OMG----Mind control that started in the 50's. Wow, that was a long, long time ago. Surely they have perfected that by now.

I don’t know if its been mentioned or not yet, but I see that several folks have pointed out that this looks like a military trained person. One of the girls that was in the room where he was going in, and out shooting, described him as being an Asian male, wearing what looked like a boy scout uniform, and a black vest.

Doesn’t the Chinese military have a khaki uniform that looks like a boy scout uniform?

I'm thinking this almost like a sick version of the bourne identity or something similar. I'm convinced this was not some sicko who snapped. The attack on Virginia Tech was a planned, covert tactical assault on a unsecured, scared, innocent populace.

Need we forget how VT is a perfect place to launch an urban assult? It's a densely populated area with over 26,000 people coming and going daily. This REEKS of some sort of planned assault. I will not believe anything the mass media says unless it is atleast remotely close to what I'm thinking. I urge all of you on ATS to also keep an open mind before blindly accepting the "official" investigative reports and media reporting thats going on.

I also applaud those of you on the board who are quoting posts and informations from non-mass media reporting agencies. Bravo!

OMG, on CNN right now

AC is interviewing a kid right now who said what I said a while ago. he was 16 at the time and killed people and believed they were not going to die. He believed it was just like his video games he was playing. He said had someone just talked to him he wouldn't have done it. See what I mean.

This is exactly what I said back on page 23.

I have many good friends who went to Va Tech and I grew up not far from Blacksburg, and it is a sad evening for most. Today has been a horrific day for the residents of VA and the students, faculty and victims of the mass shootings. I have been watching the coverage since around 10am this morning EST and I am still trying to piece it all together. I just can't accept the story that this guy was a disgruntled engineering student who was angry at his girlfriend. This whole thing was colder, very calculating, well planned and designed for maximum death count. People who are emotionally distraught do not place chains on exit doors. When I found out the news that he was a Chinese national my heart sunk into my chest. Perhaps China is sending our government a statement? Perhaps this is payback for something that we are not aware of. Also consider this, out of the billions of people who live in China, many are devout practicing Muslims. If this tragedy isn't manipulated and played out to be a terrorist attack in the next several days I will be shocked. This could be an international incident of gigantic proportions when you consider that WWI was started over the assassination of just one diplomat. Best case scenario the media and the lib congress will use this attack as an excuse to throw the second amendment out the window. Welcome to the new world order everyone!!

Friends and countrymen, we are in the end of times, brace yourselves... for the worst is yet to come.

32 people killed, 15 injured.

If this is the death and injury toll, I'm confused. From what I heard, there were two people killed in a dorm early and then a classroom with 35 people in it was shot up in which 31 were killed. I know at least one of those thirty five was not injured, because they interviewed here on CNN. So even if the other 3 were injured, where did the other 12 come from on the injured list. Did he shoot up one of the other class rooms too. Or did he have a shoot out with the cops when they arrived and wounded some of them. I guess my point is that the math doesn't add up.

There is know way im gonna read all 450 replies on this thread, That is amazing 450 replies on something that happen this morning.

I gotta ask how is it possible that one man could kill 33 people, There is know way. Even if he lined the people up and shot them each once, like zeeon said the shooter is going to have to change clips.

A police officer said a .9mm and .22cal pistol was found at the scene. This shooting is terrible and I feel sick thinking about all the parents who lost a child from it.

But without a doubt, the shooter is not some crazy lunatic. This guy knew exactly what he was doing. Of course he had it planned, but this guy could also shoot very very efficiently.

what is purpose of the Chinese government?

If he is a military trained Asian, most likely he is from Taiwan or South Korea, to my knowledge, such Chinese were not allowed to go abroad without special permission. Most Chinese and Japanese don't have military experience.

Adults who can't distinguish between fantasy and reality have mental issues plain and simple. Small children have trouble with this because they are young and have a lot left to learn, but if your 20-something and can't tell that there is a big difference between what you do in World of Warcraft and the real world then you really should be seeing a doctor to get your head straight. Even at 16 its unacceptable to make the excuse that you thought it was just like a video game; If by that time your parents haven't set you straight on such things as fantasy and reality then not only have they failed miserably but you also are on the road to such a fate as well.

*note - the use of the word you in this post is not directed at anyone but at the theoretical person who cannot distinguish between the real world and fantasy.

Maybe nothing, but I'll put this in the "for what its worth" column for now...

Well, I'm screwed. They found a receipt in the gunman's pocket indicating that he bought the gun from me in March. ATF is at my shop right now. See you later, I'm on my way to the shop right now."

Call BS all you like, but I just spent the last several hours with 3 ATF agents. I saw the shooter's picture. I know his name and home address. I also know that he used a Glock 19 and a Walther P-22. The serial number was ground off the Glock. Why would he do that and still keep the receipt in his pocket from when he bought the gun? ATF told me that they are going to keep this low-key and not report this to the tv news. However, they cautioned that it will leak out eventually, and that I should be ready to deal with CNN, FOX, etc. My 32 camera surveillance system recorded the event 35 days ago. This is a digital system that only keeps the video for 35 days. We got lucky. By the way, the paperwork for Mr. *** was perfect, thank God."

