I myself have seen two UFO's, my second sighting being pretty impressive , at least to me (see my profile for the story). But at the end of the day,
how many people will ever know about my own story and of those people who do know, how many of them would then go on to be inspired to begin reading
up on the subject and educating themselves ? So far, none !
On the basis of my own sightings, if I were to stand up as the unknown I am and talk about them in front of 1,000 people, guaranteed the majority will
take what I say with a pinch of salt, go home and forget all about it. And because these listeners are not "fans" of mine in any way they will also
likely subject me to a lot more pi%^&ss taking than they would if their favourite actor was on that same podium regaling the tale.
If someone well known talks about the same UFO experience that I had, he or she would have a much wider audience to talk to, and guaranteed a fair
percentage of these listeners would go away with their imaginations inspired to the extent they will begin to look into it all.
So it seems to me that if and when well known people talk about these things, then they are by logical reasoning going to (a) get a broader audience,
(b) get what they say taken a bit more seriously by the crowd listening and (C) effect inspiration in the minds of far more people than I could
talking about the same thing.
Celebs have a connection to the masses that non-celebs do not and therefore perhaps affect mass consciousness in ways non-celebs do not. That, I feel
is their soul mission...we all have one and some of us choose the fame path . The things they talk about, the way they lead their lives, the
activities they involve themselves in...reach many many other minds on the planet and therefore the power to influence or inspire is widespread
compared to those of us not in that position.
It's exciting when celebs exercise their right to personal freedom whilst essentially being stuck in the cage that their fame must create - ie taking
a stand and not being afraid to be mocked, derided, etc. When they dare to be true to themselves so very publicly and draw awareness to issues that
are controversial or "fringe" etc. . Look at David Icke for example. Fame is an opportunity that goes beyond wealth and adoration, it is a chance to
make a difference and raise awareness because so many people are listening to you.
