There are over 1 BILLION muslims in the world, stuck in the middle of this chaos made by "POLITICAL" people.

I was corrolating what someone else said about muslims having to give to muslim charity and it only serves muslims.

I have shown the same is true for jewish charities.

I just picked jewish because it is something I know. I'm sure there are other religious charities that only cater to their religion.

I watched the videos you listed. Kiddie prostitution seems to be a big problem there. The pimps were described as "Asian gangs". No other description that I caught. Do you have any further info on this?

The cops didn't seem to take this problem very seriously.

I think the enitre point of this has been missed and blown out of proportion. Yes there are extremists, yes they do bad things. Here is the problem with the news item. Some guy shooting up the Muslim holy book is not going to make the extremists and the radicals hate Americans even more. It is going to prove to the moderates of the society that the extremists and the radicals are right, that the west hates muslims. THAT is the group that you need to be worried about. Without the support of the moderate muslim commnuity and their own dislike for the radicals, the west will never gain the foothold they need to bring about change.

If I was a moderate muslim, that went out did my work, came home, enjoyed my family time, lived a very normal life, and happened to see the amount of vitriol spewed forth by some of the people here I would be astonished. It would not take much more convincing to believe that people in the West hated Muslims. If you want to be objective about it read back through this thread and replace Muslim or Arab, or one of the derogatory remarks made, with American, or Christian. There is no difference between the sewage that spills out of their mouths or yours.

Yes but he is an extremist, who is involved with politics etc not a normal muslim. There is a difference.

Your assumption is that by being nice the Islamic Caliphate will go away. You are doing nothing more than appeasing in my opinion and giving new life and hope to those who wish us harm. I think you are confusing individual and national politics though. I have said that individually nobody is to blame. But a group can’t be held to judgement in singles.

Is Islam a real threat? No, i do not believe that it is. It is no more of a threat than any other religion. What the people do with it however is a different story. Everyone has their own interpretation of their religion. Most baptist people are fairly calm and reasonable, then you have the nutter group that protests at soldier funerals and thinks God is getting revenge on everyone because he hates gays. Would you say as a Christian that these people are representative of your religion?

You say I am appeasing those who WISH to do you harm. Guess what? Americans are over there CAUSING harm. I am not appeasing anything. I can't stand extremists of any faith or creed. That includes nationalists and imperialists. America's Army is in THEIR country, how can it some as a shock that there might be people there who are upset about this? Extremist is a word put in place for the PC folks out there that are too sensitive. The root base of Islam is much different then Muslim. As a matter of fact in the Koran it says if your Muslim brother dosent believe in Islam you must kill him or convert him. Big diff here. Also 99% is Muslims are Islamic.
