Couple of questions here..

Would someone please explain to me how the Hell Iran was going to make a decision about continuing to enrich uranium to having a fully functioning nuke ready with an appropriate delivery system...by midnight on the 22nd?

Would someone please explain to me why all the fuss on the Internet and especially here at ATS are so fanatic about waiting for or predicting the next doomsday? I thought the ATS crowd was more inteligent that that?

I see thread after thread about earthquakes tsunamis, WWIII, Aliens coming to wipe us out... etc etc etc...

If doomsday is coming in a week or by 2012, get off the damn computer and go live a little LOL... maybe build that bomb shelter you have always wanted so when the world ends you at least will survive... [ofcourse if nothing is left, you inherit a nuclear wasteland]

Oh and while your at it, would you mind signing over you worldly goods to me? I will take a date of say oh Jan 1, 2013... I mean afterall thats when everything will end so you won't need it right?

It would be a good thing if Iran dropped a nuke. Think about it... sure it would be bad for those under that nuke, but as they are fanatics you know they won't waste time building an arsenal, they would drop the first one they had...

The minute that happens we wouldn't need to worry about the UN or world sympathy or permission... we would have carte blanche to finish it once and for all...

Maybe thats what Bush wanted all along.... Maybe Armegadon is a local phenomena in the land that the Book was written in and about... mushroom clouds over burning oil feilds... sure sounds like a fiery picture from Hell to me..

just a heads up for people to be extra aware of all those upcoming news stories which may be overshadowed by other news stories over the next few weeks.

bush is going to be visiting iraq (story here for 20 days. this takes him out of the country for the 5th anniversary of sep 11th.

no doubt the news is going to be full of the following keywords... 911, terrorists, terrorism, freedom, iraq, al-qaeda, bin laden, freedom, 911, iran etc. so please be extra vigilant to the other stories that wont be making the headlines because they can be slipped by so easily whilst you are busy watching the monkey

im going to add something in here that will be worth watching out for in the future. i may even go as far as saying it is a prediction but this thread isnt in the predictions forum anymore. anyway, im going to say its very likely to happen at least.

there is a lot of news coverage at the moment regarding tony blair resigning (or not as the case seems to be) as prime minister. for those of you who arent aware of the long-held rumour, when the previous labour party leader john smith died (conveniently) of a heart attack, tony blair and gordon brown made a deal in a restaurant in islington called the granita pact (named after the restaurant). the deal was that gordon brown would stand aside and let tony blair take the position of leader of the opposition and that if they won the general election, blair would step down after a set amount of time and let gordon brown take the leadership. the price of the deal was for blair to stick to a fair and more socialist type of policy-making for the country.

however, it seems that mr blair is not willing to hand his power over to gordon brown as per the agreement and a movement has started to try and oust him.

now this is where i am going to say watch out for the very real possiblilty that...
gordon brown will die of 'natural causes' before the next election and that blair will agree to hand the party over to whoever is being 'groomed' behind the scenes to be his successor and to continue to follow policies more akin to the right-wing of the conservative party than the left or even middle of the 'labour party' (whatever it is they stand for now).

i say this because of the convenience of john smith dying of natural causes, because of robin cook dying of natural causes and because of david kelly who conveniently commited suicide, plus a few others. i think its worth watching out for.

well, blair has officially said he will step down within the next 12 months (but still hasnt set the date which he will do it). im still saying that gordon brown will not be his successor. watch out carefully for who is waiting in the wings.

Actually, with the Democratic Republic of the Congo in such disarray, and puportedly sending U to Iran, there may be action there.

With insurgents, freedom-fighters, militias, soldiers-for-hire, or whatever you want to call them civil wars can quickly spill over to other regions and provide an unstable environment. Which can then be used as training grounds for would be attackers. Look at Somalia.
