Iran: US attack equals world war III

I know we will eventually find out for sure ... But as for now ... I am not sure ... Why you are questioning why we cannot fight everyones war for them ... But dangit if you come and attack America and try and take credit for it ... Garuntee we will be in your backard before morning the next day ... This is about our soldiers not about the BATTLE going on ... IT IS ABOUT OUR AMERICAN SOLDIERS/BROTHERS/Sisters overseas fighting these NO GOOD FOR NOTHING ... people that would attach a bomb to a 5 year old if it would take out one American ....

Lately there seems more going on in the area, reports that Syria is getting ready for a fight with Isreal. Still the chance of peace though? Is Isreal trying to do a deal with Syria to stop them helping Iran, The golan heights as reward?

Well I have found nothing else out, Iran seems to have made it past 7/7/7 though, thanks for all the input by you guys at ATS

I completely agree, I believe there have already been enough contries involved to consider this WW3 but just not declared WW3, soon though, soon....

Yea but has the U.S said another country should be wiped off the face of the map?Yes i know the us is far far from perfect,but a nuclear Iran would truly offset the ballance of power in the middle east.

Although i think its odd that we forcefully will stop Iran from developing nukes,even though Isreal has plenty of nukes(exact number unknown because they are only nation that does'nt have to announce how many they have,now the location or capabilities to produce mor by there facilities)

So to sum it up..should Isreal be allowed to mislead the rest of the world when every other country has to put out such details?? no

Should Iran have Nuclear weapons,and would they be a real threat? No they shouldnt have nukes because they would be a real threat..

So where do you go from there?

And yes i firmly believe WW3 has been in the works..even if China and russia dont back iran with troops,im sure weapons and money will be flowing..

But we also have to consider this,the US is already stretched very very thin,a war with Iran would lead to being even more stretched out and pre occupied,Via Iran launshing missiles at our troops in Iraq(because we will not put soldiers on the ground in Iran it just wont happen)..So now we must consider the motives of other huge countries to become the worlds Number one power...
If i wanted to take out the us id support iran behind the scenes in the a war with US anmd most likely Isreal.Meanwhile I'd be planning my own strikes against U.S targets(Mainly any form of defence such as missiles or sams) I'd then take out sattelites as china has shown being able to do,

Suddenly were at war in three countries Iran Iraq Afgan,and now we have no radar or communications,then shlt hits the fan,then my trusty fleeets of newly upgraded chinese submarines would do their job while america was blind...

I believe that the US government is walking on egg shells with the US dollar so week and Iran wanting to trade oil on the Euro instead of the dollar. UN weapons inspectors say Iran is a long way from having nuclear capabilities for creating nuclear warheads. The big spin producing, lying, war mongering officials in the White House just want that oil traded on the dollar and are going to have to kill millions to achieve their goal, and you can bet that our big oil backed government see's dollars more important than lives.

I love my country! I love people of other nationalities, and I can't think of one good reason to hate, kill or invade another nation. But time and time again the US government has Allowed it's citizens to be attacked, created situations of false provoked attack, and lied repeatedly using the mass medias help to promote agendas that not only destroy our standard of living here at home, but abroad, and all around the world.
American people are very much to blame. We have a president who steals the right of congress to declare war. Congress is another big joke; having less of an approval rating than the president, which is also at an all time high for DISAPPROVAL! Not approval, and yet we just sit on our hands never taking to the streets, never marching on Washington, grabbing the beast by the throat and physically promoting change. We have become so used to being lied to that we now accept the lies as business as usual. It's time to do more than hold our government official accountable. When we do today, they get out with nothing but a slap on the hand, any normal citizen would be sitting in jail for the rest of our days, traded as cattle on the stock market. Enough is enough, America wake up! We will meet in the streets together! WE THE PEOPLE

wow, nice post OP. I wounder if we do attack Iran would we have a draft?? If so I was told that I might be part of the first ones to go. I talked to a guy that's in the military and explained how they select people for a draft from the drafting list.

I was called after I graduated from high school by a marine recruiter. They asked me many questions about my health my weight and many other stuff.

He wanted me to take a trip to the base to see it. So I said I will be their even though I didn't plan to which I didn't show up.

they were also bugging men when I was in high school kept asking if I want to join.

So I am more interested in finding out if we will have a draft.

I was told no because we will do air attacks on Iran. I don't agree. I know most of the attacks would be air strikes but I do know that they had to still do ground missions.

and since we are spreading into different parts of war it would make sense to have a draft.
