i agree with everything you said.

An awakening. What is an awakening? Is it the realization of ONENESS and the beauty of the universe. Is it realizing that God is in you and you are in God? Is it the dispelling of duality?

How can one come to this true "born again" state where the past "ego driven" you starts to live God's will and is one with all things?

Perhaps one way is to live it, assume that you have already attained that state, and become it.

Will Oprah bring wisdom of awakening to people? I think she is showing people the door.

I think people who are so tenuous in their own faith that the words or beliefs of another should intimidate or fluster them ought to seriously reconsider their ATS membership. We are about Denying Ignorance, which means you sometimes have to be willing to suspend your own preconceived notions in order to fully understand the truth. To learn of and understand other ideologies but still hold to your own belief system can only serve to strengthen your faith.

I say good for Oprah. At least she has the pretense of caring about the spiritual development of her fellow man - that's more than most people.

I've got to agree with GreeneyedLeo. As a male BlueeyedScorpio/Sag cusp, I am highly critical of this self-awakening thing and the Age of Aquarius bit.

Is her leadership to this "awakening" gonna improve the economy, repair our thin military, defeat fanatacism Worldwide, and bring in a true golden age? If so, how? If anyone has read the book, "Nothing in this book is True, But its Exactly How Things Are" by: Bob Frissel It talks about the awakening of human consciousness and its say that the process is going to start with a Woman, im a guy but id say hell with it and jump on the awakening band wagon, but i hope it is not Oprah, personally.

Its all the same...been around forever. But since it obviously isnt working, they have to keep creating new packaing for it to hopefully lure in new people.
