Well its not a sunroof. It was to heavy steel doors that opened from the inside and out to the sides. When the gun shots happen she ducks down but not far and fast enough. When the bomb detonates from the left side of the van the roof doors slams shut and drills her in the head. That is what they were saying today in the press meeting with the Pakistani doctors and investigators.

Oh, well, then... it was just an accident. Then we really can trust the current government... in fact, we should trust them so much that we should voluntarily permit Musharraf to have full martial control over the entire country...

... COME ON!
Who do they think they are fooling here? An accident? Since when did a bullet and a bomb constitute an accident?

The fact that Musharraf is trying to twist the story prints "guilty" all over his party.

I would have hesitated to believe Musharraf was behind this, if he hadn't started to lie about the events. Now it's clear the government was behind this.

I don't buy it.

Neither do I. I think the govt in Pakistan is trying to cover it's butt and say that she died by 'accident' so that the world won't be pointing it's collective finger at it saying it was their fault for not providing security.

She died from the gunshot wound to the neck and chest.

She didn't die by hitting her head on the car.

The blast slamed the heavy steel door on her head mainly the large steel handle is what killed her.

The TV news says that the Pakistani govt is claiming ... that she hit her head as she ducked into the car when she heard gun shots. I just saw the 'press conference' from Pakistan (5 min ago).

Some idiot over there (one of Musharifs men) is trying to make us all believe that she died from 'infection' from hitting her head as she ducked.

geeeeeeeeeze .... :shk:

That is the kind of garbage you get on TV. I watched the conference live today on the net at lunch and they said just what I just told you.

I believe you Sky Watcher. I'm sure you are reporting what you heard.
I just don't believe THEM. I don't buy, for one minute, anything 'they' say.

Pay no attentiontion to the MSM behind the curtain!

This is nothing more than a ploy by the Al Quaeda sympathisers to call it an accident.

So can this be best described as an accidental assasination or an assasination malfunction?

Regardless, this is from the same people that have trying to say all along that Al Quaeda is not a threat. Well now that they have been proven wrong they are pulling strings to undo what has been done.

I think it's safe to assume members of Al Quaeda are now desperate.

That would be the worlds deadliest infective agent. So virulent and effective. It kills in less than 2 hours? HAHAHAHA. What an ignorant and lame excuse. She died of an infection, not blood loss from a gunshot wound or from head trauma. So what are they saying? She was deathly ill before this and it was all timing?
It still bothers me that they did not preform an autopsy right away.

Al Q? This was clearly not Al Q.

Take a step back for a moment... who is Al Q's better target? A potential future president? Or the guy who was willing to enact martial law to attack terrorists better?

If they were to attack ANYONE in Pakistan, it would have been Musharraf... not Bhutto.

Why would they attack the one person who is trying to get rid of Musharraf, a number one enemy of Al Q? They wouldn't.

Granted, they use desperate means, but they're much smarter than to kill the enemy of their enemy.

Musharraf has been looking for a way to get rid of her for a long time. He's the desperate one, willing to put the country under lockdown just to maintain control... He's the one you should be watching carefully.

ice bullets are nothing more than a myth. the heat and force from firing the bullet turns it into nothing more than a spray of water, and there is not enough weight in an ice bullet when compared to lead. Ice is also brittle.

back OT, this definately stinks of disinfo or at the very least muddying the waters.
what we need is a bystander or local reporter to come forward and tell us what they saw/heard. One has to ask why there are so many different accounts of what happened and if theres different accounts which one is the truth?

Whether accidental or not, that's what violence does to you.

But again, this could be a very well covered up news.

I'm not necessarily convinced Musharaaf had much to do with this. One thing is certain, he and Bhutto were not allies, but, as I stated earlier, Musharaaf isn't the biggest anti-democracy proponent in Pakistan. any ruling out of Al-Qaeda or some other terrorist group would be beyond naive, in my honest opinion.

That's what I tend to think as well. As I stated at the beginning of the thread, this seems to be nothing more than apologetics for a group of people that should be wiped from the face of the earth.. ""Accident" my ass.

This al-Qaida stuff is getting old. All the major news feeds are offering up al-Qaida as the suspects. No proof of ANYTHING just speculation. I really don't know who these folks are nor do I care. My only regret is they weren't around when I was in high school. My dog ate my homework thing was getting kinda thin.

Who then do you suggest did it? Oh, yeah, "America did it." Oh, no, I have a better one, "Bush did it and the guy that we saw on the news giving his condolences to Pakistan and Bhutto's family was really a clone of Bush." Am I close? Come on!!!
