Yes. Now tell me the percentage of GDP spending per country?

We don't pay taxes on "percentage of GDP". We pay real cash. 😁

I think the US has enough toys to play with, we already spend to much on frivolous crap.

Who give a darn, is all about what our tax dollars are doing for NATO, without US funding it will be no nato.

Plain and simple.

Other than all the other countries that are in NATO.

So why do you want the rest of NATO to buy more?

OK.

Continue with your US centric isolationism.

Let me know how that works out for you.

You and those saying similar in this thread always seem to leave out the part about these longer range missiles being targeted and operated in all aspects, aside from hitting launch, by US servicemen. That puts us directly in the fight. What leg would we have to stand on if Russia...say...targets our satellites next...or maybe a few data uplink stations on the ground? Its not like we could say we aren't involved...

The guy in the video seems level headed, the woman is also fairly level headed although she does get a little enthused some times.

The professor in the video has analyzed the whole issue pretty well by my opinion. He is not interpreting things by opinion, he is properly assessing the start of the conflict properly and is sensible in his video. He is not a conspiracy theorist nor is he evaluating things based on his beliefs. I like that. Good video.

The west has been causing some problems for the security of his country and it was his job to protect the security of Russia....we would not let russia put nukes or large missiles in Cuba and if they did, we would respond the same way as he did. See what happens if Russia starts putting a nuclear base or missiles in cuba that could reach DC. I would expect our government to stop that action.

Some may have seen this, some may have not.

Seems to me this war didn't start in a vacuum.

And no, because someone wants to understand history, that doesn’t make them a Putin lover.

Both Putin and Zelenskyy are POS.

The US doesn't give 800 billion dollars to NATO.

This seems to be a confusing subject for a lot here. The US doesn't give other NATO nations money. The US has to spend more of its military budget to make up for the shortcomings of the other NATO nations. Also pretty sure we stock a lot of the munitions used across Europe in joint bases or just in our own bases...but for overall NATO use. So while we dont just give 800m or whatever the number is...we do spend it on behalf of NATO because the other countries spend less than the agreement stipulates.

But, Poland spends more than the US does based upon percentage of it's GDP, so, no?

It's a simple fact.

Speaking of isolating, I saw Poland is shooting and killing immigrants who illegally cross their border. I like it, but it doesn’t seem you would.
