hmmm, okay. Seeing how I want to believe and am willing to wait and see where this all ends up, I’ll forgo the goofy buzz words and odd times for updates, fishy as that still seems. I’m still not buying this as a legitimate way to “test the waters” as it were.

The bulk of the people chatting about this are ufo enthusiasts, be it pro or con… these people (us) cannot be considered a random sampling of the population by any stretch of the imagination. I doubt that our reaction to disclosure would be the “average” reaction….

And if we, the pro and con ufo nuts are supposed to be the ones “spreading the word”, are the religious, political, industrial, scientific, and joe blow mainstream communities actually going to listen to us? (Considering that they haven’t really listened to us much in the past…)

And if it really is just to test the waters, okay, then let’s just tell ‘em and get it over with.

I didn’t riot when they dropped planes in my back yard and killed thousands of my neighbors.

I didn’t riot when they randomly mailed me anthrax.

I didn’t riot over fishy election results.

I didn’t riot when there was a massive black out and I got stuck in a subway tunnel under a river.

World Peace? Galactic Harmony? Answers to age old questions???

You bet I’m gonna riot over that one! I’m gonna light my tail on fire and run naked in the streets singing China Cat Sunflower at the top of my lungs!! I’m gonna quit my job, cut the soles of the bottom of my shoes, climb a tree and learn to play the flute.

*rolls eyes*

If big brother says everything is cool, it’s just swamp gas, joe blow mainstream is still gonna go to work and buy big macs.

This is true, but if ET's consulted with us instead of government leaders shadow or not.
Then the masses might be enlightened, and want more than just big mac's

We could only hope!
Though unless their favorite anchor tells the story, Joe will still be upsizing.

It is an interesting thread, waiting for some pix for starters.
Sorry if slightly off,
I'm interested more in the supposed 'reaction' expected, whether certain types of reactions will alter the flow of information or the approach for disclosure for like minded believers or to Joe.

Will sites like this aid the process by providing stats etc - does every single post make a difference............

It will be a fascinating process, how the big D will play out - who's not to say it hasn't begun? Serpo and the likes could very well be trials, like some have mentioned.
So many ?'s.

back on..

One thing people... " testing the waters..." That would be like providing evidence or proof of UFOs not disclosing Above Top Secret UFO documents involving Humans visiting other Solar Systems.

This subject is attractive because there is a possibility that you are learning things before others learn it. That is not a valid reason to pay attention to this anonymous person.

Another thing is if this person should be telling the truth , then you have theoretically the rest of your life to learn about the Eben's, no need to cram it all into a couple of weeks.

This thread has already gone over 20 pages and I have not been made aware of any proof evidence or anything other than an "Anonymous" posting , just as the thread title implies.

I'm not just any person with an opinion , I'm a person that knows UFOs are real ... That had a Close Encounter with a UFO and I think if the U.S. Government wanted to test the " UFO waters " they would start by making UFO material available.

This entire discourse and " Disclosure " simply looks ,smells ,and feels like an attempt to "Alienate and Discredit " those interested in the Subject.

It happens to be a common ploy , to make you look and feel like a fool and thus causing you to abandon the Subject entirely.

Agreed. There is a chance that this is all government orchestrated in order to completely discredit this story and others!

Time will tell. Will we get the pictures? How long will it take? If they were promised you would think they had them available and ready...

Hmmmmm.......

They said we may have to wait till the first of the year? Why?

I recognize and respect everyone's right to question the method and motivations of Anonymous and Bill Ryan. I also understand and share the frustrations here about having to wait for more Serpo updates and of course the upcoming photos. But lately, there are a few posts on this thread that seem to be wondering aloud or venting frustration about the methodology used by Anonymous and Bill Ryan. That's understandable since they're promising us a "truth" that many of us have been searching and hoping for.

The reason that Anonymous and Bill Ryan have chosen their imperfect methods of disclosing the Serpo Project are two-fold: 1) They do not think exactly the same way as "you" because they are their own individual persons, have their own minds, think for themselves, and have their own points of view. 2) They are fallible, imperfect beings (possibly human beings, though I can't verify this.
). Please consider that just because someone acts or thinks differently than you isn't necessarily a valid reason to discount them as frauds or what they say as a hoax.

