Thanks , I'll address one point real quick....and then go back and read your response...thanks!

OT don't know the fellow....I'd say the TITLE may be a bit of MARKETING....you know spark a little interest...seems to have worked, too.

Hey while I'm reading your post, take a look at that Stannard nuclear dudes video and let me know what you think, if you have time...

So you basically agree everyone keeps researching evolution because they have nothing better to go by with.

Actually everyone keeps researching evolution because that's what science does. Science sets out to find the answers with an open mind. Where as Christianity reads an ancient book for their answers and then closes their mind to new opportunities for discovery.

but all the evdience points toward it, its mechanism have been observed countless time

its not that theres nothing better to go on, anything better would have to explain all the evidence

I'm not even going to bother reading any more of this thread. Next time you start a thread like this, do us the favour and use the buttons on your keyboard to express what it is you are trying to say. Give us an outline at lease. I'm not going to waste my time watching a 9 part series by Hovind
because you can't be bothered to understand and then relay the basic premis to us.

Next, you may want to discover what the theory of evolution actually is before you decide that it is false. Hovind never bothered to go through with this step, hence his complete misunderstanding of the whole topic. If only he would have put the hours he spent making those awesome posters of his into reading a book, he may not be sitting in jail right now feeling like an idiot.

We are all glad that an open minded Christian has joined the topic, I'm sure.

Dr. Kent Hovid is the guy who the original poster said "Officially Debunked Evolution". With his track record on the line, he's not a very credible individual.

Both evolution and creationism are lacking in evidence. Creationism has none. Evolution has a handful of evidence. This is the reason why Evolution has taken precedence over creationism. The people want proof.

Saying that evolution was debunked however is simply a false statement, much less debunked by Dr. Kent Hovid.

I will never argue that modern science has many limits, including those of carbon dating bones and fossils.

I will however argue that the supposed mid-stage evolutionary bones are quite impressive.

NEVER post that link again OT as evidence for anything other then how some christians are so dishonest they will happily lie and admit to it becasue its for jesus

The scientific aspects of creation are important, but are secondary in importance to the proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
iof it doesnt fit the bible we will ignore or lie about it

No apparent, perceived, or claimed interpretation of evidence in any field, including history and chronology, can be valid if it contradicts the Scriptural record.
if it doesnt fit the bible it didnt happen or we will lie and misrepresent it to fit our beliefs

www.answersingenesis.org...

why do you think anyone who posts thier 'evidence' gets laughed a ripped apart and told to go find a real source

its like quoting bin laden as an honest and accurate representation of america and its people

Found this work on complexity...heavy math for sure...

Excerpts below...link at bottom from

"1.10 Complexity of the Physical World
Now let's turn to the physical universe! Does it have finite or infinite complexity?
The conventional view on this held by high-energy physicists is that there is a TOE, a theory of everything, a finite set of laws of nature that we may someday know, which has only finite complexity.

So that part is optimistic!

But unfortunately in quantum mechanics there's randomness, God plays dice, and to know the results of all God's coin tosses, infinitely many coin tosses, necessitates a theory of infinite complexity, which simply records the result of each toss!

So the conventional view currently held by physicists is that because of randomness in quantum mechanics the world has infinite complexity.

Could the conventional view be wrong? Might it nevertheless be the case that the universe only has finite complexity? Some extremely interesting thoughts on this can be found in

Wolfram, A New Kind of Science, 2002.
According to Wolfram, there is no real randomness. There is only pseudo-randomness, like the randomness produced by random-number generators, which are actually deterministic sequences of numbers governed by mathematical laws, since computers use algorithms to generate pseudo-random numbers, they don't use quantum mechanics!

According to Wolfram, our universe is actually a deterministic universe that's governed by deterministic physical laws!

So the physical universe, the world, has finite complexity. According to Wolfram, everything happens for a reason, just as Leibniz thought!

These two supremely intelligent men are rationalists. They want to understand everything! They don't believe in ultimate mysteries! They don't think anything is incomprehensible! They believe in the power of the human mind to comprehend everything!

On the other hand, we have seen that because it has infinite complexity, the universe of mathematical ideas CANNOT be comprehended in its entirety. "

Yoda411, That last post was the DEEP one, here's OT's SIMPLE one...

I was conversing with an engineer a few thread back...the guy makes stuff....he engineers things...

And I said to him...pls excuse the sarcasm
and think through my main point....this us my biggest struggle in ignoring a deity...

= = = = = =

Back at "the University" where you got an 'engineering' degree? You guys ever make anything?

How bout a lawn-mover or something?

OT's got a new LawnBoy...got a grass catcher, power wheels and a Briggs and Stranton hummer of an engine!

Occams Razor asks, how'd that there Lawnboy come into existence? Good question 'OR' Well given enough time.........and chance.......and some more time........and chance......those wheels could wind up bolted to that little chassis you know.......and then after awhile that fuel injection system.....could find its way next to the handle bars.....and the that fancy grass catcher could just plop on the back end....AND WALLA!

You got your self a bad ass Lawnboy....oh yeah the gas....just oozed in the little cute tank....crank that baby and you too can cut your lawn...

No....as an engineer....you know you 'engineered it....manufacured it....in simple terms....PUT THE FREAKIN' THING TOGETHER!!!

Oh how more complex (and Valuable) you are my friend that my bad ass lawnboy!!!

Complexity doesn't just happen...someONE had to ENGINEER IT, right?

OT

Complexity happens in nature all of the time. By your argument it is very hard to believe a creature was smart enough to build the complexity of modern nature down to the molecular level.

Complexity happens by nature all of the time. Reproduction was supposedly a sin that Adam and Eve broke, a non-creation of God. Yet, everyday somebody is creating complexity through sexual reproduction (which is most definitely an act of nature).

Good point about the reproduction thing....

Still troubled that Time and Chance can do all this...

Don't want to get off topic but here's one that helps me...

Romans 1:20 (New International Version)
20For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
