Why Islam is not a religion of peace.

While their culture is certainly different than ours and many of us have been saying for decades we westerners try and deal with them as we deal with fellow westerners mistakenly, the rhetoric is always of their religion. Through their religion they have declared war on the west. They did that years ago yet we didn't take them seriously until just recently. It isn't just the mid-east folks against the west, it appears that the muslims have a problem with their neighbors everywhere.
That'swhat happens when people follow a religion that forbids beer. Too stressed and irritable.

Arguments on religion basically never end good. And all this bashing on one religion that our govt has made us hate is wrong.
Islam is a religion of peace, and truthfully the majority of the poeple are extremely peaceful and just trying to get by in life like the rest of us. Everytime i hear something in the news ..they always try to brainwash our minds by adding something extra..and our brain reads it and puts that particular group of people as "bad"...get what im saying

As a matter of fact, the opposite is true. They go out of their way to omit any ties to Islam.
The Egyptian murderer who blew away Jews at the airport several weeks back? Swept away quickly, especially when it turned out that, yes, he was a Maulsim, and yes, he was hated Jews.
Muhammed Williams and his sidekick went on a shooting spree all over the country, a Muslim who hated the country and was a follower of the Nation of Islam (an irregular offshoot of Islam), and he is referred to as a former Army sergeant.

No, the only ones who seem bent on making Americans have a bad taste in their mouths over Islam is the Islamics. Not only those who carry out the violence throughout the world, but the "moderates who not only do not condemn it but support it.

Remember, even after the attacks several months ago and the attempted attacks since, it is not Americans that march in the streets carrying signs saying "Death to Islam", or burning the flags of Islamic nations or effigies of Islamic clergy or leaders.
