Every time i click on "my pictures" from the "member tools" menu i get (kicked) to here -> media.abovetopsecret.com...&message=1
And when I log in, nothing happens. I tried it with firefox and iron, same problem.

rather than starting a new thread, ATS is very slow loading pics.


started yesterday, the printed words are ok just all the pics won't show.


i ran a virus scan and defragged.

you guys doing some work on the site or is it my pc?

every place else is normal.

I've been having the same problems with slow loading or even nonloading graphics intermittently today. Maybe something to do with phasing in the new look for the site?

Hi Admins/Mods,

Has ATS changed it's images or something? From last 2-3 days ATS is not loading properly for me. Many images such as Icons, Section Tags, Few User Avatars are not loading at all.
I have taken some screen shots to show:
This is How it show on Thread- Notice Interprid's Avator is not showing

This is how it show on My ATS - Notice the continous progress bar and no icons of sections are showing

This is how it shown on Board Home - Notice there is no icon for different sections among other images.


The loading progress show in ATS screen shots goes on for 20-25 mins and even after that no image shows. I have cleared my cache/cookies and history but the problem still persists. I have visited other websites and they are working normal for me. Has there been any changes made regarding to 2010 theme in the last 2-3 days? How can I resolve this issue? Thanx.

Edit to add: I use ATS on Firefox.

Anyway that's odd because it seems to be working perfectly fine for me.

Although I do remember reading that some members have had problems as well with certain things not loading properly or things loading very very slowly.

But I'm using firefox and it's working fine for me right now.

Yes I think so too and mentioned it in my previous post. If now with few changes if they have already occurred it's like this then it will be more problematic once everything is changed.

I use Opera, Firefox and Internet Explorer 7, and everything looks normal.

Did you changed anything in your browser?

Where are you located?

It's possible that your ISP (or some other "up stream" source from you) is having trouble connecting to our CDN (content delivery network). All our images and videos are hosted on the high-performance SoftLayer CDN. There has been spotty reports of access trouble in the past for some locations in Europe.

If/when this happens again, if you know how to run a traceroute from your computer (not via a web site), run one to ---> files.abovetopsecret.com

Wow' it's working again. After putting up the post only in a gap of 1-2 hr the images started loading properly. I didn't do anything now S.O and ArMaP I made no changes previously. Everything is working fine now as earlier. However, if this problem does occur again I will try the trace route as you mentioned and report back here. Thank you very much for the help all
