well im just finding out that i could possible be an indigo child.
the other day i was talking to my friend and she brought up the topic..
so she was telling me all about it i was shocked she was telling me things that ive always believed and never thought to bring them up and when i did people thought i was crazy...
i cant agree with any religion i believe the world is soo much bigger then anyone wants except.. and ive known this girl for 6 years and never new she thought this way i fit most of the qualities does this make me an indigo child???

You sound like a normal person. Irrational, but normal.

I Since A Child Have Seen A Dark Spirit In The Home I Grew Up In And Also Have Something Touch Me As An Adult I Have experience Through Dreams Of Poeple Who Have Latered Died And The Othe Day I heard A Boom At 11:10am But noone Else Heard It Then To learn that we have lost a resident Who Had Fallen Do I Have A gift?

For everyone that says "everyone fits the characteristics," be advised, when discussing a very limited and like-minded group of people (set: people that search this site) it is very hard to extrapolate that to the rest of the population. This isn't to say that the whole indigo child thing is real, I am just asking everyone to take quick and uneducated rebuttals, as well as ignorant comments with a grain of salt.

To everyone that does believe in indigo children, I must admit that I also fit these characteristics, and literally every one of them. There is no reason to feel special or pat yourself on the back, you are either all extremely rare 25 year olds, or very common 8 year olds, good job.

I am an Indigo adult - was a misunderstood Indigo child - had my life ruined by others - what we have to do is hang in there - we are here for a reason - we are here to save others. (Although if you ask me, most of them are not worth saving, lol).

You think I LIKE being an Indigo.. let me tell you, it is painful being an Indigo, because we are also empaths - so we take the entire sufferiing of the planet on board....believe me, it is SO SO DIFFICULT - a lot of us have commmitted suicide because it is too hard, so tell me to get a life.

c'mon dude. no one ruins one's life expect oneself.

what comes to this indigo-stuff, i think it is all right to categorize personalities. there may be indigo chilrdren, but they are not more special than any other type of personality. we are all special unless we crave to be similar. and about 2012 i can only tell: we shall see.

Please do not believe any of this stuff about Indigo, gold or whatever aura color child or person......

It is all a fraud.

Take care of yourself and move on from this "indigo" child stuff, you'll only be better off.

I would think that a true indigo child would not have to receive direction from anyone. In fact I fear that the interference from others is an avenue for exploitation. I think that they should remove themselves from all negative earthly influences especially TV, video games and I-pods. I would think that they would have a strong connection with the earth and would be able to naturally tune into the earth’s voice. I think that they would eventually be able to recognize and communicate and synchronize with each other. I think that some of the characteristics that have been attributed to them are distortions. I don’t think you will be able to accurately identify an Indigo child that has had his communication channels blocked by negative frequencies or have been prevented from accessing its abilities. I don’t believe that they can be taught and attempts to do so would result in negative results. If Indigo children are real then more and more children will be born with these attributes and we will need every one of them. Was it not said that a little child will lead them. If all that is being predicted does come to pass we will need every child to be an Indigo child.

I am stumbling around on the net and i found this disscusion.
i am wondering if anyone would be able to help me?
My mind is so blocked and fogged up.
I was diagnosed with ADHD when i was a child and spent the majority of my life being numb and trying to function, when i wasn't on the medication however i was a free spirit, completly aware of who i was and my capabilities and i asn't prepared to have anyone try and get me down.
Teenage years were troublesome (i guess its the same for everyone) and i started getting into drugs, and after a while i kinda just stopped. I've been off drugs for over 8 months now yet just recently i have started to somewhat hallucinate.
The ground breathes, the sky warps, my eyes focus like a camera to everything and everything looks fake. the only thing i enjoy about it is that i can see peoples souls.
I am being told my doctors that i am in a psychosis and they want to put me on anti-psychotics, even though i'm completly against medications.
I'm finding life very hard to deal with, there are so many blockages and negativly energies around me, I suffer from many sensitives.
I am not comfortable with the diagnoses because i feel that they are medling with something they don't even know fully about. and that is always what the silly human race is doing.
I feel that i WAS an indigo child, and now as a young adult. i still am somewhere, i just have lost myself immensly.

I have no idea what to do or where to start with trying to get balanced and happy again, to understand what is actually going on and to stress less, and become myself again..

If anyone can help me, it'd be much appreciated.
i may have been a bit scattered with what i've been writing, but i hope it still says what i need it to say.

Fanaticism is never good. If the indigos are real, then show us on prime time. If it is a message for all, that concerns the fate of the planet, it needs to be conveyed on a grand scale. Levitate something, gather scientific proof maybe have witnesses that disagree with you. Group thinking, group hypnosis and group hallucination is not new to psychology.

I believe in the supernatural I believe there are things science cannot yet explain. I have had unexplainable things happen in my life and see truth in much of the discussions on indigoes and the phase shift. I've seen what they described as ghosts or angels and I've heard peoples thoughts, of course, I realize my perception and imagination might be the creator of these things.

However, once someone puts a name on it and starts talking about faith and adding a price, they are lairs and, if they are not, they are bastards. But most likely they are just caught up in their own delusion just like their followers.

Question things. Just because someone knows a lot does not mean they know everything. It they know answers, it is impossible for them to know them all. Let us remember

Answers to the riddles of life are in us. Look inside yourself. Unless you woke up one day and said, "I'm indigo...what's an indigo?" You probably are getting fed a line by someone whose selling a book or charges you money to listen to their ego driven ramblings. If it's real, other "indigos" would find you and you them, free of charge. Revolutions are not "Pay at the door" functions.

It's sad to fight the system and just create a new one. Change can't happen that way. I don't know it if ever can happen.

Convince me I'm wrong, please!!! I hope I am. But please provide some kind of tangible evidence, or just communicate with me telepathically or something. I'll be waiting.

Inidgo children are not special and it is not a birth right. It simply means that you are spiritually evolved.

I'm so happy I found this site. I have researched so much and found out this is exactly me; however, I found a way to fit in with others, but I never truly felt I was one of them. I get a long with people very well, but I also have such rage with stupid things people do.

I have experienced pyschic experiences, but i experienced them when I was closer to God. So, I don't feel it's against the religion. I'm trying to get closer to God again because I feel better about myself and also expand on my gift.

I feel there will be a lot of people out there who will classify themself as "indigo" just to feel of importance. It's hard to know who really is one and isn't. I wish they had a more specific detail that would show who is or isn't.

I think that is ignorant feedback that you have given, perhaps you are a little narrow-minded. I am an indigo child, 15 years old and think that what you said was stupid and ignorant, perhaps take a long look in the mirror and think about who you are to judge the scientists ect who have discovered this new found philosophy. Probably of whom, have solved the crisis of identity that many indigo children face. Don't give feedback unless you u-n-d-e-r-s-t-a-n-d

hi there, I have been told that I am an indigo and I don't know if I believe it but I feel really lost lately. I don't know where I belong anymore. I've been listening to music like lauryn hill's peace of mindi. and trying to go to bed without a feeling of contentment is the hardest part of the day. I googled where do indigo children belong and this came up so here I am. I don't know if I expect a response to this but I don't feel comfortable opening up to anyone else about this feeling I have to just run into somewhere independent simply because I don't think the people in my life quite understand.
