It said that those drones fell.

Like I said, you can target military installations, but intercepting efforts can make the ordinance fall short. It’s an unfortunate part of war. It’s impossible to have 0% collateral damage.

I didn’t say it was right or wrong.

I just asked a simple question. A logical strategic question if I was in the Russian military and US ordnance was killing Russians in Russia. And I had IBCM’s in inventory.

In the context Russia does have intercontinental ballistic missiles. If Putin knows where the missiles killing Russians in Russian are being made, what just became a military target. By a country that has the means to launch an attack to take out those manufacturing centers.

That is reality.

I can’t find where they were fixed on military targets, can you prove they were?

Well since you cannot answer my questions accordingly, and that is not just a you problem Lazy88.

Ile attempt to address yours.

What good do you think launching an ICBM at anyone would achieve?

Because thats also a reality.

Putin nukes Ukraine or anyone else thats NATO in big time and for real, not just supplying ordinance and advice.

How would that help further his cause?

What does Putin win, or Russia for that matter, by chucking an ICBM out the pram?

The answer is nothing.

Now what does he lose?

The support of China for a start, and thats just the beginning of the problems that would ensue.

In September, a woman was killed in a drone attack that hit Ramenskoye. In May last year, two drones were destroyed near the Kremlin in central Moscow and there were several drone attacks on the Moscow City business district.

www.bbc.com...

Many military targets in the business district? Maybe a Russian false flag? But there is a pattern.

I did answer your question. You didn’t like the answer.

As far as ICBM’s?

Again. A reasonable strategy would be gaining air superiority over the Ukraine. Then work on taking out and intercepting arms shipments into the country.

How has gaining air superiority worked out for them so far?

I’m not sure if they were targeting the business district, or if those were shot down and hit there.

I haven’t tried to say that there would be no collateral damage. My point was that my guess would be they would use western missiles to target military exclusively. If they don’t, the west will certainly change the rules for Ukraine.

If they truly wanted to target civilians, they’re right on the border and occupy part of Russia now. What’s holding them back?

Your articles noted some injuries and one death. That’s incredibly tame for a modern war. I don’t think that Ukraine is trying to kill civilians. But when you send up a swarm, some are going to get shot down or malfunction.

It was not a realistic answer.

And again what is good for the goose is good for the gander.

Why cant you comprehend that fact?

Air superiority over Ukraine LoL.

Taking a while now with little to no results mealy down to the likes of MANPADS.

I dont see how attack via ICBM could acheave anything of the sorts.

If you detonate a EMP pulse up there you're taking out your own forces as well.

Because they are right next door.

And if you start hitting ground targets via nukes thats world war 3.

There is no logical reason to launch a nuclear attack tactical or otherwise on the part of Russia.

Aside from toys out the pram they cant handle what they choose to dish out mentality.

Good luck with that.

Yes. Why might they "waste" such crucial weapons on civilian targets?

In our Parliament today the Defence Minister refused to be drawn on on limitations on the use of Storm Shadows for operational security reasons.

I'd be surprised if there are no restrictions on the use of these and that probably goes for other countries supplying long range weapons.

It wouldn't be the first time in world history, that a nuclear power dropping just one or two nukes on a non-nuclear power... immediately ended a long and costly war.

There have been a lot of restrictions on western weapons for the whole time they’ve been provided.

That’s why we’ve only really seen Ukraine use drones to go deep into Russia.

Honestly, I’d even be surprised if western missiles hit Russian oil sites. While it has a tactical significance, I still think the west would leave that off the table.

Russia has been using Iranian drones to specifically target Ukrainian power infrastructure before winter, which hasn’t been the first time. That’s clearly a move against the population as a whole.

Back then the US was the only nuclear power.

And if Russia did that the repercussions would likely be severe.

If not, it would set a very dangerous precedent.

It's naïve to think that the Russian military hasn't already gamed this out.
One quickly and strategically detonated battlefield nuke would likely cause Ukraine to surrender immediately.

After that...what will the rest of the free world do?
The ball would then be in their court.

"A reasonable strategy would be gaining air superiority over the Ukraine."

That would be a key strategy for any War.

But in this one, Russia has simply been unable to do that.

But then the domino effect would likely follow.

What might the rest of the free World do? I don't know.

But I think doing nothing is likely not an option.

Russia would be hated and sanctioned...(been there, done that)...and, once again, feared on the world stage.

But...they'd still have Ukraine.