While we wait for the "truth" about the "truth" to be revealed about Project Serpo, may I suggest we work on a way to Deny Ignorance of our own thinking? I urge all of us to consider that each time we post on ATS and participate in a thread or discussion, it is a chance for us to practice and improve our own critical thinking, intellectual honesty, and fair-mindedness. When wondering why others think, believe or act the way they do, do you also stop to analyze yourself and your own bias, your own point of view? If you don't, you'll always be frustrated with other people.

"Why didn't Anonymous and Bill Ryan hire a professional public relations and marketing firm to instantly reveal Project Serpo in the most perfect way to the mainstream media and general public? Surely if they were credible they would do this, so therefore they must be frauds! Besides, I can take the full implications of Project Serpo in stride, so surely the general public can too!" That quote is a general purpose example of what I'm seeing lately on this thread. It could be summed up even more simply: "Why don't other people think the same way I do? Can't they see that I'm right?"

Also, if you really do have questions about the backgrounds and motivations of Anonymous and Bill Ryan, why not e-mail them on the Serpo Contact page? "Oh that won't work. They'll never respond." They'll never respond if you continue only wondering aloud on this thread. Besides that, I've e-mailed questions to Bill Ryan 5 times and he responded 4 (still waiting on the 5th). Nothing ground-breaking, I just had some questions for him.

Thirdly, and finally, a lot of times I see posts on this thread (and others on ATS) that pose questions but bring no evidence of supporting research with them. Wondering what kind of photo technology was available in the 1960s? Perhaps doing a few Google searches could do the trick. Can't remember the ending to Close Encounters of the Third Kind? Maybe go rent it and watch it.

That's it for my rant. If you're truly interested in Denying Ignorance, search Google and Amazon for "critical thinking" and "intellectual honesty". There is a great wealth of resources out there to help you, in the word of someone's awesome ATS signature "Load your head, before you shoot your mouth."

Hi,
I’m new at ATS and I have couple of questions regarding Serpo.org and other UFO sites.

Is it just me, or aliens really don’t know how to fly their crafts? They made their way to our planet (20 light years?) and then they crashed twice on our planet according to Serpo.org?

I don’t understand (sorry, I don’t speak very good English) that they crash-landed twice, but it does not tell if those UFOs are the same ones they used to fly from their home planet, or they had mothership and those were some sort of scouts/reckoning ships?

Another not so well explained thing is that they did not have full night on their home planet, even their planet is rotating around one of the suns and they have two suns. If you place two light bulbs and then rotate globe around one of them, there still will be dark side of globe when both suns are located on the same side of the globe.

And finally, regarding time on Eben, as many other already noticed it does not make any sense. I understand that on different systems, different species might measure time differently, but statement that they don’t measure the time tells us that they don’t have history, or that their history is incomplete as they can’t measure how long ago something happened.

If they post more about their energy source, details, sketches and observations I might consider believing to this story. Other then that it looks like average sci-fi novel.

Just my 2 cents.

To address your third point from a personal perspective, as you can see all I'm trying to find out is who is Bill Ryan ? why Bill Ryan ? What is his motivation? As you may or may not have read, I'm more than happy with I've found so far on the guy, but it's only posed more questions and that's for me to continue looking into and I'm just sharing what I find, not for self gratification, but because others are often able to "fill in the blanks". As for the main site itself, I do not even care for the content of Serpo, because that's subjective to both belief and perception of what's written - my personal belief is of no consequence to anyone here.

In closing, from your post, it would seem you are a victim of what you preach and most certainly what would seem your own pet hate/frustration.

And I dislike people who hide undertones of superiority in "nice" replies.

