Word to the wise, when you put people on ignore it's the same as covering yours eyes and saying "I DON"T WANNA lalalallala". Which is of course entirely your choice to make, and I support this freedom.

True. I never add members to ignore. If someone deserves an ignore from me, then they deserve an ignore from the entire community in the form of a ban.

Unfortunately, I don't believe this community hands out bans for circular logic and lack of credible sources. Oh well.

for a site that seemingly prides itself on being open minded, it's interesting to see how many statements are deconstructed, often without context, to project politically correct interpretations of the "language" used to express these statements, language is not a 01 program, yet the interpretations seem to be, have you considered this?

I know it's just a stupid case, I know the teacher was reprimanded, and I know that I can't use it to generalize an entire population. I don't need to pat myself on the back for knowing what he/she did was wrong.

That thread has been up for 2 days now, and it hasn't gotten a second look. Why? That's a good question that all of you on here should be asking yourselves.

I don't know, I just see a large group of people who keep saying Obama and Hitler in the same sentence. Perhaps some of their motives are different, I suppose.

From where I am standing? I can't see any other purpose to continuously bring up Hitler and Obama, show videos comparing them, unless trying to make a comparison.

So, if there is some sort of guilt related to that, and that is why you cannot admit that you are comparing the two, then whatever. But if you aren't comparing Obama to Hitler, then why exactly are you bringing them up?

I have. No where in your post did you justify comparing Obama to Hitler. You avoided it by talking about how he used the term "create" instead of "expand". You talked about other things like what you assume he meant by security force.

While that is a separate debate, in no way is that answering a question about a comparison to Hitler. There is always only one reason why people bring that up: to shock and strike fear into people.

So, while you personally may not be making that comparison - or possibly you are - many others on this thread and in this board are. Not only by this unknown "Force", that no one can find any real sources on where's talked about this in the past, but also he "talks like Hitler" now.

I realize it is beneficial for your esteem to attempt to invalidate my opinions, but there is a very real movement of people on here trying to make the connection between Obama and Hitler.

You are right, some people are making that comparison...and?? Do you control what people think? Is that your goal? Are you trying to make people bend to your way of thinking?

Or are you simply trying to make a point and explain why you do think the way that you do? What I have seen from you has been more criticism of everyone else. What I have not seen from you is anything that would explain why you do think the way that you do.

You have harped on and on about Collage Fraternities ever since that video came out..and it is a good point... but how do you explain the videos that are clearly not Collage aged young people? There are videos out there with some kids that are clearly much younger, but instead of addressing that you rant on and on about Collage Frats. Why don't YOU prove WHY everyone else is so wrong and you are right?

I am not saying Obama is another Hitler. That would like saying Hitler is another Stalin or visa versa. That is not a fair comparison. What I am saying is that the formula is the same, and if you are so closed minded that this possibility is unthinkable to you, then maybe you should start criticizing yourself instead of everyone else.

The only evidence you mustered up yourself was that Obama has associations with people that were influenced by communist, socialist ideologies. (assuming it's accurate)

That is not proof of anything. Like I said in another post, I have mostly conservative republican associations... yet I am a Libertarian Socialist. How do you explain this?

I felt I gave equally substantial evidence merely by showing what Communism looks like (the basic principle anyhow). The POTUS wanting a classless society that gives that remaining body the control of production... doesn't resemble the Democrat Platform in any way shape or form. So this theory relies on the idea that Obama is a sleeper agent for a communist party...

As for comparing Obama to Socialism. Why not do a side by side comparison between Obama and Brian Moore?... Only way around the fact that their platforms are nothing alike, again relies on him being a sleeper agent. Which brings us full circle back to the beginning with his 'associations' being the only evidence.

That's one of the things that really irks me about some of the people on this site. It's like your supposed to accept Obama out-of-hand just 'cause he won the presidency. Like your instantly supposed to adore and bow down to him. With that sort of implication, it is easy to see why so many are calling him a 'messiah'. Tell you what folks, I don't accept ANY political figure out-of-hand for ANY reason, much less because he 'belongs' to the same 'political party' you do. You people shouldn't either. I don't label myself by a political affiliation, I don't respond to red or blue, black or white, I respond to people. I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, but I will not instantly respect anyone. Respect, like trust, is to be earned, not given simply because of title, or station.
