Israel thinks it is OK to kill 200-300 innocents on that airplane.

It's no worse than Hezbollah hiding behind women and children, killing, kidnapping and torturing civilians and then sending out a video of their murder so their family can see them die in fear and pain.

Hezbollah should have stood down, instead, they doubled down and increased their attacks.

I don't think Israel identifies as a terrorist outfit, does it ?

And NO, if they have hundreds of booby trapped pagers, Israel does NOT know exactly what is around them when they blow up.

This is INDISCRIMINATE KILLING, A.K.A Terrorism.

If Israel had a spotter team to remotely detonate a bomb when the terrorist target is identified/located, that might be different.

Just randomly detonating simultaneously hundreds of bombs with no idea of what sourrounds them definitely harms uninvolved civilians and is TERRORISM.

Do not justify or defend TERRORISM, no matter who does it.
It is NEVER justifiable.

Hezbollah leaders go on TV and the internet to vow revenge.

They should have been the first ones killed... Not little fighters and innocent people standing around them.

In defending itself, no legitimate nation state can use terrorist tactics against terrorism.
The FBI does not
MI-5 does not
CSIS does not
ASIO does not
NZSIS does not.
Direction Générale de la Sécurité Intérieure does not (and this, despite France having SEVERE terrorism problems with Islamists).

The FBI cannot decide to use the exact same tactics as Israel in Minnesota and kill untold "collateral damage" civilians just to target a group of Somali terrorists.
