What is wrong with you? That’s a lot of money, taxpayer dollars at that. Ya know, money that should be being used here to solve America’s problems, not being wasted on a money laundering scheme in disguise of some umwinnable war, in some other country.

So we approve another huge aid package to Ukraine and according to Trump Zelenskyy wants to meet with him at Trump Tower.
All I have to say is be careful there Teflon Don, no doubt if this occurs the Left will squeal like little pigs.
Has anybody else heard this, and what does our UK and European contingent think

BREAKING: Trump just announced that Zelenskyy has requested to meet with him tomorrow at Trump Tower, and he has accepted the meeting to talk about negotiating the END of the war between Ukraine and Russia
Even Zelenskyy knows Trump's return is imminent. Other world leaders are also scrambling to set up meetings with Trump.
The aid package wasn't "huge". It was 7.9 $Billion. That's about 0.03% of our GDP. Approximately the same amount we spend on potato chips per year.
Does everyone know what they're getting the Zelensky's for Christmas? They're on your list. I think a nice house warming gift for the residence we bought them in Tuscany should do!

Not sure if I've understood you correctly here.
Are you saying that if Trump meets Zelensky his life could be in danger?
Who from, Zelensky or Putin?
That would be remarkably reckless and surely result in a massive response from the US.....wouldn't it?
I was thinking that Trump was putting Zelinski's life at risk, by announcing the time and place of their meeting. I know that Trump Tower has been fortified by the Secret Service, but if I was Zelinski's security team, I wouldn't trust them. I'd send a Zelinski body double to meet with Trump. I doubt Trump wuold know the difference.

And Putin loves his incompetence as a military leader.

What? Not sure what my breakfast cereal has to do with anything...🙄 But;
Under the watchful eye of Trump's security and the Secret Service, there have been 2 assassination attempts.

It isn't cash wired to Zelenky's bank account
It's the book value of the weapons, munitions and equipment sent.
Most of which would have been decommissioned, at great cost.
Do you really think you are just sending all that in dollars?
The United States has thus far contributed $19.25 billion in budget support to enable the Government of Ukraine to pay salaries of first responders and government officials, meet pension obligations, and operate hospitals. The United States and the OECD continue to further deepen and strengthen our cooperation with Ukraine to support its recovery.

The new aid will help Ukraine pay government salaries, pensions and fund social programs necessary to avoid a worsening of the humanitarian crisis caused by Russia's invasion of its southwestern neighbor.
WASHINGTON — Since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine started in February, talks of support for Kyiv have largely centered around weapons and ammunition. But Washington is also sending large amounts of money to fund Ukrainian government operations, U.S. officials said this week, as U.S. and European officials affirmed support for Ukraine’s reconstruction, following the conclusion of the recent Lugano Conference. The United States is “proud to be the largest single country donor to Ukraine” and will be delivering “billions more of assistance” in the coming months, announced Karen Donfried, assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs, at an event in Washington on Thursday. Those sums include “billions in needed direct budget assistance,” she said.

Yes, and most of it is in the value of stuff sent.
I know you didn't say all of it, but plenty of folk seem to think it's all in cash.
