So yes I agree with you on most aspects but if you could see how I look and feel when I get up after this, you'd know there's no one who would want that to happen to them. Ah should of read a little more before I made my last post. Yea if you believe these to be demonic in nature I'd advise you to par take in an exorcism. There was a door that was opened that was never closed. I'd advise you to seek help from a Christian church. Being raised Christian and seeing many things similar I can only offer what worked for me. Christianity will tell you that everyone has a spirit and that spirit is like a sponge. Either it'll be filled with God or it'll be filled with demons. So if your spirit is filled with demons there is no room for God.

While I don't attend church I do hold onto my beliefs. I hope you get the help you deserve!

your not crazy, this has happened to a few people i know,including my mother.
the answer to your problem is that your family are clairvoyants. you see they have unwittingly invited demons into their homes and lives and unfortunately you are suffering the consequences.
my best advice to you is, to rid your home and life of any books,cards,crystals,,jewelry,runes, etc etc that have any connection with fortune telling,clairvoyancy,etc. you must rid your home of any tables etc that have been used to conduct any form of fortune telling on.burn these items if possible,or bury them, do not pass them on to other people,as you will be passing your problem on to someone else.
these demons are also afraid of gods name-yes god has a name and it isnt "god or lord". you can find his name in the bible at psalms chapter 83 verse 18,the name has been taken out of some bibles but you will find it if you look in a few different bibles eg "king james version". use this name when the demons visit you, also pray to god using this name,he will help you if you are sincere. my thoughts and prayers are with you. be strong,you will need to be. and may you find some peace in your life

I should be more specific when I say I welcome them. I am very into the paranormal and with this experience my curiousity get's the best of me in a way. I want to know if it is real and i so why is it happening? I've been thinking about going into paranormal studies because of this. I want to know if this is something inherited, was it something I did to cause it and if so, what was it? The bible acknowledges incubus/succubus demons and being that I am a religous or at least spiritual person and have sought medical advice and turning up nothing, I looked to my bible for answers. When I thought about a reason why this would be happening, I thought about the days I played around with witchcraft. I was young and stupid and in a group of people who doing it. Then I thought well at 8 I wasn't playing with witchcraft so that probably wasn't it. So I looked up information on the net about the Incubus and found they attack people who have immoral, sexual indiscretions and people who have had sexually immoral things happen to them. I have both. I was molested as a child and commited adultery as an adult. I also had some promiscuity issues as a teenager that my therapist said went back to the molestation and rapes....oh I forgot to mention that earlier. In my life I have been raped 3 times. This is why I'm not closed to a psycological explanation. Still after being evaluated, I didn't fall into any texbook characteristics. Just so you know, I've never lied to my psychiatrist about anything, nor would I lie about this and speak on God. When I saw that others had experienced the same phenomena, my thoughts lead to a paranormal explanation. I'm not saying that's 100% what it is but I'm not saying that's 100% what it's not. The entites follow me. The only house they never bothered me at was my grandmother's when I lived there after she died. I had to move because the house was to be sold and the monies divided amognst the children. The house they most bothered me at was my parents house....I will not say too much why but that is where the molestation took place and other evils. I should also add my boyfriend has somewhat witnesses one of the attacks. He was up watching TV and I was on the couch. He said I had just spoken to him and a second later he thought I was sleep. He thought that was odd because I had just gotten up from about 8 hours of sleep. He took a closer look and said my eyes were open and seemed to be following him. This only sorta troubled him for he'd seen me sleep with my eyes open before. The difference was they were wide open and following him. He decided to leave me alone. A few minutes later, he said I started twitching violenting and he could hear me mumbled bits and pieces of the lord's prayer. He ran over and started shaking me and i immediately sat up. I was coughing and gasping for air. He asked me if I had a nightmare and I told him I wasn't asleep. That I'd seen him walk over to me and tried to signal him to stir me. I had watched the TV the whole time and was able to tell him what happened during the time he thought I was asleep. It really freaked him out. Now when I lay down and he's awake, he watches me like a hawk.reply to post by americandingbat

Tends to work with control freaks that are going to prison for a long time.

