There is a distinct and significant government/scientific/NatSec presence in the environs surrounding Ghost's point of interface.

This is beyond the mundane and usual hoaxes I have witnessed over the past 20 years, there are some very interesting domains that have had incredible spikes of presence on ATS since this thread started as well.

All of this could be coincidental and certainly is NOT proof of anything one way or the other, but it is pertinent and intersting data and it's always "all about the data".

schuylar, I understand your desire to analyze the story. But we regularly speak ill on these threads for the government using whatever means available to obtain information.

Are you suggesting that because this could be an important story, the end justifies the means? By that logic, G'tmo and a bit of torture is OK too, as long as someone decides it is worth lowering standards for.

I for one will exit this forum ASAP if the staff gives in to such a request. When I joined it was with the tacit understanding that no one would use information obtained against me in any manner. If they would out part of some person's info to satisfy your whim for immediate gratification, then I nor anyone else could feel that our info was safe.

Im not making a judgment on this story on way or the other but its one thing to come on forum and perpetrate a hoax but its all together different when perpetrating a hoax you are also committing a felony.

If this is even remotely true then this would be the biggest scoop in the history of the entire world! Surely if this is indeed a tippin off of a 'false flag' event then we can expect this website to become a household name come August.

Springer, always the safe middle there. Good points, without compromising the confidence we have in this site. Thank you for keeping the standards up.

Also, it is interesting that "activity" is up from interesting places. Methinks we're being watched. Could it be some of those trying to make this story go away?

I'll hold judgment on that part, but I always expect it.

Oh, don't start! Comparing G'tmo to my request (which has been granted) is a ridiculous leap of logic. Next you'll be accusing me of supporting the Holocaust. If you don't have the data, you can't move forward. This has nothing to do with torture, which, if it saves lives, I'm fine with. Now that we know there is a significant national security presence in the area where GhostRaven posts, my question has been answered. We can move on. It's a point in his favor.

after what springer said, i've definately changed my opinion. Now I'm not saying he's definately telling the truth. However, I've always felt something big coming... maybe this is the start of it? I mean we've gone through 30 pages or so, and usually the hoaxer would already be caught. However, the evidence shows so far that it's more likely that he is telling the truth rather than lying.

if any of you have ever run/moderated a website, you know what hes talking about. i forget the name of the IP tracker i used but it certainly divulges information like this on a dime.

Thank you for posting this information, it sways me towards the plausability of this scenario.

excuse me, but did i miss something? ip-sniffing? well i think GR will not be happy to hear / read about that... thought he wanted to stay anonymous at all costs...

There is the possiblity that someone in power is researching how useful this site would be for this type of operation in the future. I am still not sure it is time for the 'big' one yet.

If I am to believe this then I want to know more about the "mass disapearance" that is planned.

That phrase implies that people are not just going to get nuked or something, but that people are going to either be rounded up or killed and disapear. I want to know something more specific regarding this. Because if I remain alert and if what the original poster said is the truth, if we all see evidence in late July/early August that our poster was telling the truth then it would be really really helpful to have a little more info on the next step.

schuylar, I never compared you to torturing anyone. I doubt you are in a position to put the screws to the staff.

I was pointing out that obtaining information outside of the normal paths leads to abuse in any system.

And I am glad that your question could be answered in a way that did not give any personal info on the poster. I am satisfied that the answer given by springer does not violate any trust, and that was my only concern.

Yes, this info does lend weight to his story. Yet, I am not convinced, for there must be millions of people who live in such an area that have no connection whatsoever to the government.

It is all still in the air as far as I feel.

- By telling us what will happen, don't you think this could change the original plan and they will not do the show?

- How does the USA / Army think such a 'war' works? And who will pay for it? How do they want to finance a war that cost's 20 aircraft for 1 ufo. What's the benefit they promise themself out of this?
And how do they want to convince this 20 pilots to fly suicide missions?

Wouldn't it be better and more 'rentable' for this 'people' to simple tell the truth and find a solution with everyone on the planet?

hmm one final and most importand question .. when you are so sure about this happening...

How or what do you think will prevent them execuiting such an insane betrayal on humanity?

Anyone whose has been around this forum or another for 5 years most likely knows about IP addressing and what can and cannot be found out.

Springer's post gives me some rather bad feelings now. It could turn out badly, particularly if he is only a kid, or a college student pretending, since it is a federal offence, and while he's not specifcally stated he's an Agent, he apparently works above State lines, and I'm sure in today's climate, the law wouldn't be so much on his side, and he'd be getting some anal probing from Bob at the Federal Hilton faster than Paris can make a new video.

I only hope for his sake he is telling the truth, because to have made it up and then possibly to be caught in today's world of 'enemy combatant status for criminals we don't like', particularly if there is indeed a similar plot by the government, well, I just wouldn't wan to be his sphincter I can tell you.
