Am I an indigo Child I need answers help.

ok so..
i saw a psychic last night.
she did the card thing,
and it was really cool, but freaky how accurate.
i've always beleived in this sortof thing.
and always wanted to do it myself.
anyway, she told me that im an indigo child
and i also have healing powers.
i have felt as if this is true, just never knew what to call it.
but now i dont know what to do with myself now that i know.
everything is just coming together all at once
and i need help.
she did these little test, her sister who passed on and is now with her wherever she goes was trying to get my attention and see if i really could see her..
and i did.
theres so many things i want to learn about this.
can someone help me ?

You are not an indigo child. Why do you believe such nonsense? You must be a very, very gullible person, or you must have ridiculously low self-esteem to want to latch on to something to make you feel special.

Indigo kids don't exist - it's just a way for people to 'belong' to a group, and to feel special. Sorry to break it to you.

Many people match the description - that's why it's so popular. It makes a mass of people think they're a minority and 'special'. If they have low self-esteem, they will latch on to anything that makes them feel better. That is the essence of a vulnerable person. The same people who get eaten up by religion and other nonsense such as Scientology.

i never post on message boards but really..... its pretty hard to just sit back and watch all this ish go down. its so hard to explain. this whole argument is a macrocosm of what is happening right now.... forget about tsunamis and pole shifts of the earth and ish..... this is about a pole shift in consciousness. if everybody agreed on everything then there would be no point in us being here. we are supposed to learn that how ever much we may not be able to stand one another we just HAVE to work together or we will all die and it wont matter how it happens. That is largely our purpose because we cannot reach a higher purpose until we have learned this basic lesson. You will have positive + negative + u will fit into one category or the other... you will be a believer or a skeptic but unless you UNDERSTAND it doesnt matter which side of the fence you are on because it is all your own subjective opinion with maybe some outside experiences mixed in that you do cannot really explain. But you do not need to explain certain things because you can tell with your intuition that they are true... not OBVIOUS ... they are subtle... for sure some people just cant go there.
you need to try and UNDERSTAND that there is some major ish going down on this planet right now.....unexplainable things....... they are happening everywhere. if u havent been seeing 1:11, 2:22, 3:33 everywhere or experienced some sort of psychic phenomenon lately then i guess its hard for you to understand but maybe if you step back from your opinions and try to listen to your intuition you will sense something too because it is largely your opinions and your conditioning which hold you back from sensing the infinite... you could be infinite if you wanted to but you are either too scared or you are too comfortable in life to take a step back. but you will have to take a step back eventually anyway because even though you may be comfortable, many, many more people will suffer each day and it will be pretty hard to ignore when its in your own backyard. then you will have to make a choice and i feel sorry for you if you try to hang on to the ways of old because if you dont see the obvious signs yet, you will have a hard time coping with change which WILL happen regardless of Mayan prophecies and whatnot. Either we will be destroyed by ourselves or an outside threat. Many people are so detached from nature + so convinced that we must conquer it .... so afraid of it .... afraid of themselves that they deny that such a thing could happen and conveniently shove anything that suggests otherwise, anything that is outside of their comfort zone under the rug. that is fine. that is their JOB. but soon the polarities will converge ...... probably this will be painful .... whatever form it takes. But there ARE people who can see further then black + white, belief + disbelief, "right" + "wrong" and clearly it is their duty to make people see .... because then it will be easier for everyone.
As far as "indigo children" are concerned, they do and they do not exist. just like crop circles, there are real ones of unknown origin with a higher purpose + man made crop circles made with human motives in mind.
The indigo phenomenon probably is real in the sense that i know a child who can see auras. She can tell you things about yourself that you hide from yourself and mostly for that reason people deny such a thing. they simply do not want to admit their faults / problems to themselves because they would have to step outside of their comfort zone.
Then there is the whole cashing in on gullible people thing which is also clearly happening and it is sad...
but really it is your own fault if you buy into it because if your child REALLY was an indigo, they should have no trouble reading the aura of the people running the organization + telling you that they are crooks.

I have always figured the basic concept of indigo kids was a label, nothing 'magically bestowed on just a few' just an attempt by baby boomers to describe and understand the younger generations of today level of consciousness - our ability to see many perceptions and handle much info(put simply).

IMO the label was made by older generations who found their children had ways of thinking that they couldnt relate to and their kids werent so dependant on them as they were with their parents when they were kids.. the baby boomers had simpler ways of living than we do today.... they didnt question so much.

Its not a phenonomen its just evolution.