There is no logic in this statement. Schizophrenia can be inherited. It doesn't matter what kind of life a person has. Being "violated of innocence" doesn't rule out schizophrenia. I'm not trying to assert that she has it, either. But that kind of abuse has to have some sort of psychological effect on a person, and even depression can take on psychotic aspects. I went to a doctor for depression and ended up taking anti psychotics for a while. I was not diagnosed with schizophrenia. She told me that the only type of medicine that could change abnormal thought was an anti psychotic. So
these things that are happening to the OP could be under the "abnormal thought" category or they could be demonic.
Commanding Lucifer will have no effect if this is something organic (or mental) and not metaphysical. It would actually feed the psychosis, so I think it is dangerous to brush off the possibility of a psychological reason when it is so viable in this case

Not to mention this: if people can just cast demons from themselves with strongly worded statements, why do priests, pastors, shamans, and other holy gurus get called in to eradicate the demons? It doesnt seem advisable for her to DIY an exorcism, either.

Hello! I think nobody should be trying to talk down to your situation or happenings. I wanna say that you are probably a person with much light around you, thats why these entities are drawn to you. But now its time for you to stand up, protest and claim your life on this earth. Dead or alive, nobody or nothing has the right to violate you and affect you this way.
I would advise you to contact the right people and angels to help you get rid off this haunting.
Go see some phsycics, go to healers and tell them that you are in search for freedom from your situations. You need some help with this.
There is a way, there is hope, there are people that deal with this kinda stuff everyday and you must put yourself in contact with them.
Your house needs clearing and you need healing.

Since there have been some accusations thrown around in this thread already, I'm putting a disclaimer. I am not a doctor, psychologist, psychiatrist, or spiritual leader in any Christian or other tradition. I have absolutely no qualification to diagnose what's going on with you. I look at this as being a place where you can come and bounce ideas off people who might be sympathetic and not dismiss your experience. In return, I get to hear evidence about a phenomenon that fascinates me.

The reason I asked about whether it followed you from house to house was to rule out the possibility of some kind of location-specific entity, or environmental factor.

I don't know very much about sleep paralysis, but it's worth reading up on, and I know there are several threads here at ATS about it also. I guess you said you went to a sleep therapist and that didn't help. I don't know if maybe it's worth looking into a sleep study center?

You've already said that you will look further into the long-term effects of molestation – I think that's key to getting through this, whether the entities are generated by your mind or exist outside of you (I don't think those are incompatible, either). It's going to be a scary process for you most likely, and you may need help (either professional or from other victims) to deal with what it brings up.

And I think it's really important that you've talked to your pastor.

I guess the most important thing I want to communicate is to be open to the possibility that all explanations – physical, psychological, and spiritual – can be true at the same time, and that you may need to do work on all three levels to free yourself.

It might help to have someone to sleep with...even a service type dog or something along those lines...a roommate or someone sympathetic to your plight...not sure if it'll help, but I just wished you well with a prayer. If this continues to trouble you, maybe there'd be a way to desensisize? yourself to this...condolenses...Michael

How is what is being presented text book schizophrenia?

When this paralysis happens, do you ever hear weird sounds? Ringing sounds inside your head for example? And many times insane feeling of fear maybe?

I've had lots of experiences with sleep paralysis a period, and it's clearly that you're experiencing a lot of that I think. Laying in bed, trying to move/scream, but you're not able to? The levetation feeling is also normal in this state, sometimes blackouts too, and you might fight yourself out of it and then it happens again right after, I've experienced all this.

It may be something paranormal, but what I aslo believe is that you're in this state is much more influenced by your fantasy and fears and it becomes like a wake-dream. At least I have had weird experiences in this state which I believes must have been my fantasy, and your history of abuse might be why your "dreams" in this state gets so bad.

I experience something similar to this, about three times when I was around 15 (including the sexual side). It was absolutely terrifying, and felt very very real, but after researching I put it down to Sleep Paralysis (you've already said this is when it occurs) combined with strong hallucinations. A crushing of the chest and other parts of the body is also sometimes reported.

Does it happen when you sleep in a certain position? I no longer sleep on my back, as that is when I find it occurs.

You've already said it occurs during sleep paralysis, so I don't personally see what the debate is about.
