Has anyone here on ATS ever actually seen a UFO?

I'm in my late twentys and have never seen anything out of the ordinary in the skies. I'm on ATS and am interested in UFO's but I have never seen one.

Who here among us has actually seen a UFO and what is your story. I would like to hear about your sightings.

I thought I saw one the other day, but I'm sure it was nothing. Especially since it was brioad daylight in the middle of Manhatten. It looked like a silver mylar balloon slowly moving across the sky.

When I was a child in the early 80's I saw one while in a car, it was flying low, about 100 feet above the car. It was shaped like the bottom of the space shuttle and was white.
The second was in 2001 in NJ it was a white sphere that hovered for 20 min about 500 feet up and then slowly went up and away.

What were you feeling at the time? What were your thoughts when you saw the second sighting?

One time flying from Albuquerque to Oakland I saw a UFO. It was probably somewhere over New Mexico. I watched a solid red light pretty far away near the horizon moving around in all kinds of crazy ways. It definitely was not a plane, because I have never seen any plane move like that. This was in 1998.

Im in my early 40's and have seen quite a few UFO's but sadly nothing rock solid to confirm it was Alien but very odd none the less.

No I wasn't really freaking out. I was flying by myself, everyone else were strangers so I just sat quietly watching in awe. I looked around a few times to see if anyone else was looking or something, but decided not to say anything for some reason because I wasn't even sure what I was looking at lol.

So I watched it dance around in the sky until we flew far enough away so that I couldn't see it anymore. The whole time I was thinking things like "This can't be real, wtf is that? Maybe I'm dreaming or something or maybe someone slipped something in my drink." lol, But I was 100% awake and sober just watching this red ball of light.

Who knows what it was though. Maybe a government craft? Maybe an ET craft? Maybe some kind of light phenomenon? Beats me...

Oh and one time back in 97-98 I was delivering pizza at night and I saw a bright object in the sky going back and forth. I watched it for about 20 minutes. I raced back to the pizza place going about 80 down a 35 mph road so I could tell everyone. Once I got there I still saw it and realized what it was. It was a plane that had lights on the bottom and was an advertsment for something. When I saw it for the first time I was so convinced it was real and freaked out. I relaized I from then I shouldn't jump to conclusions until I throughly investigate what I saw.

I am almost jealous of those who have seen something. I am always looking to the skies and ,.....nothing.

Yes my sighting was at night time.

I wasn't even looking for anything, probably just staring out the window or something. I started researching the UFO/Alien phenomenon probably in 1997, so when this sighting happened I was somewhat interested in the subject, but didn't really know much yet.

I just saw ufo again yesterday~ the color of the UFO is same as cloud~ speed is much much faster then the cloud beside~ it is my 6th time to see UFO

I've been on the lookout for ufos since I was about 10, but it took me 40 long years to finally see one.

5/26/00, 9:30 p.m.
I arrive home and exit my garage. As I walk towards my back door, I notice a group of lights approaching low over the treetops from the south. It is a perfect right-angle V shape, with 3 large florescent-hued lights evenly spaced down the length of each wing. It is approximately the size of a finger held at arm's length, yet despite its closeness, it is completely silent. It passes directly overhead, causing me to rotate 180 degrees to continue viewing as it flies out of sight to the north. Duration approximately 30 seconds.

~ five minutes later ~

From the east over the treetops an identical craft approaches, almost overhead but slightly to the south so that I turn from east, to south, to west while viewing it. As it approaches, I note that one wing is longer that the other, having 4 lights, not 3. As it begins to reach its closest point, I see that the 4th light is a different color and is not connected to the craft. It is a bright ball of light, matching perfectly distance and speed of the V-shaped craft, flying just beside and behind one of its wings, giving the illusion of its being an extension of the wing when viewed from a distance. It too passes silently out of sight, this time into the west. Duration approximately 20 seconds.

What I've learned: if you have a dramatic sighting, don't expect any of your friends, coworkers or even family to share your excitement. You'll probably just get strange looks, as I did.

Well, yeah, I saw a blinking light around about noon in my backyard when I was 10 or so. So far I think it was a weather balloon but I don't have positive ID.

Or even someone who saw it with you still maintain it was a plane, even after... 14 years. That was in 1993. Me, my brother and a friend were camping by a lake in Bedfordshire. We saw 3 flashing lights in a triangular pattern. They seemed to be seperate objects, a great distance away, almost straight up. After a couple of minutes, maybe less all three lights stayed on then moved across the sky to the west at a ludicrous speed. When they moved, because they stayed in the exact same formation made it seem more as though they were part of the same thing. The speed though was incredible and was reached almost without seeming to accelerate if you know what I mean.

i have not personally have seen a ufo, but my dad said that he has. he said it looked like two coffee cups setting on top of one another, and it had some sort of light on it, and that it wasn't there for very long before it disappeared.

I have seen them quite a few times and the sightings are becoming more frequent.

I saw a big triangle ship fly real low overhead in the sky with 3 red lights
on the bottom not blinking, and it made no sound at all.

I have not only seen one multiple times, Ive also been on several.
