Soon U.S. Citizens Must Ask for Government Permission to Fly or Travel

www.blacklistednews.com

The Department of Homeland Security's Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is moving forward to institute a rule that would require all passengers to go through a government review process before boarding any airplane that takes off or lands anywhere with in the United States.

The U.S. government already requires international passengers to participate in the Advanced Passenger Information System, providing their full name, gender, date of birth, nationality, country of residence, and travel document type and number to the TSA before boarding. Under the proposed Secure Flight Program, this procedure would also be required on domestic flights.

This is just going waaayyy overboard if you ask me!

So, when "Homeland Security" finally gets this in place, if you live in Florida and you want to visit your parents who live in Arizona, you will have to get "permission" from the government to fly out there to see them!

That's just ridiculous!

The USA use to be the land of the free!

Reminds me those those movies about Nazi Germany and the old USSR, "Do you have travel papers?"

Only here in the good 'ole USA, the land of the free, they will be asking, "Do you have permission to fly?"

Big Brother being implemented little by little?

[EDIT] I guess they won't be asking if you have permission to fly, but asking, "Do you have your Travel Document?"

Soon you'll have to get clearance to drive your car out of state I'll bet. Then we will really know that none of this had anything to do with our "safety."

Please let's not give them anymore ideas. OMG. Communism here it come's.

Honestly, once again I see this as another step toward's making one take a mark upon them or the chip in them to do or buy or sell anything. Just like it was written about over 2000 years ago. And, people want to say it's not true. Yet, it's happening right in front of their eyes.

You in the USA need to vote in a President and a Congress that will abolish your Department of Fatherland Security.

McCain, Obama, and Clinton are not the ones to even think of doing that. I don't know Nader's current position, but I suspect he is more likely to try to eliminate governmental excesses in the realm of civil liberties.

Then there is Ron Paul who, if the media weren't controlled by Murdoch and Ilk, would be well on his way to the White House. And we know he'd bring down the whole monstrosity.

Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty? Just in my 38 years we have firmly left that behind and now we have to prove we are innocent in order to enjoy the same freedoms we used to have.

Now we have to have our names bumped up against a terrorist name list in order to "prove" we're not suspected of being a terrorist. We have to take off our shoes in order to "prove" we're not packing explosives, etc.

It's ridiculous that this country has turned this direction and shame on every person who is so dang fearful that they helped to hand MY rights and freedoms away and continue to support those actions. If you're afraid to fly becuase someone may be a terrorist on the plane with you or that someone may have plastic explosives in their shoes, drive your car. It's assanine to turn this country into a police state (dang near there) and forego all of premise that this country was founded on just so people feel "safe".

Papers please!!!!!!

The American Gestapo, I mean Homeland security is helping the government to make the US become a totalitarian rule under the umbrella of national security and for the good of the people, that is the sole reason that this present administration was very fast in creating the new American Gestapo office, I mean the home land security.

Still people doesn't get it.

Don't tell us Americans what to do!! Its our country and we don't need advise from you on how to run it. Your making a big deal about nothing and they will not allow anything to slow down flights.

How so?

Still looks just as alarming ,you still need government permission to fly, and for each individual flight no less.

If speaking their mind means throwing more unnecessary hate into the world. Your posts are dripping with venom and none of us can see why.

One should not be so weak minded.

Hate is a sign of a weak mind, a scared heart and a sick soul.

You ever hear the one about the log, the splinter, and the eyes?
