived only in the underground system, and no-where else.

Those are cold, hard facts. And unfortunately, for your argument at least, the only crisis in the theory of evolution is the incessant, baseless attacks upon its sound methodology and research by people who really don't have a clue about biology.

The theory of evolution has yet to be demonstrated incorrect by any evidence discovered since it was laid down. And that's been over 150 years of accelerating scientific discoveries, including (as I mentioned) DNA. It's about as solid as a scientific theory gets.

Not one single contradicting hypothesis has even made it to the theory stage, let alone to the level of evidential support the theory of evolution has.

Oh, and Michael Denton wrote that book in 1985, and has since written a second book ("Nature's Destiny") that argues for evolution. He no longer associates with the Discovery Institute. If that's the best you can do, well, if I were you I'd give up now, and spare yourself the headache
