My new production company has started doing some music videos... from rap to redneck. I'll post them as soon as they hit youtube. I'm really feeling the lyrics to this song right now.... (plus I have to plug one of my favorite Canadian bands...that happens to have what I consider one of the all time greatest drummers)

I am posting this one because I believe it is beautiful...I know it is not what one may expect, but I believe true artists make their music and then the public decides...wonderfully apt lyrics for me. My ex made us leave NY after lying about being on BC...moved to Denver and things fell apart...this song may seem the antithesis, but I grew from it.



Sadness is also part of life...

I have actually never heard of nektar before. The 70s are one of my weaker decades as far as music knowledge and appreciation goes, but I definitely dig this. These guys are really, really good actually the more I listen. I am surprised I haven't come across them before. Thanks!

There is another psychedelic rock band that I associate with nectar, though. They got their start at Nectar's in Burlington, VT and here is a classic tune (not one of their more psychedelic tracks, but they play a lot of styles) off of their "A Picture of Nectar" album. I have seen these guys over two hundred times, and wish I was on tour right now.

A bit of a bipolar back-to-back, but here is a great song that transcends time and boundaries...
