After criticizing the Biden administration’s immigration policies, Bianco added that only “one candidate” for president will keep the public safe and only one who will protect the U.S. Constitution.
“That candidate is Donald J. Trump,” Bianco said to cheers.
Bianco then led the crowd in the Pledge of Allegiance. Former Miss California Leah Cecil led the crowd with a rendition of The National Anthem, followed by “USA!” chants.

You may be right.
I'm thinking it's looking like a leftist sheriff trying to make it look like Republicans are trying to kill Trump too.
I wouldn't be surprised to learn the guy wasn't even trying to get in with weapons, maybe they noticed he had guns in his car?
It is Coachella...
Just my speculation.
It wasn't about whether he had a good chance of winning the election. Where did you read that in my post?
My statement was: The US media have blood on their hands
The murderer is to blame, but there are laws like - perhaps different in your country - 'incitement to murder' for a reason.
The First Amendment to the United States Constitution guarantees free speech, and the degree to which incitement is protected speech is determined by the imminent lawless action test introduced by the 1969 Supreme Court decision in the case Brandenburg v. Ohio. The court ruled that incitement of events in the indefinite future was protected, but encouragement of "imminent" illegal acts was not protected. This "view reflects longstanding law and is shared by the Federalist Society, the American Civil Liberties Union, the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression."

I see the US media there. It's very interesting that you don't see it that way.

In a since-deleted post on X, captured via screenshot from another user, one attendee posting from the rally location said that there were "apparently 60 [buses] employed for this event." They added that "all buses have been called off" and CHP (California Highway Patrol) had informed bus drivers to stop picking up attendees. Newsweek contacted the CHP, the Coachella mayor and the Coachella sheriff's office on Monday via email outside of working hours for comment.
A friend who worked with Miller for their advocacy group America Happens also claimed Miller had no intent to kill the former president. “There isn't a universe his intention was to kill Trump, he's worked too hard in this movement to expose the Deep State and all the people against him,” wrote Mindy Robinson in the post on X. “As a pro-2A advocate, ask me if I give a s— about a good guy with a gun in an unsafe s—hole like California. It doesn't even make sense why his passes would be fake either when we're both usually invited as media to these things.”

Stay away from the sketchy story around “Vem Miller” (DOB 10-26-74), and everything that surrounds the story of the possible 3rd assassination attempt. Everything about this story is sketchy in the extreme, including his defenses.
Multiple, at least 3, passports. Multiple, at least 3, ids. Fake tags on vehicle. Unregistered vehicle. Firearms (shotgun and handgun). Claimed fake credentials for Trump rally. A personal and familial connection to USA, Armenia, Great Britian (UK) and Canada. Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco outlines the commonsense approach to viewing people as “sketchy.”