Edwin Herbert Land invented the polaroid camera in 1947 and introduced instant color photographs in 1963. from.... hicards.com...

and

The Polaroid camera is a classic example of this. Edwin Land, as has been reported, was a long time member of the intelligence community, where his area of expertise was electronic surveillance. Among other things, he played a key role on the U-2 spy plane project and presided over the Scientific Engineering Institute, a CIA front. (1) He is of course better known as the inventor of the famed camera.
The Polaroid was actually invented long before its debut on store shelves. It should be readily apparent to readers that this breakthrough technology - at a time when no one knew of its existence - would have been of enormous value to the spy-trade, which is precisely why the spooks utilized it for an untold number of years before it was 'reinvented' as a consumer product.

from here... davesweb.cnchost.com...

and

Edwin Land founded the Polaroid Corporation in 1937 where he adopted polarized materials for sunglasses, 3-D movies, and for other military use.

from here... www.newton.mec.edu...

and

During World War II he developed optical and other systems for military use and proposed the retinex theory for mechanism of color perception, in addition to creating cameras and films that gave instantaneous dry photographs in black and white and color.

from here... www.invent.org...

SO my statement saying that if the "TEAM" really existed and they really went to some planet, they most positively brought along a military polaroid camera.

and in regards to my assertion about the ending of CEIII please read the following

At the end of the film, the aliens take Neary on board their ship and take off for the stars. Many people believe that the aliens took Neary and a group of specially trained Astronauts aboard but this is incorrect - they only took Neary (Collection Edition)

from here... en.wikipedia.org...

Please refrain from such comments as you should do research, when clearly I already know what I am talking about, if you have any questions then maybe it is YOU who should research.

I'm surprised that we haven't, as of yet, actually discussed the material Anon has provided us with. We've spent a lot of time discussing whether it is real or not... but we haven't discussed the material itself.

Things I found striking about the story:

1.The Ebens didn't mind that the team killed the snake-like creature... but they were upset that the team used their .45s. Did they expect team members to wrestle the snake? Earlier, the Ebens used a sound beam to scare off an armidillo creature... perhaps they were upset the team used a physical weapon.

2.The Ebens seem to have gone out of their way to make the humans comfortable... building even extended sewage systems and factories for them.

3.The Ebens gave the team members complete freedom of movement... what does this say about the Ebens? Were they so trusting because they were secretly monitoring the humans?

4.Was Serpo a colony that was settled after the Eben homeworld was destroyed/made uninhabitable by volcanoes... or is it just one colony among many?

5.Could the Eben concept of time have been screwed up because they migrated to a binary star system? Or... do they, as conscious entities, merely perceive time differently?

OIMD.... good points. A few of them I've thought about...

3.The Ebens gave the team members complete freedom of movement... what does this say about the Ebens? Were they so trusting because they were secretly monitoring the humans?

Or that they had nothing to fear from them. While we could discuss the extent of Eben technology and why they likely had all sorts of means to monitor humans and defend themselves, imagine how they must have viewed us... what did they have to fear from our people?

5.Could the Eben concept of time have been screwed up because they migrated to a binary star system? Or... do they, as conscious entities, merely perceive time differently?

Have you ever sat by your computer writing a poignant reply on ATS, filled with tidbits of intellectual genius? You hit the send button, get up from your seat, and walk into the kitchen to get a well-deserved cup of coffee. Only, you get there and find out that three hours had passed, the coffee machine had long-since turned off, and you're left dumbfounded asking yourself, "where did the time go".

Now, imagine if you could control that.

Now, rather than try to equate that to the Ebens in any way, lets think about how our perception of time truly isn't based on the passing of discrete increments of units of time, such as seconds, minutes, or hours... our perception of time is based on the flow of events around us. Perhaps when you change the events that you're focusing on, you move around flows of time that aren't relevant to that event.

I have no idea what that means or whether it really makes sense... but it seems to be as far as I get when I try to imagine how the Ebens would perceive time.

3."The Ebens gave the team members complete freedom of movement... what does this say about the Ebens?"

Invert that thought and allow a dozen "Ebens" to roam freely around here. They wouldn't make it more than a couple of blocks, at least not in MY neighborhood.
Figure on an aircraft carrier the captain could ORDER his men not to whack the
"guests". If the "team members" had complete freedom of movement, those "Ebens"
are all under control. Maybe no free will.

enhancedesign thank you. You echoed a posting I made a day or so ago. We can't possibly know what is going on behind the scenes where all this Serpo information resides or the reasons that things are being done or not done in the manner in which they are. From some of the positings here it would seems people think that this guys is sitting on a trunk with 3,000 pages of material and is just releasing it in bits and pieces on a whim.

