I don't know what you are looking for as evidence of Jesus or God or the second coming, but most likely your imagination has concocted images of what the "end times" are supposed to be like and so far it hasn't happened yet. I am just saying it probably won't happen the way you are expecting or the way any other modern man expects it to happen.

I just want to make sure you are aware of some of these things. There was a time when I tempted God by asking him to prove his existance via magic...like making a bird swoop in front of me or having something apear to me. Then I found that the Bible doesn't want us to do these things, needless to say I don't tempt or put God to the test anymore.

Sadie, you can do as you wish.. However, I think it's important to look for the divine in the small things because that is where it lies... To look for some massive event that is somehow going to shake the world is in vain in my honest opinion. God's plan will be fulfilled in pieces...

Really Ridiculous! I hope you spend as much time attacking the pope, the churches, or any TV evangelist as you do some anonymous poster in a site dedicated to strange ideas. If I was looking for attention, I would include my name in my post.

We have individual Supernatural encounter and events, but one on a mass scale is rare. Most people, when they think of the "end times," they think that it is something that is going to happen instantaneously... When in fact, it is something that happens over a period of seven years...

It seems you’re trying to advise me to pray in private. I’ve prayed in private my whole life. I‘ve been trampled on by millions of Christian who race to Sunday church where they beat their chest like proud celebrities. I’m just one anonymous person, I don‘t think those passages you supplied me apply as much to me as those who make a living doing it.

If as you say the lord comes as a thief in the night, how do we know much of the seven years are not over?

Well, Sadie, there will be a period when the world will obviously be in crisis... That period will actually only be three and a half years because the one world ruler, you probably refer to him as the anti-Christ, will only become beligerant in the second half of his rule.

Once this mad man is put down, then you will know that the seven year period is over.

Much of what you say with such confidence is also open to broad interpretation. If this ruler was so obvious, he wouldn’t trick so many. For all we know he could be in his second term as president.

By the time he suffers the fatal wound to the head, and starts to persecute those who reject his policies, "He will be drunk on the blood of the saints," it will be apparent as to who the guy is.

I am totally astonished that some here seem to know the mind of God based on THEIR interpretation of the Bible.

The arrogance is truly amazing.

BTW, am I allowed to interpret the Bible as I see fit or should I defer to others?

I’m not saying I believe it is Bush, but I think it’s presumptuous of you to say with such conviction that it isn’t Bush. I don’t know, you don’t know, no one knows. If we did we wouldn’t get tricked. All I know is that I'm praying for a sign in the sky, and or for the return of Christ, and only god knows when he's coming back. So it's worth the prayer.

Oh well.... :shk: Sadie, best wishes... First of all, there are certain personality traits that Bush just does not fit..

The anti-Christ, according to the book of Daniel will have a "Fierce Countenance." In other words, he will have an angry appearance. He will look perpetually angry. Secondly, he will be "without regard for women." Most likely he will be celibate, perhaps a former monk? Bush doesn't fit either characteristic.
