I dont like the thought of russia going in but who could blame them?

They have deals with Iran. Do people really feel that the USA can cope with countys Russia and China protecting there interests, I dont have a clue what may or maynot happen, from what I am reading though it seem very dark for the future

people who think attackin Iran will be the same as Iraq... better think again.

Iran Has a huge military. and they're technology is just as advanced as ours.

Iran isnt a little country in the sand. its massive. and they can f*** the US up big time.

I agree I feel that Iran is underestimated with regards its military capabilty. Even though the USA technology is "better" Iraq surely has proved that a man or woman with detemination and an old AK47 can make things hard for them

Did the iranians think speaking thru Mexico would have a greater effect on American ears or are they there to entice Mexico over to their position?

The Iranians probably view the turmoil with the US - Mexico border as something they can exploit. Whip up some anti american sentiments and there will be 12 million trouble makers in place here.

Guess there is also the idea that we are stirring the middle east so they feel the need to stir the pot near the US.

Seems like the chessboard being moved again

That's funny and true.

Anyway I don't really think Iran has the backing of any country like (Russie or China) if they did, we would've already seen some sort mobilization from the troops of those countries over to Iran. As far as I'm concerned there's no other armies in iran besides their own. But I hate to be wrong.

Dont they have a deal with syria for defence, Maybe that helps them with arms. From what I have read Irans just fine at making its own stuff or by licence from other nations. I wonder if they have a cat in the bag somewhat?

When the soldiers on both sides raise white flags, have dinner together and shake hands on the battle field, no general, no God, and no president can ever give orders to mess things up in the world again.

It's the soldiers that fight, not those giving orders

US better not mess things up for themselves and the rest of us.

And what of Iran's responsibility in this affair.

There is a clear UN mandate for Iran to act. It refuses to do so!
Instead it supplies manpower and weapons to the insurgency in Irak.

Don't be to quick to blame one side over the other.

Congress will NOT block any serious attempt by Bush to declare war against Iran. The only thing that can stop him is to make a revolution or if the attack doesn't occur before the end of Bush's term, ELECT RON PAUL.

Israël should go alone, it's their problem if they get bombed after. It's their fault in a certain way, they have a secret nuclear program since the 60s.

And I agree with you, the Democrat congress is just doing things to keep the people calm and hopeful.

They are to follow the corporate agenda the same, Bush will finish his goal in the middle east before he leaves office he own that much to the war profeteers and the oil barons, occurs let not forget his duty to "Jesus land" I mean Israel.

It all depends on Israel really,

The new French President, Sarkozy, has said that the UN needs to take a tougher stand against Iran because of the threat to Israel. If the Iranians make a move against Israel, the European Union and America would go in to protect Israel (quite rightly too).

To me this interview with the Mexican TV channel is just more political maneuvering by the Iranians. All they have to do is say something about America attacking them, and everyone gets more mad at America for something it hasn't done yet and for all we know might never do. Really, good strategy on their part. Just keep talking about America attacking them and they don't have to fire a shot or risk anything. I mean, look at this thread, after 3~4 posts, it stopped being "Why did Iran make say this, what does it mean?" and is all lamenting about a US attack that hasn't happened (and hopefully won't happen). Seems like a successful political act for Iran to continue saying these things.

Iraq never attacked Israel, and I doub that Iran ever will, so for all I know the ones attacking first is the west. In reality WWIII doesn't really depend on Israel or Iran , it depends on the west, Great Britain, and The United States specially, but I'm not surprised since this two countries know how to make money, and they know that WAR is the most profitable way to make money, in conclusion the west is the one inciting WWIII.

Yeah but they deserved it after they bombed the nuclear reactor at Osiraq. Anyway, it's true that's the west who instigated almost everything since the beginning, Britain, US, France, Russia... imperialism... stupid thing.

Why not do imperialism by IDEAS and CULTURE? Hell, the US is doing well in that field, especially in Iran's youth, so why bombing them into submission if the cultural imperialism is working peacefully?
Money! Just wait for Iran, the youth will do a revolution one of these days.

Get the fark out of there, let them have the bomb if they want. But all this is due to meddling in their affairs for over 100 years, since oil mostly. But more agressively after WW2.

However I think the collapse of the dollar is what the Bush cartel wants so they can usher in the "Amero". So maybe bombing Iran causing China to dump their T-bonds is by design.

Who is going to buy China's $1.3 trillion in U.S T-Bonds?

And if China begins dumping their T-Bonds who do you think is going to suffer a financial loss on the $1.3 trillion in bonds China owns? If the bonds collapse, China will be hurt worse than anybody.

they did help to stop a nuclear program, so i don't think they "deserved it".

i think no matter what happens, its only a matter time before we deal with Iran. the western powers are likely to wait for the Iranian people to make a move, but if that fails, we shall probably move in.

I have read an article recently dealing with the war on Iran and I think everyone should take a look at it. You can consider/omit the exopolitic perspective but the hard facts remain the same.

The Canadian National Newspaper

Let me know what you think.

Actually,in the gulf war iraq sent scud missiles into israel in hopes of getting them involved. This is quite true and im sure the U.S. had a devil of a time holding the israelis back.Im fairly sure that if iran is attacked they would try the same tactic in the hope that with israel involved would bring other arab countries to fight along side it against them.
