I hear ya on UN...I can't say they ever have been..I just don't want it to be the US. Consider Al Queda and alledgedly Bin Laden are there now.. Maybe going to make a move to get Pakistan's nuclear weopons.

I doubt being a women had much to do with it given that she'd previously held power in that country on two different occasions before being removed over corruption charges.

She also went to one of the "oxbridge" colleges which is traditionally where most of the MI5 / MI6 operatives were recruited from.

This isn't so unbelievable. And it certainly doesn't change this from an assassination to anything else. The person shooting at her knew that his actions would most likely cause her death. Just because it results in a different manner than intended doesn't change its effect. What is the problem here, exactly?

Oxbridge being a combination of the the Ox from Oxford and the bridge from Cambridge.

Well it would appear that Pakistan has it's own smaller version
of our 9/11. Also it is also suspicious that Bhutto's husband
does not want an autopsy. And without an autopsy then
what evidence do they have that blunt trauma caused
her death ?? No autopsy requested is suspicious on it's
own. What man does not want to know how his wife died ??

finding out the truth. If they covered it up as good as they
did 9/11 then it will take years or decades to find out the
truth. As our 9/11 happened 6 years ago and we still don't
know the whole truth. There is a cover-up there else why
the changing of the story 3 times. Seems like that also
happened on 9/11 with us when the FBI said there were
bombs then it was retracted. Then there were vans with bombs
and then that was retracted. Then it was the fuel fire which stuck
as more plausible. There is a method to the madness. It is right
in front of our nose. People just don't want to believe it or accept
it as it would be too painful. So they ignore it which is just what
the culprits want. Sad times on the earth right now. Outlook is very
bleak.

I'm not sure if I agree with the idea this is their 9-11. I would say it's more like their Kennedy Assassination. All you need for a working conspiracy is the idea man, a money man and a patsy (to be killed or commit suicide after the fact). Where a 9-11 conspiracy would require a ton of people on board, this could easily been 4-5 people.

There is broadcast video available, all the way up to about 30 seconds before the event. There had to be many other angles available as well. This event was covered from beginning to almost the end..but not all the way to the end.

There has to be video lurking out there..

I hope the video is released soon. Or at least more pictures before it all took place.

I was looking around for witness testimony and found this. The best info will be from the Driver and Backseat bodyguards, who spent time carrying for her on the way to the hospital.

The witness, a leader of Bhutto's party, says Bhutto was inside the SUV and was leaving a campaign rally when some young supporters began chanting slogans. He says he saw a smiling Bhutto emerge through the vehicle's sunroof.

So, she was standing on the seat with up to her chest hanging out the sunroof and tried to get back in the Bulletproof SUV quickly. Ducking down back in the cabin she hit something.

A party activist says leader's body was covered with a white sheet and her neck was bandaged.

Hmm why cover her neck if she was not shot.

Does anyone know what kind of Bulletproof SUV she had? I would like to find out what company may have built the bulletproof version, and I cannot find any pictures of the SUV. I want to see this sunroof lever.

So, first I heard she was shot twice with a 7.62 round (AK).
Then, we hear it was a semi-automatic pistol, in the chest and neck- We're shown the pistol, guy blows himself up, no damage to the gun, seemingly little if not any blood on the gun- Despite all the blood around it.
Now, she wasn't shot at all? Not even hit with shrapnel?
It was, infact hitting her head, and fracturing her skull that killed her?
That sums it all up, right?
Doesn't the constant confliction of stories seem incredibley, off?
Also, did you notice she was killed by "Terror" and that even though it may seem like only Bhutto was targeted, it was actually "An attack on democracy."
Pretty convenient.
I guess it doesn't matter who done what- The country is certainly in for some tough times ahead.

At least CNN is acknowledging the inconsistency in the reporting. They are saying it is due to people trying to deny her a "Martyr" status, which makes sense.

Nothing definitive that I've seen.

One video that comes close is on CNN.

It shows Bhutto, then she goes out of frame just as the shooting starts. Oddly the video centers on one of her bodyguards? on the van she's in, and highlights his hands, which maybe shows him holding/shooting a pistol. Maybe not.

Its not clear at all.

Thanks man. Sorry for the bad link, but if it is the same video, the gun is pretty clear. They show it multiple times and slow it down.

It looks like it may be a gun, and it may have even been discharged, but I can't tell for sure. Its not clear to me.

Maybe somebody can enhance it?

Like Gil Grissom in CSI says, if the death is caused in the commission of a felony than its considered MURDER!
