As an atheist or agnostic, would you want to say prayers, learn things from the bible, and be in a group that centered it's teachings around God?

i did not know freemasonry is a religion.

I've been following this thread pretty closely and that reply is just plain ignorance.

It isn't, but it is religious in nature. Still not sure you answered the question.

So i have a question, are you guys reading the Phoenician scriptures or the one they stole from Egypt?
Cause one of the groups lay it in text the other in pillars, cause it seems you use both?

There is nothing Phoenician or Egyptian in the ritual.

One of the images i found was about geometrical shapes in freemasonry coming from the Old ancient culture of the East, the fingers and the twelve and so on..

Considering that is the primary source of disseminating the teachings of the Fraternity the ritual would be the only place where your question would be addressed. All Masons experience the ritual, all other forms to further what is taught there are optional and personally interpretive.

then perhaps you should direct your concerns to network dude, the user i was responding to. i am not a mason, thats why im asking questions. but it appears that there are strong religious undertones to freemasonry, whether it is a religious institution or not. you are at least required to enlist with a supreme being, regardless of what you call it. i admire a great many things about masons, but that is one detail i cannot comply with. thanks for your patience, masons of ats.

Only the people that built it could answer specific questions as to its construction.

I have a really curious question, you place different deities in the same allegory when they in fact arent the same, is your teachings wrong or do you just accept what is taught? The sons of Cain rebelled and was extremely punished, could they have taught you maybe wrong on purpose ?
