Translation: "I have nothing to offer on this thread, have no idea what the cryptic characters are, couldn't translate a passage from Canadian to American English if I tried, and have no idea what those CGI drones are either. I am clueless, but I'll just call you ignorant so I can feel superior to you."

relax people, we don't need yoda there.

using nothing more than 10 mins of a giant supercomputer time i built in my basement, made out of ZS spectrums and sega master systems, (using code from sonic the hedgehog) i have managed to translate two sets of symbols.

The symbols actually read -

1. Made in China
2. This way up

This thread is for serious discussion and interpretation of the drone's text please lets stay focused as i think we are further along to solving this entire mess or at least pointing others in the right direction if we can find out what the hoaxer or the alien decided to stamp on the cgi/craft.

I may have an answer to the question you seek... or at least a lead. There is this guy, goes by the name of "Sleeper" and he has a thread where you can ask him anything, and he knows because he asks the Aliens straight up. I'm NOT joking. His thread is on the first page usually, and I haven't read it recently so I don't know if he's alreay talked about the drone, but I would seriously start there. That's my philosophy anyway, when you need info, try to get as close to the source as possible.

Good luck!

lol...sleeper. We are trying to PROVE or disprove a HOAX, not encourage more hoaxes. If you want science fiction (like the kind sleeper the writer spews) you should go to your local library or wait for his book release, if however you seek the truth visit ATS with an open yet skeptical mind.

pleyades do you have anything further to add to the conversation as *some of the font types do indeed line up. Also interesting to note that the script is the "language of the gods".. if this turns out to be an actual match to the text, then either the hoaxer has done extensive homework and has an almost academic approach to such subtlties as the cgi's text, or this is indeed alien writing that has cropped up in mankinds ancient texts throughout history.

Nope - sorry. Not Elohim - certainly not exclusive to any number of other glyphic texts already examined.

Sure, one might argue that a character here or there has a resemblance to some characters in Elohim (or Hebrew/Allah/Eloah/Illah - pick your flavor).

Sadly, until someone can come up with a breakthrough (meaning, *cough*cough*, a real, verifiable, credible, repeatable bit of analytic reasoning - not some vague 'vision'), we're currently "on hold", stagnant in the reluctant acceptance that this script is simply a fabrication, possibly aided by some digital algorithmic design, of a perpetrator with hoaxing or marketing intent.

Or it's alien (cue Outer Limits theme song).

So, egoistic platitudes aside, what we have so far is a little Katakana, a little Klingon, a little Enochian, a bit of Matrix, perhaps some Elohim if you wish (why not?). Then toss in some imagination, pour into a cool OTS software program, like Bit Fontamaker or FontLab (e.g., below), and stir. Voila! Spooky Alien writing!

Those who have seen some of the example I’ve posted in threads are already familiar with great source material examples. My personal favorite is leaning toward the video game/sci-fi media crowd, who have the resources, talent, and gumption to pull it off. Here’s a close example of writing that may look familiar to the “drone-ites”: For inspiration, scrutinize some of the many Anime comics/animations for a little bastardized ‘alien writing’, e.g.:

Curiously, some of the closest matches come from some of the “Transformers”-related anime sources. Could be just a coincidence, but when taken in context with some of the viral marketing discussion of this, and especially, some of the related c2c-drone ATS threads, it’s just possible there may be some connection (such as pilfered/acquired artistry, designers, software, etc.,).

OK – back to the drawing board…

It took a while but might have a hot lead as to the identity of this text. Check out these fonts...from of all places The Twilight Zone ...wish i had more fonts or examples of the Kanamit alien race's complete alphabet.
Also like i stated before i believe the fonts from Independance Day movie are rumored to be extremely similar as well, i just have no pictures for comparison.

wiki had this to say

A race of aliens known as the Kanamits land on Earth and promise to be nothing but helpful to the cause of humanity. Initially wary of the intentions of such a highly advanced race, even the most skeptical humans are convinced when their code-breakers begin to translate one of the Kanamit's books, with the seemingly innocuous title, "To Serve Man." Sharing their advanced technology, the aliens quickly solve all of Earth's greatest woes, eradicating hunger, disease, and the need for warfare. Soon, humans are volunteering for trips to the Kanamits' home planet, which is supposedly a paradise. All is not well, however, when a code-breaker discovers the Kanamits’ true intentions. Their book, "To Serve Man", is a cookbook.

I smell something fishy with this thread. Anyone else notice anything weird here?

Doesnt_know:

Fishy? What are you talking about? Care to elaborate? We're just trying to analyze the writing on the so-called "C2C drones" in an effort to determine it's source/authenticity.

I don't see anything "fishy" about that at all...

Here's more images of these weird craft. What's going on? Fakes, human probes, or alien probes?

classified, you ought to post these over on the c2c thread since this is for text deciphering. This craft is clearly not the same one we've seen before, unless the 'craft' can move its parts around. :-)

If this were to be proven real I'd guess that it's some sort of docking platform for the smaller ones, it looks like there's one docked in it. Maybe they'd switch different sets of blades for different purposes or something...

Wow, the new pictures look even cooler...

It still looks like CGI to me, except for the last out-of-focus picture.

And how many different people have reported seeing this thing?

As for the text deciphering, I think hii_98 did a great job finding the twilight zone text, I never would have thought of that. Is there a complete font library for that text somewhere on the web for a possible translation?

Visit this link for what the hoaxer likely patch worked several font styles from to develop his master alien text.

It`s a Katakana font. I see it every day.

The first one says either ハンリフ or ハソリフ . Tough call on the second kana, because they`re very close, and the resolution is a little low. in any case, that translates to hanrifu or hasorifu. Which means absolutely nothing to me, in either case. I`ve checked 6 dictionaries, but come up with zero.

The second one is upside down. Says メッソメフ, or possibly メ ンメフ or メ ソメフ
If the spot between the first and second large characters is a small TSU, then it reads "messomefu". If it`S a small circle (which it kind of looks like to me), then it`s either me (space) somefu or me (space) nmefu. None of which makes any sense to me.

The third one is where it gets fun, and where it makes me think someone just managed to have some fun with their new katakana stencil kit. It doesn`t make any sense, at least without peeling off some of the characters and putting them back on back to front. I can say with certainty that the characters are katakana, but they`ve been applied backwards and/or upside down.

それは私の意見です。
