Just wanted you to know that sometimes I actually do see some similarities in our beliefs ...we really dont differ TOO much on our beliefs ..

How do you know your "god" is angry? Is your God a vindictive being that punishes man? It sounds like your god is devilish. How interesting.

I really hate to disappoint you here...but I have been in many situations where death was at my door (some of them I wanted to go ) ...and I was protected ...by GOD >..
If you can explain to me why I am still here..I would love to hear it ......

Some advice: conversion- not really your thing. Maybe you should go back to God and ask how this whole thing works, kind of not getting the feeling he wants you representing him, or anyone else who is arrogant enough to think they can speak for him or his “anger”.

Actually, you'd be surprised at what the Bible can do. It really does give you a feeling of peace, something other than an "emotion" when you really develope a relationship with God. Anyhow, my claim to you is only as valid as any other claim on the front page to me that says "Hey, I woke up at 2:36 last night and a grey alien was sleeping right beside me, and then I woke him up, then he made a high-pitched noise, then I fell asleep and woke up and there was a scar on my wife."

We do and we don't. Just meaning, we have different perspectives of Him. He reaches to our hearts and it has been evident that He enjoys the individuality in His creation.

To those who are having a good laugh, the least you can do is be creative in your jestings and not use the same old school bully tactics. I would at least appreciate some actual witty remarks that would amuse me rather than the same regurgitated crap that one would expect to come from the mind with an IQ of 80.

I never once said there is no god, I actually believe there is a higher being.
I said the BIBLICAL god is a fairytale.
Check my big long post back a page, I just believe the bible to be an irrational, superstitious, work of fiction that is harming mankind as a whole.

Check the link I posted, watch that video. I believe most of what he says, and he can do the subject more justice than I could ever dream of.

Edit: Seriously watch the video. It doesn't mean you can't believe in A god, it just points out how irrational, hippocratic, dangerous, and damaging the bible is.

So true ...that peace that passes all understanding ......thats what I get from it ..knowing that if God be for you ..who could come against you ..
All fear goes away when I feel the depth of his love for us by reading the word ...all the reaching out for us he did all through time that we have been on this earth ..and yet still he is reaching out for us ..to take his hand ...and let him help us ..while we have such turmoil in this world ..(and it is only getting worse) ..................That brings me peace too ..it would not matter if a nuke went off right now ..I would still feel peace ..even if it was my time to go ....because I know how much he loves us all and he will give it his best shot at reaching down to take our hand even if we left him ..or didnt even know him in the first place ..he is just right there never too far to reach out and help you ...or give you peace at least if it is your time to go ......

well, its good that you are civil and courteous in your post. always a good sign.

if it gives YOU a peace of mind then great, but its not for everyone. you have to find that piece of mind through whatever you can, the bible used to do it for me, but not anymore. satan is definitely not responsible for leading people astray as you claim, it is the individual.

To be one with God is a concept beyond linear and material thought.

To die in the flesh is to give birth to spirit unbound from this physical, biological prison.

Can science actually prove evolution? No. It is as much of a theory as is faith. Interpretations, conjecture and mutual agreement is the case for Evolution, Creation and Mental disease.

However, mental "disease" can be proven to be a creation of and an agreement between men. Can the other two be proven? No. They can only be conjecture.

Who can say one is truth when both are true yet equally untrue.

You can count the rings of a tree and determine age by the nuber of rings.

Can carbon dating or depth of ice deposits be so accurate when they are assuming sometimes millions of years when dating artifacts by composition alone?

As far as life and death goes, must one die so that the soul can live eternally? There are two in the bible who have not died.

Do you know who they are? 1 hint. One of them was taken by God.

I honestly don't think that us as a human race is oooh so special that gods and angels and demons "battle" it out for our souls...

Im not doubting i have a soul, i just don't think i am going to go to heaven or hell after i am dead, that'd be pretty boring if thats all there is to the afterlife if you ask me!

Think about it, how many trillions of souls would there be in heaven and hell right now ? theres almost 7billion more on the way and god just keeps pumping out the souls like a machine!

Did we exists before we came to earth ?

If we did, that means re-incarnation is real ?

is there just an endless supply of souls waiting in heaven for their time to be sent to this hellhole so they can be judged to go to heaven or hell ?

I dont need to watch a video that shows all of that ...I have seen it and still see it with my own eyes ..but where your flawed in your thinking is that it is not the BIBLE or whats written in it that makes people do those things ..it is PEOPLE ....people who are OBVIOUSLY messed up ....(Which there are many of them these days)
It is just like guns ...sitting there by itself is not dangerous ..and putting it in the hands of a responsible human being ...would not be dangerous ..and in fact would be beneficial (They would be able to hunt and protect which are good things ) ....
But if someone came along who was irrational and insane or maybe even just has anger issues ..or demonic or etc etc ...would certainly be a dangerous situation .
And if something happened that was just horrible .....Whos fault would that be the guns fault or the persons fault ?
