Not interested in such garbage noise, tyvm.

What you call 'music' I call noise obviously.

That isn't talent, it is a guy who yells for a living, any street person can do the same. This guy just gets better soup in the lineup.

I agree, the "malook", no? The old Italian hand sign to ward off evil spirits? At least that how it was in my neighborhood/family.

It is actually called the Mal Occhio, literally translating from Italian as the 'Evil Eye'. Hope this helps.

By the way, I just gave it to you.

Wow, easy brother....

Dio didn't "yell" for a living, in fact he is well known for the intricacies of his vocal talents. If you don't like rock 'n' roll, you can always stay at home!

One person's idol/icon is another's idiot/noisemaker.

Prefer real musicians (with talent) thanks.

Not into garble/grunge.

*btw, the guy who wears the Burger King costume for a living isn't really a king. (except to those who eat that garbage-that he really doesn't cook).

Talent? lol You really are easily amused I see. The simple minded often find cleverness in nothingness.

Me too. Thus my affection for the music of Dio. He has been around for longer than even the Beatles and the Stones, and for good reason.

Not into garble/grunge.

Me either.

I was just thinking the same thing after reading your post.

You may or may not like the music that he makes, but he did have a decent voice with a 3 1/2 octave range, as this video shows...

Great video. It certainly shows the contrast of musical styles that Dio experimented with during his 52 year career as an artist. Personally, I'm partial to his work with Elf in the late '60's and early '70's, and his work with Rainbow in the mid-to-late '70's. I took up guitar as a youngster in the mid-70's; at that time, Blackmore, Page, and Iommi were all at their peak, and I was hugely into Rainbow.

Do you always insult people over their personal prefrences? Why not say, "I respect your opinion but that type of music/artist does not appeal to me."?

What next?

Brittany Spears?
Devo?

country music?

not interested in the noise, get over it. Not everyone must enjoy the same things you do.

What ever happens to appeal to someone is their own choice. Why anyone would insult others, let alone concern themselves, over another person's musical preferences is somewhat obnoxious.

You should not assume. I do not enjoy Ronnie James Dio's music myself but I do not criticize others over their choice to listen to him. It is funny how you say that, "Not everyone must enjoy the same things you do", yet here you are acting like the cultural etiquette maven.