Mr. *** had proof of Virginia residency, checkbook (for a second ID), and his green card(which is, of course, not green). That is all he needed to purchase a handgun.

oops, fogot one quote
Cool, I learned something before drudge then. As in the guys name. About your cameras ... are you saying you caught video of him or that you're lucky because it was deleted already?
We were able to burn a copy of him buying the gun.

Exactly, But for what ever reason, there is people out here in this world of ours. Who for what ever reason cannot or will not seperate the two.
Yes, those parents failed big time. But, in honesty there are so many people who are not "normal" the way they should be. Seeing this type of stuff makes it worse for them.

I can't help but think that if just one of these kids had a gun of his own, some of them may still be alive. This event is going to become the new battle cry for all the gun control advocates. I can see this going down much like what Mebourne described. I don't know that the government was behind it, but I do know that they will use it!

Basically, we cant put blame on video games, tv, movies, REAL EVERYDAY LIFE, other people, because when it comes down to it, its truly the person that is to blame. Maybe someone out there goes violent after watching a violent movie, so what, thats not the movies problem its that guys problem, hes just crazy.

Sadly to say, not all injuries have to come from shooting. Some of these were from people trying to escape and jumping out the 2nd+ floors. Not to say that other things don't add up, but this one has a simple explanation.

As a former resident of the town, which my family and many friends still reside, this whole incident is truly tragic. As of right now I am lucky enough that I don't know anyone involved, I am only afraid that that may change as more information is released.

As for the Alex Jones article, i have read his articles and only take them with a grain of salt, this just proves to me again how much fiction is thrown into his work. There are no loudspeakers installed around campus as he claims. In fact, the only way students and faculty WERE warned was by e-mail and phone lines. I truly doubt the whole character "Matt Kazee."

I have no problem questioning the official story as I don't think things quite add up either, but adding bits of fiction to adhere to his ideas discredits anything he says to people like me.

Phoenix,
Yes they are they crazy. However, giving people ideas is not good. Alot of this crap plants the seed in these crazy minds.

In the drugde report it said the shooter lined the students up against a wall and began shooting them execution style.

I cant except that, There is know way a human being can watch other people being shot and just wait for there turn. It is in a persons natural instinct to survive, no matter how scared you are. Whether or not you wanted to attack the shooter, out of reaction and terror someone would have lunged for the shooter.

Thats the thing. The "federal" government ("THE Government" we're all talking about) isn't running the case, the local state government is. Basically, even though this is a massacre, it's classified as murder, so it's a state matter. Feds can't take over, atleast not yet. Until then, they'll need federal approval to make a statement like that.
My feelings are, with the world political affairs the way they are, our federal government would jump at the opportunity to blame this on a terrorist....i'm betting it will come out as such in less than a week.

No the Feds are running this. Just found that out tonight.

Ok talked to the wife. She got in to work and they went to the counseling center to find out where they were needed. My wife went with her boss to the A-J dorm and to the floor that the first shooting took place. She said that they talked to the dean of students, I think that is what she said, on the same hallway that the shooting took place. At the time that was the most secure floor and staff was meeting there. They then left and went to Harper hall for their meeting. Once they arrived they had to leave the 2nd floor. The FBI (they had suits & ear pieces) came in and said that there was an "incident" on the 2nd floor and they needed to clear out. They went to another room on the first floor to discuss the procedures, plan out the week for the staff, and to talk to the other student staff (Dorm staff, RA, student advisers, etc.). While they were in their meeting FBI came back in and passed around a picture of a male. My wife does not remember much of the identity. The pic was more for the dorm staff and the RA than for the counseling staff. She did say that it was of a male with medium complexion, not black, not white, and not asian. She said more like indian/mid-eastern with short dark hair and brown eyes. No one knew the man but one of the RA was parking her car and was not present. The Feds waited until she returned and she knew the person. She started crying when she saw the pic. They then took her out of the room to talk to her. The woman came back in a little while later and would not talk about it. She has no idea of the significance of the person in the photo, but she thinks it was related to the “incident” on the 2nd floor, the RA who id the pic was an RA in Harper hall.
My wife said that there was no security outside of the A-J hall. The PD check point at Southgate and Spring Road did not even ask for ID. She was very nervous walking across campus. She did not see Norris hall, so she is guessing that all the cops/feds are there. Most of the staff, that she talked to, is pissed at the Admin about what has happened. They feel that the school has screwed up big time. She said that the Blacksburg PD is just running check points and that the Feds are doing the investigating. She is going in tomorrow from 7am -10pm. Since there is a convocation tomorrow, they are expecting a massive surge of grieving students to come into the counseling center.