The impression that I get from reading the Anon postings is that there is some behind-the-scenes process of acquiring this material and others are making decisions as to what is being made available and when. We can't possibly know what is involved in this process. I also get the impression that these releases are not 'official' in nature but, instead, are happening because of some sort of internal cooperation. But not as a result of some officially sanctioned plan.

Again, we all need to wait and as enhancedesign points out, employ our best critical thinking. The pictures are unlikely to be the key to all this. Even if they appear to be authentic and are expertly verified as such there will still be other 'experts' who'll discredit them. It's always gone that way in the past.

I, for one, do not know why those in the military inteligence community haven't sought to stop this. Surely they know who "anon" us and his commrades. Why would they allow this to propogate? Disclosure has been so tightly kept for years, why now? Will they really allow pictures to be posted? Will we have to pay to see them?

My thinking is that someone would be after these guys to stop them. Surely these folks don't think they could get away with it. Although I do find the pages from the "manuals" interesting, although overly simplified in content.

I have a very good idea what is going on right now and I am asking all the serious people on ATS not to hit the Sepro.org website anymore for awhile.

I have currently came to the realization of why so much cross traffic between the two sites and think they are using the accumulated hits as some type of marketing data probably as a back up to the publishing house to show interest in the book deal.

There is either a book on UFO hysteria and the influence of digital media or simply another book being hashed around by the Doty clan.

I think the MOD's / ATS council should elect or appoint a research person who should update us if the website is updated and post the "new" information to ATS. Other then that I truely believe this spin up in interest is only generating a money making position by the "author" of the Sepro site or whatever book deal it is that they are working on.

I doubt we'll have to pay to see the "evidence", unless Billy Meiers is behind the release of information

But take a look back through this thread and find my earlier post on why disclosure may be ripe. It's certainly just an educated guess, but there's a lot of information to follow-up on and lays out where it appears the information is coming from.

In summary...

There is a group of former DIA officers.

One office has custody of the "Red Book" for Project Serpo. It's not clear whether he has access to it via official channels or he actually has it in an environment where he has free, unfettered access to the data. I suspect he does not and needs to clear each page with someone before releasing it. Any released information goes to Anonymous.

Anonymous then releases the information to Victor Martinez and his list (curious, but more on that later).

Victor sends the material to Bill Ryan for posting.

This leaves a lot of question as to how the original material from the Red Book is obtained and sent-out. The odd comment in the most recent posting about the special DIA military unit appears to be intended to make us believe that this material is still under the control of the DIA. We really don't know, and until we do it's hard to even speculate as to why there are such delays in releasing the photos.

Because they have to "generate" the photos in such a manner to make them the most believeable by the sharpest critics. Meaning they are going to sit back and take in all the responses then digest the information and "generate" the most plausible "photos" while leaving some things or details in the photo still open for interperatation. Thereby not have to have super detailed photos but ones that leave just the right amount of possibilities in them to make them 60/40 believable.

Social engineering at its finest

Given that this is a very real possibility, my question is why they didn't have this ready when they said they were going to release them? Or, more in keeping with someone who would purport to be a former high-level DIA officer, why not wait until they're ready and approved for release before even mentioning their existence?

Personally, I'm not so sure that if this is a hoax that it's all that good of one. If it's not a hoax, then the people who are initiating the release of information don't seem to be particularly well-prepared to do so in a manner that leaves little doubt of the authenticity of the data they're offering.

I've stated that one of my biggest initial problems with this story is the statement (allegedly by someone in the program) about the second crash site being found years later. If you want to see supporting evidence, then please visit the Case for Roswell threads I've authored, and you'll see that the evidence is strongly in support of full military knowledge of two sites during the time of the event, not a couple of years later. And, if this part of the story is a fabrication, then of course the rest is simply that much more suspect, especially given the citing of a movie ending and then extrapolating a likely fictional story from that springboard.

I sense another "Yahweh" moment.....
