I'd like to see the page numbers (when you are in a forum looking through threads) on the bottom of the page. (They are just at the top now)

Nope, looking through threads, not looking though a thread.

An "Opt-Out" button for the mass u2u's sent by the Admins.

Especially the ones that direct me to a thread that is clearly visible anyway.



oh yeah, and maybe an "Official" continuation of the "ATS Game" that is on hold, as there has been a breakthrough in the previously unsolved riddle:

I like that idea. I think it would also because we would have less people posting the same pics and asking "is this real" We can refer the people to that thread first before they post anything they have come across

Hmm....I believe that just hasn't been coded in since the switch back to the "old" chat...maybe SO or someone could do that if they have time. It was pretty handy.

That's sooooo true.

There are some people you can be dying to chat with, and some people you'd rather avoid.

I'd also like to have my enemies crushed, see them driven before me, and to hear the lamentation of the women.

Maybe some sort of snack product too.

Suggestion

With the recent changes in MyATS, I was wondering if it would be better if the three domains had seperate MyATS type pages...

For instance a seperate MyBTS page for BTS only threads, MyATS for ATS only threads and MyAP for Above Poloitics of AbovePolitics only threads... So when you reply to a thread that is on the ATS board for instance, it will only show on MyATS, and not the other two. Or a thread in BTS will only show in MyBTS...

This would most likely reduce the number of forums that members would have on either of the three, thereby decreasing queries to the database...

This may help reduce some of the Database over head, if I am correct; instead of having all three boards lumped into MyATS.

Just curious to see if this would help, or even be possible.

Anyway, just throwing the idea out there.

Yes yes, I think someone just said it, but please put back the little list of who was in chat. That would be so convenient.

Best to be able to avoid certain folks sometimes, rather than be surprised by their presence and, well...conflicts arise that could have been avoided, you know.

I think it would be a good idea to modify the ribbon which is on top of the post you are typing. All you've gotta do is highlight the text with the mouse, and click the relevant buttons for formatting your message like in MS Word. Now one's gotta enter the text in a box. Why not directly?

A font color button could also be added. Colorful personalities like me would love to add some colour to posts - without hassles! which means just highlight the text, click the color you want, and hey presto!

Gmail has it. So why not ATS?

You know when you buy a custom title for your mini profile, you should be able to edit it without using 500 points each time. buy it once, then you have the ability to edit it. the little things are what make a big difference.

How about Chinese Chess--especially the half game of it. The half game is not available on the net and is, to me, more fun and easier to play--complex enough to be interesting but not so much of a complex challenge as to be hard work.

Threads get FLAGGED but not really RATED. How bout a SMOKING-GUN-O-METER

A GAUGE or METER where everyone can vote and even change their vote at a later time towards if they believe or not. I do design and could post examples if the idea is embraced at all.

it could be neat and blend in along side the FLAG button.

"meters" would just give a visual on how skeptical the thread is leaning. the meter would change when people view info that changes their minds.
3 pt rating system.

anon voting but limited to 1 per account but like i said, votes could be changed unlike flagging.

The display meter could have a 5 step visual representation such as Red to Green on a bar scale.. use the sirens like moods can be visualized etc.
