Question, WHY is the airport so dark?? or the surrounding areas??

Question, WHY is the airport so dark?? or the surrounding areas??
I'll toss in a bone on this one. Airports, unless they are absolutely immense, are not designed to be seen from ground level or even near ground level. They are designed that way to not create night time glare for drivers on roads, houses in nearby neighborhoods and to accentuate guide lights for pilots on approach. Sounds right, doesnt it?
I agree 100% with Defcon5. I have no doubt in my mind that what we are viewing is a night time video recording of aircraft coming in to land. As Defcon points out the runway lights are momentarily visible in the left of the frame when one plane is followed on its landing approach. Google Earth shows clearly a sizeable airfield right on the edge of the lake. The cameraman, I suggest, was about 50 miles away on the opposite shore (possibly the marina(?) near Talbot Trail)– hence the lack of engine noise. Atmospheric refraction and earth curvature probably plays some part in the visuals, to, ie distortion & colour change of the lights, the aircraft seeming low and the airfield seeming raised. I suspect also that the cameraman was at all times fully aware that the lights were aircraft. Stopping filming at crucial moments is often blamed on the ‘ufo’ bringing about electronic failure but in reality is a result of the object becoming clearly identifiable and the footage being rendered valueless. I'd rather not... really. I hope this is all that's needed.

If these are indeed airplanes landing or taking off from a nearby airport, then wouldn't you see them there all the time, both day and night?
Frozen, have you filmed from that same location during the day to see what else is flying there, if anything? Do planes fly at similar height from that location to possibly be the cause of what you filmed?
And if this is happening often, why not get a telescope to get a REAL look at them?

Just wondering if a guy like David Sereda honestly believes its not an airplane. Then he's either:
•1 Not as smart as he claims.
•2 just in it to make a quicker buck on his next video

why are so many people ignoring the most concrete post in this thread?

Having lived all of my life in Ohio and spending nearly all of my college years at the flats in Cleveland I can't believe people think these are real UFO's, but then again, it really doesn't shock me that much either. You can see these lights all day and all night over Lake Erie because they are airplanes.
but i guess the response will be "he must work for the government covering things up"

I think it depends on whether he knows there's an airport nearby or not. If he's aware of the airport, then I guess number 2 is the most likely choice.

5. And they were close, These craft were IN EASTLAKE over the lake, no sound, the closest airport again is Burke and that is in Cleveland, a half hour drive west.
