They are just doing more missile tests. Other than that there are just a bunch of assumptions.

They have performed these tests more times that I care to count over the years. Sadam did too.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't it you who said Saddam undeniably had WMD's?

Everyone and their mother is conducting missile tests these days. It's posturing. A show of force. All that Sun-Tzu crap...

It means bupkus, just because Iran can launch 2 tons of scrap metal 2,000km or so doesn't mean they have WMD's.

America isn't the only one that likes to threaten other nations and deter them by flexing their military muscle.

Ahmadinejad may be outspoken but he is NOT insane.

He even seriously considers launching a nuke at Israel or an American base or smuggling one into the US and that will be the end of Iran as we know it.

He's not that stupid.

All signs point towards the fact Iran has actually halted it's Nuclear Programme since 2003 due to mounting International Pressure and has not made any significant attempts to restart it since:

www.boston.com...
www.telegraph.co.uk...

I honestly think Iran saw what happened to Iraq in 2003 and panicked and simply pulled the plug because they didn't want the US to come knocking by their door.

Washington knows this which is why they've been desperately trying to paint Iran as a clear & present threat with all of this propaganda because they still want to go through with it.

If a nuclear attack happens in the US anytime in the near future, you can bet your bottom dollar Iran will have nothing to do with it.

Instead of FOX or CNN, we should have PRAVDA!

They do not have missiles with the range to be able to hit the U.S. They would have to use another country much closer to launch and hit the U.S. We would be able to t detect movement of missile deployments. We have satellites that can read your name tag. More fear.

The military industrial complex can't lose with this garbage. If they don't get their precious war with Iran, they'll get trillions for pie-in-the-sky missile defense systems. Then they'll reinvest a big chunk of that in pumping out more propaganda.

Interesting observation! No one believed the Jawa's would have used 700,000 lb commercial aircraft to slaughter 3000 innocent souls in kamikaze attacks on 911 either.

Iran may not have a specific missile with the range to reach the CONUS yet. They are not stupid, they certainly have missiles with sufficient range to reach any point in the Middle East and we have substantial interests there. Bear in mind, at the end of the day, we are still infidels. Iranians and the entire Islamic world see us as their primary infidel enemy; moreover, they view it their sacred mission in life to behead and slaughter all infidels. In other words, if you are not Muslim you are an infidel and you too are at risk.

After all, there are between 15-20 million Muslims in the U.S. take your pick! Of that number 150-200 thousand of them are actively planning their terrorist insurgent strategy they will use in this country when the lunatics in this nation decide to snatch defeat form the jaws of victory and walk away from this war. Islam will not permit that. Nor would I, if I were a Muslim fanatic as opposed to an American fanatic who spent half his life defending this nation and wants to preserve this nation at all cost. To hell with how many of them we have to kill. Kill as many as is necessary for them to get the point across and like the Japanese, they too will quit!

Make no mistake, people of the Islamic persuasion are determined to kill as many of us as they can. They indeed struck CONUS on 911. Given the means and the opportunity, they can and will hit us or our troops.

Just as soon as these savages get their hands on a nuclear device, you can bet your life that they will use it. Getting an ADM(s) in the US might take a little time, effort and money and like 911, given time, they will succeed. Oh, what if one or more nuclear devices is already here? What have our politicians, our parliament of whores, done lately to secure out borders? NADA!

Our problem is that we don't have the national will nor the moral courage to define the enemy as Islam and take the necessary preemptive measures to ensure that no Islamic or any other national entity would ever wish to strike the United States again much less using nuclear device against us, our troops or our national interests.

My greatest fear is that we will ignore the Islamic nuclear threat until it is too late and we have been hit again. Then, I am not too sure this nation will have the guts to get up and put an immediate end to Islamic savagery. So far we have not willing to preempt such savagery and I don't think we will until after we have been hit with a nuclear device. DON'T under estimate the enemy! Many of whom were educated here in US. To underestimate the JAWA's is to ensure they will kill you.

Happy nightmares!

Yep that was me. Wouldnt surprise me if Mr. Shorty in Iran had some as well. Not sure how that fits here though.

Everyone and their mother is conducting missile tests these days. It's posturing. A show of force. All that Sun-Tzu crap...

Exactly. There is nothing even newsworty about it anymore. Everyone has there game face on. It was a bit intimidating at first, but that wore off a couple years ago.

Ahmadinejad may be outspoken but he is NOT insane.

I am not convinced of that yet. He is not stupid. Insane is still in the air for me though. This man believe he is spiritually superior. He feels it is his calling and responsibility to show us the error of our ways. He has the smarts to bring the middle east and surounding areas up to major power player level. Perhaps even surpasing us. I know that is a stretch for most to believe, but believe it or not, it could happen if he plays his cards right......and he has so far.

He even seriously considers launching a nuke at Israel or an American base or smuggling one into the US and that will be the end of Iran as we know it.

He's not that stupid.

Your right he is not that stupid. He is going to fool us into a preemptive strike first.

I think after Iraq started, they saw a major advantage, and jummped on it. This was his chance to have nuclear power. There were enough people who were angry with us that he was able to get what he wanted, info on how to build nuclear power plants. One does not obtain that sort of power and not arm themselves.

There you go. What's wrong with this deal?Since they now have nuclear plants and fuel, why must they continue their hidden agenda to produce uranium? Answer: Because they want nukes!
Thanks, this just proved my point.

You do know that Uranium is what powers nuclear power stations, don't you?

