I have faith in me! therefore thats where i hold my belief in god.

The closer i got to god the closer i got to myself and vice versa!

The answers arent in any book or external belief system, all the answers lie within.

Perhaps not, kinglizard, but ...

I know God allowed me to return for some reason. I prey everyday that he will reveal his plan to me though I get the feeling that part of that plan is for me to share this story.

God is no longer an untouchable faith to me, he is real, real as you or me, I was in his presence. I feel so very blessed by this experience and am so thankful that I am able to share this story with you.

God bless you all…

... God is obviously central to the thread and with God come issues of faith and religion. I get the impression you want to limit discussion to a stroke fest where people are enraptured by your story and verbally pet you.

The entire nde experience is, for some, a validation of both the existence of God as well as a validation of Christianity as the religion of God. How are these issues not relevant to the thread you began? Why do you insist on limiting the discussion when God is not about limitation?

I think what KingLizard is looking for is things in relation to his experience. We have so many threads on the Faith and Conspiracies in Religion forums that go through all of these theological debates, with that being their purpose. The biggest would be The Anti-Christian Conspiracy, where the conversation revolves around a central theme of a concerted effort trying to silence Christianity with many, many theological matters challenged as reinforcement for belief for and against that conspiracy, as that was a key element of Christ's message.

Please, if you want to discuss theology and the (il)legitimacy of the Christian religion, do it there. If you want to talk about KingLizard's NDE, continue to post away.

Theological matters address all religions not just christianity, so pls quit playing the innocent victims.

Seattle is right end of, king lizard is just enjoying the verbal peting and resents any question of his claim and belief.

Just another typical case of sum1 wanting the desired positive but not the desired negative.

Oh no I know you di'ent!

Take look at the thread and ask yourself, is everyone keeping on topic or is there some thread-jacking and unprovoked God-bashing going on?
The answer is "yes". Kinglizard is sharing an experience. Ask questions, theorize but no sense in treating this like it's in the "Conspiracies in Relgion" section. Different ballgame. No conspiracy here unless you think KingLizard is ringmaster for one...which someone has already implied.

Everytime a person says God belongs to christianity, God kills a kitten.

The debate you guys had just made me think of how God is usually defined through christianity. How you think God is found through christianity, and through reading a book. This is not an insult to christianity, but people need to wake up and smell the roses, as God belongs to us all, and we all belong to God.

If you mean God was described by Christ (as Christ is in him), I think you're on to something. Else, that's not what Christianity is saying.

Who thinks that? This was not the case for me, and, you have had my testimony via U2U so I'm surprised to see this response.

This gives us the right to not listen to Him? That He will not punish those who do not?

I didn't say God was only found in the Bible, I said it was His book. That doesn't mean it is His only book, either.

God is omnipotent and omniscient. He is always and everywhere.

KL, where do you see yourself today in your walk with and faith in Christ as opposed to right after you came back? What are some areas you have grown stronger in, and what are some areas that you have started to backtrack in? Has the experience faded in its impact upon your spiritual life, or has it remained just as strong as the day you woke up?

I'm new to your story Kinglizard, thank-you for sharing that, it's inspiring.

In addition to the message of surviving the death of the body, we can be fore-warned that pneumonia often manifests as back pain, and demand x-rays in that case.

I wish I could have those experiances instead of the ones where demonic power is around me and something is always right next to me and hurting me 24/7 I hate it!

If you're serious about this statement, as one who has been there I'd be willing to help. Feel free to send U2U anytime. This wish can certainly be a reality.

Amazing story KingLizard. When my great grandmother died, she looked over my grans shoulder and said 'I see youve come back for me'. And that there were lovely white lilacs on the window sill. Why would she say that to my gran who was back and fore to see her all day everyday for weeks? And there were no flowers on the sill! She died not long after. I am convinced another relative, maybe her mother came back to get her.

I would like to ask if I could KingLizard, were you much of a religious man before this experience? And if not did you live in a Godly way or was you a bit of a nutter? I ask this to see if anyone can get to this place you seen. I sure hope so!!

Thanks for your reply.

I lost my faith for about 10+ years...about 4 years ago I found it again. Did I live in a Godly way....not as I should have, certainly I was/am a sinner.

I know you can get there if you put your faith in Jesus Christ....at least that's how I got there.
