This is the same ignorant bs that I brought up in another thread. I have witnessed people with close to the same comments and wanted to discuss it, but the comments I received basically told me to mind my own business and let people vote for whoever they want. Is this the voice you want for America? Ignorant redneck patriots across the nation are doing the same thing.
That old lady will be seen running through the streets yelling “the blacks are coming!” if Obama wins… wtf is he going to do to white people? That younger woman thinks all Muslims are terrorists.
The pro-Obama guy says he fears these people might do something to Obama… if he’s elected I think this may be a legitimate fear. Those people will be very angry…

This reminds me of a candidate for president we had back in my country (Dom. Rep).
Because he was black and thought to be of Haitian descendants, he never became a president despite his popularity, experience and international connections. He even won one election and was boycotted because they said that if he became the president the Haitians were going to take over.

Racism is going to exist for a long time, as shown in this video, and the reason for that is because IGNORANCE is going to exist for a long time.

We all know who is giving the direction in the white house, the president, any president, is only the driver. Let's see what happens when a president wants to drive in his own direction!

We have not moved forward one bit in society, in fact we are still going round in circles endlessly.

After watching that it confirms to me why we are going through such a massive heap of troubles and why many deserve it to be honest. Stuck up people with stone age views will get what they give.

The sheer ignorance is beyond belief and it worries me that we cannot move past things such as the way someones appearance might be different from our own?

These people should be ashamed of themselves.

Even in the year 2008 to 2009 we are still going through this? Man it is not a good time for me to be black (rather mixed) right now. Only thing that concerns me is what if a Hispanic ran for white house office, would the same ignorance show up? Perhaps some people haven't moved away from this type of ignorance against race. Seems more like they just suppressed it/hid it until something monumental comes up...

Btw. I'm in Ohio to, though I haven't heard much of anything like this around where I live or at my college campus so suppose I'm lucky.

I live in Michigan in a college town. Same scenario here. Around here Obama seems to have most of the votes. BUT, I am from a smaller, rural town not far from here and the same people are there. It depends on where you are... but I don't think leaving the state will do any good. Perhaps leaving the country, or like Tina Fey has said she will do... leave the Earth. LOL

I am all for people being entitled to their own opinions, and voting the way they would like, but I am against racism and ignorance. I know it's difficult to open a closed mind and look at all angles of this election, but it is possible.

What I find disturbing is this:
Many people here are calling the folks in that video ignorant, uneducated rednecks. They do appear to be such.
YET these "sophisticates" here have access to a high-speed internet, with
unlimited research tools at their disposal, but STILL haven't discerned that Obama is JUST ANOTHER
liar, con-man, hypocrite, and professional career politician\lawyer\lobbyist\corporate shill
at the trough.

Lets face it, we all know those views are out there. What sets off my warning flag is the naked hatred dressed in the full regalia of ignorance. I would like to pretend such views do not exist but I am only fooling myself.
If Obama is the next president (and I think he will be) the Secret Service better have their act together as never before in history because if a sitting President is taken from us by people who believe lies there will be an upheavel seen in America unlike any ever before.

Terriorists don't need to plant bombs or anything here, they only have to sit back and watch us implode under the weight of our own ignorance.

Question to all in general:
Okay I'm getting quite annoyed by hearing the name terrorist, who exactly are the terrorist? According to dictionary.com [sorry if this is a bad one to use.]

A Terrorist is a
1. a person, usually a member of a group, who uses or advocates terrorism.
2. a person who terrorizes or frightens others.

So wouldn't the people calling Obama terrorist actually be terrorist themselves in return? I'm just curious, because this term seems to be used a lot but nothing seems to be backing it up. Everytime I hear it I just think of Bush saying that same word over and over again.

Little bit out of topic but could someone from US explain me what's the general idea over there about "socialism" and "communism"? Because it seems to me that it's similar to calling someone a "killer" or "terrorist"...

Just amazed because both socialism and communism would probably offer a lot better life to most of the people in the first to vids of the thread.

Here in Spain when you talk about socialism you are talking about things like free healthcare, cheaper houses, more jobs, less taxes for ppl with low incomes, and that kind of stuff... It's also true that the communism is not regarded as a real government model but the perception about it is not as negative as the one in US.

So what does this people really think when they talk say Obama is a socialist?! Why are they against if they are poor people?!

Similar point could be made for meaning to insult someone by calling him Muslim.

These people obviously are completely uninformed as to any of the real issues, llet alone what a president even does. Every single point one of those people made was straight from the news or a slanderous campaign ad. They are brainwashed! It has nothing to do with being black, nothing to do with religion, and a wolf in sheeps clothing? McCain willingly joined the military, the 'worlds largest terrorist organization in the world.' (Paraphrase from Zeitgeist 2) Anyone so ignorant as to politics or the duties of a president should no be allowed to vote, as voting under those types of pretenses are a detriment to the system.

Earlier on, you said ACORN was the core issue. And the proof of ACORN being a core issue is a comment made by one interviewee in a video that isn't the topic of this thread? The topic of this thread is the video that's actually embedded in the OP.

Oh, just for the record, despite only having dial-up, I downloaded the video and transcribed it, just to see how important ACORN was to the people in the video the thread was actually about.

ACORN probably is an issue, but the thread is actually about these comments:
