every superpower has its own reasons for why it will and have fallen...

Canada is not getting rid of their military, we just don't need to waste our money on massive military endeavors like the Iraq war because we are not afraid of terrorism here, like americans are...why?

Because we don't have a hundred and fifty page list of countries that hate us. We are fairly well liked globally, especially for our stance against the US war in Iraq.

I am proud of our government for actually believing in something and having the balls to stand up against a neighbour which constitutes 80% of our exports and say "no" we won't participate in your bogus war. That is what the Canadian people wanted and that's what our government did...that stands in stark contrast to how your politicians operate.

As for the legalizing pot...that is not what Canada is proposing at all. You should research first. We are looking to decriminalize it, which is not the same thing at all. posession of small amounts will still be a ticketable offence, but it will not warrant arrest and will not go on your criminal record. This will be a huge burden lifted from police shoulders.

The US will never fall. Yes there are many countries that would like to see us go but there isn't # they can do about it.

Everybody seems to forget that we have two big blue things on each side of us called oceans. No country will EVER be able to invate or set foot on US soil. We have soldiers placed around the world and may military installations. We control the skies, we control space, and we are taking over the worlds resources. Eventually the US will take over the world. We will also have the help of countries like Britian and Israel.

Its already begun, there is a nice oil line going right through afganastan. We secured Iraq's oil resources. We already have our hands in Kuait. Saudi Arabia is the last oil rich nation. Everybody already knows The Saudi Family and Daddy Bush + Bush JR have close ties.

Has anybody figured out the big picture yet?

This is not really a predictions. From history we can tell empires will fall, but America isn't really an empire if you compare them to the British or Roman Empire.

But the Americas capitalist empire will decline in time and the next super power will probably be the EU or China.

russian i have the idea that russia and europe are still 2 far apart, maybe we should put in a bit more effort to come closer. [not u and me:] Would be good for europe and russia...