The Uranium enrichment is not a "hidden agenda" as you put it and has been monitored by the IAEA. So far there is only evidence that enrichment to 3% or so is taking place, consistent with fuel production. Enrichment to about 98% is required for nuclear weapons production and there is no evidence that this is talking place.

So, merely stating they are enriching Uranium is meaningless without the accurate detail concerning the actual level of enrichment.

With those words you could be talking about your own president. But I guess it doesn't matter if a president is mad or not, just so long he isn't bombing YOU.

And then you make comments about Iran becoming a major player, and becoming possibly even bigger than the US? Better stamp em down before they achieve that huh? If you guys have anything to fear from the world it is only your own fault.

The Bush/Blair lie all over again!

It`s the Iraq/Korea sham all over again, "Be in fear everyone they have Weapons of mass destruction, So We need to wage war against them, Theres no Oil or Isreal involved, Honest!" Yes right! This is the era of government induced fear. The N.W.O rattleing its Weapons of war! How about somebody sets up a NEW WORLD ORDER for the benifit of Mankind, rather than the financial benifit of a select few, Whom believe they have the God given right from birth to control our every wakeing moment! Who made them God? Well its not going to be as easy this time to convince the European public! But it seems that America is ready to believe in any cause that their so called "Elected" President decides on. Obama is already proclaming the guilt of Iran. Remember if it was`nt for 9/11 Bush would never have been able to convince America and the UK to go to war on flimsy evidence of weapons of mass destruction. And there shadow puppets the UN.

Iran halted their weapons program in 2003 so they could move the operations into a legal civilian program.

If you want to enrich uranium for a nuke, you do it under the guise of a civilian nuclear program.

If you want to test intercontinental ballistic missiles you have to do it under a space program. We are launching satellites. Ya Right!

Iran is very smart and needed to test their missiles. So they created their space port so they could launch ballistic missiles stating they are preparing for satellite launches.

They believe they can hasten the return of their Mahdi (misspelled) by creating chaos in the world. They believe if they nuke Israel their version of Christ will return. They think he will go to Mecca and then Irbil (misspelled) Iraq. They state that Jesus will come to help mediate between their Mahdi and the other religions. Those who don't embrace Islam will be killed. Sounds like the Anti Christ to me.

When the leader of a country states another country (Israel) should be wiped of the map and then publicly announces they have 3,000 centrifuges going that is a red flag. Who gets so excited about a power plant?

Oh and for all of you who posted a comment on here stating Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction you should not listen to the crap that is fed to you.

Where did the Mustard gas he used against the Kurds go?
Where is the Anthrax the Unites States gave him to use against Iran?

I'll tell you where, The Russian Ambassador escorted it in a trucking convoy to Syria in the beginning of the war.

The United States fired on it and the Russian Ambassador screamed I'm on this convoy!

Why would the Russian Ambassador risk his life to drive to Syria in the middle of a war when he could pick up the phone and be flown to safety?

The Bush administration would rather say we had faulty intelligence than admit that they let the weapons drive into Syria. Even worse that the Russians helped proliferate weapons of mass destruction. Why do you think Israel bombed that site in Syria recently? They would have bombed Iran's enrichment first if Syria wasn't closer to a nuke.

Check it out. Search for Russian Ambassador in Iraq. There are tons of articles where the Russian Ambassador tried to claim we attacked it on purpose because they would not let us inspect the convoy.

The Media is controlled and they tell us what our government wants us to hear. Notice we invaded the country on each side of Iran? This whole thing was probably about Iran to start with. It just didn't go as quickly as they had hoped. They could have invaded Iran from both sides, Iraq and Afghanistan.

Your joking right, have you actually studied Iranian history and/or researched Ahmadinejad?

Well if so, you will recall that Ahmadinejad was mayor of Tehran prior to being president....

In his tenour as such he felt it prudent to spend billions of tax payers money on re-designing tehran to cater for a route for the hidden imam to return...This is a country crippled by inflation....

This along with his assertions that the holocaust never took place, and that "iran is the most free country in the world", surely most people would question the sanity of this guy.

Your right, he's just outspoken, thats all...

Iran has continously denied the IAEA access to many of its sites and even throwing them out without prior notice, if you actually read the IAEA reports up to now they even declare that Iran has failed to explain military dimensions to its program. This is why the UN has called for a ceasing of enrichment until Iran answers these questions.

They have succesfully played for 6 years of time, without addressing many key questions, not to mention the Khan documents that Iran was caught red handed with...

Israel have marched IAEA inspectors away from approaching DIMONA at gunpoint

whats your point?

the USA doesn`t allow IAEA inspectors to 70% of its facilities?

whats your point?

the IAEA doesn`t have carte blanche rights to anything - Iran have completed the work plan , within teh IAEA framework , and are completely and legally allowed to enrich fuel for its reactors - its Israel running scared and the USA following along on a lead beating this bush and making crap up.

i hope the next president of the USA spends 4 years mending all the damage in foreign relations Bush has done - although i suspect it will take many decades to do that.

Israel, hasn't threatened the anihilation of another country. Thats my point.

Israel is a democratic country. Thats my point.

Israel doesn't hang and stone its own people. Thats my point.

Isreal is believed to have had nukes for the last 50 years, has it used them once?

Iran can't even treat its own people right, what makes you think they give a damn about landing a nuke elsewhere.

Tell me what do you actually know about the doctrine of the current regime of Iran? My guess is next to nothing..
