And what makes you think its the UN? Does it say anywhere in the Bible that the 8th King is the UN?

Oh boy.....if only the banning of religion could become fact.......I would rejoice.
I cannot believe some of the responses this has received.'surely the UN don't have the power'.....'I don't belive this could voted in'. etc.
What a bunch of idiots,to think it could be the case.....unfortunately.
I am not an atheist.......I am a realist.Religion is rubbish:people that are religious are simply afraid of dying......it will still happen and there is nothing else after that.

this account is almost identical to the vision in daniel regarding beasts. the beast comes out of the sea, usually some mutant that bears the traits of the kingdom it represents.

this beast is definitely political as it matched all the parallels with daniel. the difference is that it bears 7 heads with 10 separate crowns, meaning it likely represents a composite.

this leopard colored beast while similiar to the scarlet colored wildbeast in form, however they are not the same beast) as ill explain later.

this leopard has seven heads. from the time after noah´s day to john´s day there have been 6 states that persecuted or conquered god´s people.

egypt, assyria, babylon, medo-persia, greece, and rome. john was told that a 7th would appear later (rev 17:9,10) probably the anglo-american empire

the eight king is "OF" these seven kingdoms. so its likely that this eight king is some sort of composite of the worlds kingdoms. (verse 11)

the beast that was, is not, and yet is. what political composite fits that decription?

after world war 1, the league of nations was formed. much like the UN, it was a composite of the worlds governments. but it was immediately disbanded when world war 2 broke out. so it literally "was" and "is not"

but after ww2, it was reformed into the UN. basically the same organization but with a different name. "yet is"

the harlot is seen riding it, possibly thinking it could control it. in other threads ive shown how false religion fits the description of the harlot perfectly.

is it any wonder that the vatican has a "holy see" station at the UN? that the worlds religions are constantly meddling in the UN's affairs?

What about Germany in WW2 and the holocaust? That would be a country that didn't exist at the time and fits the description. Or is your point of view that Germany was part of Rome, since Italy was allied with them etc?

I'm pretty open about peoples views on revelation. I just always seen the 2 beasts going at different times, and you have 1 beast as always there.

Also, about it being there but not being there, couldn't that kind of refer to a shadow type government as well? A hidden agenda of sorts, which is known to those with wisdom, but is considered crazy in the mainstream?

Generally, when it comes to revelations I mostly just look at the actions and such and stay on guard against those, but I do enjoy hearing how people view it as playing out on the world stage.

This is PROTECTION of religion. UN has voted to PROTECT religion.

i would say no, because germany is one nation and i dont think it can be the 8th king because the 8th king is ¨from¨the other 7.

this leads me to believe that the 7 headed beasts are actually groupings of nations, not individual nations.

the 8th king is likely the same.

as you were...

Even if they ban religion it will not stop religion people are still going to practice their beliefs. I for one would be more dedicated to my religion if they banned religion. It would only help solidify the prophecies in the bible.
