Actually I just got finished with the hippie lettuce, however, I generally dont hallucinate, ha, ha. But seriously finding water on Mars is still a pretty big deal. If 2 planets in the same solar system have water, then the odds are that a heck of alot of other planets do also. BTW, no need to bow your head in shame, mistakes happen. I would have done the same thing. Thats why this site exists, right?

Some of the "teases" for upcoming broadcasts are intended to catch the viewer's attention. They go a little too far sometimes. I, also, have seen news stories advertised that were never shown. An explanation for that is that the piece was considered fluff and if they saw that the show was going to run long, they would cut the fluff.

If you need batteries for your hearing aide, just yell.
I know how these things go personally.

I've known a guy for five years.
I found out a month ago his name is not Terrance.

No problem here with those Mars drips that have scientist excited.

What bothers me isn't the fact that the OP made a mistake. Hell I do tons of them on any given day, especially when it comes to hearing and interpreting. Not to mention the fact that he very early admitted he might have got it wrong, and id own up to his mistake. Kudos for that!

What does bother me is the cheap shots some people like to snipe in here and there. It's one thing to wary of the information as someone mentioned above, but to me it's a pretty low thing to start accusing someone of drug use or mental illness because of something posted on an alternative topic forum.

More than anything I think that makes people hesitant to participate and share information. If your information is sincere, at least to your own knowledge, constructive critisism and scrutiny should not be a deterrent, but the sniping that goes on can very well be.

Ah well, I'll stop rambling about this here. I suppose the sniping it's just a way to compensate for all the short comings in life, and it's safe to do it in front of the computer screen. I mean, it's not like there's a real person receiving the cheap shot right?

Shame on all of you who jumped on the TS. If any of you had seen a news feed on the television about a ship on Mars, I am sure you would have done the same. Whats wrong with a little human excitement? Even if he misunderstood it, some of you were very harsh and quite brutal with your attacking ways. It is truly a shame that there is no room for a simple error on this site without being lashed for it. If you ever see the bogeyman, all the best to you. I surely hope there is a better way to go about these things than to have people mock and have an almost angry reaction to such a thing.

Any day could be the day that we hear "What appears to be a ship has been found on Mars."

So please, go easy on simple errors.

TS, thank you for your efforts. I would have been very interested to see this report and would have done the same. If it happens, I'll still do the same, regardless of the lashings.

You do not need to open account anywhere to post photos ATS!!! First you can upload them directly through ATS and secondly (if you do not understand and are not interested to try the icons at the top of the posting window) you can always upload them in www.imageshack.us... or www.fasterupload.com... or 10 of other sites

Sincerely

How the hell did this not get wiped by those trigger happy mods?

As for ships on mars, I think you may have misheard something, even the previously stated battered mars bars holds more credit.

Is that not like the pot calling the kettle black?

Im sure Linda Moulton Howe will agree with every word you said.

Sensationalism, misunderstanding, and understanding what is true before you post it indeed.

Two things I find odd about this...
1. Having read most of the previous comments I cannot find one who saw the same TV bulletin as the poster.
2. Who the hell watches Something About Raymond?

How about this for a theory. Since NASA have just disclosed that they have found water, what about if the commentator made a joke about NASAs next find being a ship to sail on the water? A simple comment heard out of context could be the route cause of this mistake!

What completely shocks me is that we are at page 5 of this thread w/ absolutely NOTHING to show for anything...Why are we still entertaining this thread i have no idea...seems we could actually be posting in more useful threads and putting our energies into something we can actually sink our teeth into...come on ATS were better than this

I love Everyone Loves Raymond.
its hilarious.

I think that the OP could have heard right.
there are many possibilities for them not bringing it up again.
perhaps a higher up heard the same commercial and shut them up?
I mean, apparently we are JUST hearing about water on mars but they said in their report that other missions have concluded the same thing... they tell us what they want to tell us when they want to tell us.
Is it so far fetched?
Many of us believe in ET life, why is so hard to believe they use our moon or mars as a rest area?

Anyway, true or not, I'm open to that possibility

Don't know if this is what they were talking about, but Hoagland recently came out with a new video on youtube which in it, shows an oblong UFO, perched on a cliff top. Maybe this is what they were going to report?

This video, 3:07 in:

From this thread:

Thanks for linking that video!

Someone on the first or second page linked the photo of the same anomaly, but this video does a much better job at pointing everything out, and about all the other hidden mysteries on mars.

Here's the same video in case people dont feel like opening up another tab:
