As long as he's property of the US government he cannot practice free speech or any of his first amendment rights outside of those allowed by the military CoC.

Does anyone remember the case of the soldier who was disciplined for wearing his uniform while still enlisted to an anti-war protest? He was punished (and rightly) for representing the US military in a situation that the US military did not support.

Now, unless the US military has made it official that we(the US government) no longer respect the religion of Islam and condones the use of the Qu'ran as a target, this soldier can not act as he did..... (and get caught)

Is this thread still going???? Have the hand holding hippies won over the "ignorant", just remember guys, bend over and take it in the ass make sure you have a big grin on while you receive the full fat juicy girth of Islam.

As you can see the brothers of Islam in my town insight hatred in their mosque, force preteen white girls into prostitution and basically # all over the minority. E.g. me, so call me a racist, a moron, ignorant or whatever, but until you’re in an environment with this forceful, # religion you can’t comment on how peace loving and wonderful it is because it ain’t Islam hates all other religions simple as, and if there are any muslims on this post you know it to, you'd love nothing more than to beat the living sh*t out of my pasty white infidel backside.

I think most people would agree with you as I do. As I said before, Islam is not a religion of peace. A "religion of peace" does not exist except in the minds of those who are too blind to know what the phrase even means in the first place. Religion is a man-made creation and is flawed like any other man-made creation. I believe it is people who wrote the bible, not god. It is people who wrote the koran, not god. The ideaologies inevitably clash philosophically just as they have in war. The same goes for all the major conflicts throughout history fought in the name of god which resulted in the deaths of countless human beings.

Ok heres the deal, im not anti-muslim, anti-jewish or anti-christian, what I am is anti-fanatics.
It just so happens that the religion with the most fanatical worshipers is islam, in my opinion at least.
Whens the last time youve heard the Vatican put out a contract on a cartoonist for drawing a cartoon making fun of the pope, or jesus or the virgin mary for that matter?
I cant remember EVER hearing or reading a story where someone had charges brought against them or caused an international incident for shooting, stomping or even burning a bible, at least not in my lifetime.
Go ahead shoot a bible, wipe with a bible or roll a cigarette with bible paper, i dont care, its only a copy of the word, not the word itself.

After living over there among the muslim people of that region for many years AND being deployed 4 times now to the "Sand Trap", I can tell you first hand about "Them"...They are some of the most generous people there are on the face of the planet...literally giving you the shirt off of their backs if asked. Yes, they are VERY tempermental about their Holy Book...but for most, religion is all they have...You see, the majority do NOT have the money over there...I'm not saying that the common folk are dirt poor, but they don't have a whole lot...There is a VERY common mis-perception that anyone from over there is rich, due to pics and what not from magazines that show oppulent palaces and the like...but I'll tell you, it's a VERY small fraction who have that money...if you aren't in a royal family, then you are a barber, taxi cab driver, what have you...YOU are not in the oil business...that's for sure. As for the Quran, it's just another book, but one that means something to them...and that is what that sniper forgot...I know for a FACT that the army has "Sensativity Training"...and he knew better...as a matter of fact, there's a regulation that deals with those types of things...and he'll be facing the music here soon at home...(He's already back in the US)...It is trully a shame that the main stream media doesn't cover all the GOOD that has come of this war...A Dictator gone, people free and now standing up to fight a common enemy. AQ in Iraq is a serious threat, but one that we are beating the holy you know what out of..gee...why don't you ever hear of that??? Also the schools being re-built...the water purification infrastructure being re-done...but all you hear about is "Limited Electricity"...does anyone here know WHY??? Because AQI shoots out the wires and transformers...not to mention the power workers on the poles who are trying to get things up and running and better...maybe if all you out there who THINK you know what's going on really knew what was going on, you'd be quiet...but alas...I doubt VERY seriouly, except for a small handful of people on this site, have ever been over in that neck of the woods...let alone been shot at there or anywhere...war does something to you...you ARE NOT the same upon returning (Just ask my wife)...but you canovercome it all. And another thing that annoys me, Muslims by their religion HAVE to give a certain amount of their earning to Charity; the vast majority of this is to Muslim charities of which I don't know any who actually help people who are not Muslims. How sick is that? oh and the odd amount goes willingly to funding terrorism of course.

Not really, you come live here and see how you feel in 5 years, luckily I live in the outskirts but having been attacked on several occassions in asian areas I really have no sympathy for any of them.
