My apologese if this has been brought to your attention already.

There is a thread Link here and below that I think needs to be brought to your attention.
Mainly for reasons of the possible danger to some members of ATS and the possible connection (Wrongly so) to ATS that the media would love.

The last few posts in the thread have set the alarm bells ringing,more so than earlier on.

I have made a couple of posts myself within the thread as have followed it from the beginning and have seen the classic recruiting style.Mainly aimed at the vulnerable.
Things have moved on a bit further and now I and I'm sure others do think your knowledge/opinion/help is needed.

How do I embed an image that is large so that it won't get cut off. I have seen big images embedded with bars around them, that you can move to see the rest of the image. How do I do this? Thanks!

I'm still having major password problems. This has been going on for weeks.

I still can't get into my pictures or anything else to do with media.

I've changed my password multiple times, tried to log back in, etc...

If I'm doing something wrong, then I can't work out what it is.

Does one of the mods have a minute or 2 to help me out?

Just use the exact same password that you use to log into ATS

That's what I've been doing.

I just tried again & it still didn't work. The usual message came up telling me I must be logged in.

Well, I am not sure if this has been brought up yet. But I can't see any of the members avatars, nor there contribution levels (or) ranks...i.e. bronze, silver, gold etc...

Also, several links in the navigation bar menu are missing...?

I will try logging in with a different web browser, just to see if that is the case.

I've noticed that when a user adds another to his foe list, a U2U is sent out to that user.

Would it be possible for an automatic u2u to be sent out when a user adds another to the "friends list" as well?

Is there any reasons why it doesn't?

Okay, so let's pretend that I was never locked out of my u2u accessibility.

I can always switch browsers when I log in to read my u2u's, but then explain why just now when I logged in on firefox and attempted to send a u2u I was given the flood control notice?

Geez, how underhanded............I am not apologizing this time...........

It is not my PC, I have a lock out here and it is real obvious.

Was I that much of a threat? I would think not..................

Yet I am censored in the way that cut me out............U2U's, obviously my favorite thing here at ATS............

Why do you treat your members this way?

Oh, and I expect a response from SO saying how I am paranoid and to check my cookies and caches.............Whatever.............

I hope your site is better without me, cause I am better without you...........

Did you try waiting a few seconds and resending the message?

It was the only U2U I sent........

I am well aware of the normal time delay............

so can someone tell me why the avatar wont come up for me??? if so plz send a u2u

No I didn't and that is because I already log in occasionally using firefox as I always have and if I have u2u's I have to log out and log into IE then come back and access the U2u's.

So when I came in on firefox and attempted to send a u2u instead of accessing one then I wasn't surprised that I couldn't send it.

But for sh...and giggles I will go back and retry to send one.
