To justify eventually spending trillions of dollars on space

Does no one else find it odd that he included all this personal info? Why would he do that? Some might say it gives him a sense of "reality" to us, but the fact is, this info has no bearing on what is supposedly being disclosed.

He's adding details to throw the Fed Agents off the scent. This part of things would have to be disinformation. It is not aimed at ATS because we have nothing we could do with that information.

My respect for this guy is growing. He uses a forum that he knows is watched, and provides clues to someone he's not. He posts at random times so there is no pattern and uses IPs that can't easily come back to him. He doesn't load himself up with documents that would pose even more of a risk, and which would be shot down whether true or not.

We can't even be sure which branch of government he's with, as his self protection campaign could have made him put a disinfo spin there to.

But his time frame is so close that he can't run this for long. And that is truly odd. As is the "interest" this thread seemed to be spiking with certain domains that are not usually active.

Yep, I'll keep watching this thread. My flag goes on it.

To everyone that thinks he's revealed his identity with the little tidbits of details he's provided so far..... think again. Perhaps he is posting as someone else with someone else's details within the same or similar organization, effectively exposing another OP so that anyone looking for him might be fooled to believe it is actually someone else.

Then again, all of it could be BS.

another possibility is that after nothing happens in august, ghostraven may say that he delayed the plans, and that they may happen at a later date when the story dies out. Either way I'm on vacation late July, so I'll keep an eye out for any strange lights from Orlando, FL... if this whole thing is true, pictures will flood this site.

If that's true and it's not some compulsion to blab then the OP will need to be dropping clues about a real person who he is effectively hanging out to dry as a cold trail won't work in this case. If he's that callous then that hardly fosters any respect from my camp.

Word for word, it is the scenario being outlined by the OP. Now, is this the source or a coincidental bit of information?

Once again sorry if that was someone else, but if not whats with the change of heart nothings changed since the post was made. The second we start hearing reports of increased sightings, lights in the sky etc then by all means worry!

Oh and we should start seeing who else is forecasting doom for August.

No, to be serious, he could be DisInfoing us on his persona, which is why he had given us so much actual information on himself, his wearabouts and past history, and his clearance that he could be framing a colleague.

I hate to think it but, the sorts of people who occasionally get into the 'real' government are probably the sort of person who would throw their colleagues to the wolves for a promotion. He could be assuming the identity of someone else just to get them killed, or maybe it is the person he pretends to be that is having an affair, with possibly his wife? I'm speculating, but its nasty if that is true.

Lets be honest, he has given us no more or less than anything we barely need to know to keep us and maybe his associates interested in the thread. He has not answered ANY questions asked on what events will occur, timeframes in detail, etc which he would know and be able to suggest to us means and ways of saving others and would, given that he works as a team, be also attributable to the other members, and if as we are lead to believe, are supportive would probably back him in giving us this small concession of information.

If he doesn't answer anything of importance (safe places, what the aliens will look like, what major areas to avoid, possible play-outs of the scenarios, i.e. will Washinton end up under siege and therefore be a sensible place to stay away from, will certain towns be taken into 'protective custody' or be involved with the battles that they end up in those internment camps, will people visiting the US during this time be vulnerable to incarceration or get forced into things they would probably rather avoid).

There are so many things he SHOULD know and COULD answer that his repeated "well I can't answer everyone" and his repeated rehashing of his life story is starting to seem a bit hoax/social experiment gone awry. If he meant it as a joke or as a social experiment, he may well have incriminated himself legally and have to face the consequences, particularly if there are people now viewing this thread in the actual know.

I don't get the impression that GR is in any position of authority that could delay or stop this from happening. He seems to be speaking from an analyst point of view (kind of like Red October, though he DID save the day!) and one who has been demoted, at that. He can't possibly be in a supervisory, action, or policy making role. I guess that begs the question, though. What can his posts here accomplish? I'd like to hear some thoughts on that. What if it's all true? What changes?

I have a problem with the so called media 'demonizing' aliens in movies and what not.

The problem I have is that most of the crap movies only made Aliens evil or bad.... I can name movies in which ETs or Aliens aren't really demonized at all:

Well Springer did confirm that where he is posting, its somehow connected to some type of government or NASA or something... shows some level of importance

i did believe it was a hoax, until springer came forth with his post.

Even if the aliens are supposedly "benign" or "indifferent," maybe it'd still be a good idea to fight them and stake out our territory as soon as possible to avoid future problems. It may make perfect sense from a strategic military standpoint. I say we be friendly to them at first, acquire as much of their technology as we can, and then start dealing with them on a more level political playing field.

Ugh, that is so messed up. So with your logic it would make sense to kill your next door neighbor even if they are nice and have never threatened you at all because they might do something later? And you're totally okay with being manipulated into thinking things that aren't true?

Agree with the poster who was complaining about people getting happy about this possibly happening and seeing it as entertainment. Hoping for mass murder and stuff is really twisted.