Ive seen many texts saying that indigo kids think they are royalty, are super sure of themselves, outspoken etc i dont think these are positive descriptions at all given the context i saw them written in.

baby boomers couldnt have strong personalities toward their elders and authority generally back then... it wasnt how it was done.
How many of the members here have parents of that age that dont question much of what they see around - what we all are questioning here on ATS for example.

We are all capable of the same things. however some of us are born with parametres wider in some areas ie mozart = music was 2nd nature to him. but we can all learn to read, play and write music.

Indigo Children or just Spoiled Over Indulged Brats of Spoiled Over Indulged Baby Boomers?

I am not joking. I have two children that would easily qualify categorically as Indigo Children and in both cases after a lot of thought I am certain they are just products of this higher tech lazier generation and certainly not more intelligent than previous generations. Both are Straight A Students but when I compare them to the bugs they are competing with, it is no wonder school is easy foer them.

Go ahead and think your special or that your child is special, now go out and do something real to prove it.

I seriously hope I am wrong about this and pretty much everything because as it stands, it really does look like man is the result of some kind of genetic manipulation by aliens that were looking for slave labor and worshippers; that all religions are manmade and we are not particularly special at all. Moreover, 2012 is going to roll around and nothing is going to happen except more people self serving, self deluded people on the planet eating each other.

Hi, I don`t know you people well yet but given time , i will. I found this out yesterday when i try to learning telepathy . I fit on almost all rainbow requirement and 75% of crystal and all of indigo child . I use to not like people until I know how people are , and how they act. I use to be dreaming about other person dreams or 21 12 2012 ( at least i think I did) . I like doing telepathy and electrokenisis ( controlling of eletricity) .I enjoy being diffenrent , I pitty other that are not having a good life as me . I sorry for them , My emotion`s are slowly fading away . Im currently 13 I learned aura this year to and i notice my aura was purple , blueish indigo like colour and also others colour under the blanket of indigo coloured aura . But still I still got problem with who i was before being reincarnated cause i dream about other npeople and about the future so im not sure which 1 am . So could anyone help me find who i was and help me find my fading emotions too.

Just for all you people out there... NOTING IS GOING TO HAPPEN IN 2012!!!!! It's just another idiotic doomsday theory in a line that has been around as long as intelligent life! BTW Indigo children are just "gifted" kids, I know, I was one in grade school and I am one now. The reason we hate school is because people shun us because we are overly intelligent. We learn differently so logically, we see things differently.

An intelligent person isn't necessarily gifted. That's just a perspective thing. In the schooling system this allows a smart child to be treated as royalty, expecting teachers to lay down a red carpet for them whenever they wish to enter a room. This is more irritating than anything. Not to mention, I thought ethereal things were beyond logic, and were more illogical if anything.

i know that i am an indigo child
i i have known that there had been something different about me compared to others. my best friend is an indigo as well. because o/f our childhood experiences we were very lucky to find each other. we definitely helped each other become stronger of our intuitions and psychic abilities . Its crazy and so beautiful, helping others who come into our lives. it always felt like they were sent to us from god. Spreading the word of consciousness is something that we are very drawn to. We have always had a dramatic yearning to help the world make a strong difference with our talents and our knowledge of healing . its so great to finally know now what it is that we are and why we were sent here and that there are others out there too. Although i have to say sometimes it is a challenge to overcome some of the emotions that occur but there are days when i have balance too. i want to get stronger in my abilities to help others more efficiently. how do i stay at a constant awareness and block all the un-necessary thoughts or feelings out to be able to hear my guides better, and know the differences between my thoughts and others?

Wow sounds more like an only child thing. I'm like that and I think it was because my parents generally spoke to me as an equal Therefore I think differently than most of my peers. I also only usually make really close friends with people like me. I have never heard this term before but I think you may have no brothers or sisters. Us only children are weird!

Hi...I resonated with your question.

I too believe that I might be an indigo...in fact I am quite sure. Although there are no "requirements" there are certain traits that tend to be present in many of the indigo's.

I have certain abilities. Most are great ones like: the ability "to see beyond"...see into other realms...Slight Telepathy...Passion and dedication to change the world. I use what I have (my abilities) for good!

The one that really sucks...or at least I have not found a way for this to be useful...I temporarily disable electronic equipment (Mostly TV's, VCR's, Lights and computers) when i am upset. I only need to touch the piece of equipment lightly and it will often crash. When i am upset My parents "ground me" from using electronics until I cool down.


I wish I knew what this whole INDIGO thing is about...or what is going on but I'd love anyone's opinion or information on the matter. please be kind it will jut create a better environment and... I'd appreciate it too.
