Antar just said she doesn't have any hard evidence. And knowing her i definately give her at least the benefit of the doubt instead of bashing her or trying to prove she is a looney - she really is stable - no acid trips. I believe it would be prudent to get to know people and perhaps read other posts of theirs before making a decision of who they may or may not be. Like the old saying goes - Never judge a book by its cover...

Really sad that you don't even know who you're talking to. Know any "smug skeptics" who routinely talk openly on radio, internet and lectures about being a lifelong experiencer? How about one who gives huge chunks of his life to case research and photo analysis work?

So, when your selling tickets to your events do you give people such as...lets see...Greer, a platform? You know, the guy who just wrote to his fans asking for their stimulus package to be "donated" to one of his organizations? The guy who charges up to 800 bucks to go shine flashlights into the dark...yet hasn't provided one iota of evidence to back up his claims of vectoring in structured craft? Or his claims of photos of alien babies? Or for that matter...anything?

What I thought was odd was that he lashed out against the "smug skeptics" for not believing anything about the phenomena; yet, clearly if he had read my or your posts, he would have seen that we accepted the phenomena as a reality.
And then instead of arguing for the existence of the phenomena (as one might expect) he instantly raises his hackles at the issue of money making. Too close to home?

What would happen if the government released that they have been keeping alien contact from us and that they do exist? What will happen? Will the aliens suddenly come down and make themselves known or will it just be a case where people go I told you so and it's over? I was always curious what would happen. Would it cause mass hysteria? Would ATS shutdown the UFO section because it will no longer be so secretive? If you've got answers, enlighten me.

can't believe that people inthis day and age,still haven't accepted that we're not alone in the universe. We're on the edge of our galaxy,in the out back,with not very many neighbours. But,with out technology,we've spotted many stars with planets. I think i read somewhere,that 25% of the stars they've looked at have planets round them. There're between 200 and 400 billion stars in our galaxy alone. 25% of that is a massive number. Then take into consideration,where life has evolved on this planet. In the most extreem places,to the most mundane. When you're on your next walk,just look at all the life growing on stuff that's been sat there for just a few days too long. It springs into action where ever,and when ever it can. I see no reson to think that we're in any way unique. Infact i beleive quite the opposite.

back on track......I also think that it's possible for disclosure to be unfolding all around us as we speak. if things are working the way some people think that they're working,then it's entirely possible IMO.

there is no proof of other civilizations existing. How do you know that the odds of a technological civilization arising are not trillions & trillions to 1? making us the only one in the universe? with our current lack of evidence you must accept the possibilty we may be unique.

Just becuase you want them to exist doesnt make it true

if space faring civilizations are common why hasnt the earth been colonized in the last 500 million years?

we have scanned the whole sky for "uber" signals from the entire universe and found none. Why?

The history of earth tells us that tech intelligence is NOT a convergent feature of evolution. I think this tells us that tech intelligence will be rare in the cosmos.


personally i think technological intelligence is rare but probably do exist somehwere in the universe. But i also concede with no evidence its possible we are alone.

What if...
Considering the majority of posters here believe aliens are visiting this world- What if the governments of the world are hiding their existance, except they've never been to Earth.
What if we know of their existance and have communicated, but never met face to face?
What then?
I'm not saying this as, "Oh then they're lying to us." I mean, what if this is the honest to God truth?
Then how do we take it?
It would certainly change all those reports of UFO's.

Granted some very credible people report strange happenings- But, then maybe they're of human creation.

Just throwing that out there as a "What if" situation.

Of course, if they do exist and visit us on a regular basis- The fact that they haven't made themselves known to the public seems shadowy. Sure, they may be waiting for the "Right time." But, at the same time, remaining hidden just seems like they would have an alterior motive for us.

There have been so many sightings in Mexico even video of some sort of being trying to grab a kid playing in an alley caught on video and backed up by radioactive detecting equipment for proof of an unearthly event..

I'd like to see the report on the Detected Radiation of that event. That particular video was proven to be a hoax. The Kids that were playing in that alley admitted to staging it and uploading it to YouTube.

Another Video Clip that people swear is true is the one where the Reporter is in a Helicopter at the World Trade Centre and Spots a UFO hovering. The Film crew film it shooting up into the sky leaving behind a smoke trail.

That particular clip was produced by a company working on an Sci Fi Ad of some sort. They even produced a clip saying that they had made that clip and how they made it. They themselves couldn't believe it had made such an impact with the UFO Community.

Are we wanting to believe in Aliens and other inhabited worlds so badly that we are ignoring the actual Facts?
I do believe that there is other intelligent life out there in the universe. How can there not be? But, Until I can actually see for myself, an Alien standing in front of me, I won't believe they have been here or are here already.

We do not need concrete proof of alien life to push for disclosure. Why? Because we do have concrete proof that the government is withholding information on the subject.

Now, you may be thinking 'methods & sources' but this is still not coming clean on the issue. Even if the whole UFO thing turns out to be something odd like an ongoing, massive, psychological experiment -- unlikely -- then it's about time they were held to account for that, too.

Whatever it is, if it's that secret, you can bet it's not for the public good.

It's all cyclical... Interest in UFOs and Aliens ebbs and wanes, just as it always has... Make no mistake however, the debunker's words will still carry more weight than believers'. Don't believe me? Try going up to your boss and have a discussion about how you believe in alien life visiting Earth... Yep, that's what I thought...

The relegation of UFOs to the "wacky" and "outlandish" taboo, is still firmly in place. If there was a serious governmental effort to bring about disclosure, it'd be much more effective than a hodgpodge of tv shows, movies, etc. It'd likely begin with the official acknowledgement of ET microbes and/or plantlife discovered by NASA, thereby laying the mental groundwork for then conditioning others to accept ET life, prior to accepting intelligent ET life...
