Taylor Swift endorses Kamala Harris after presidential debate

Breaking news post debate Taylor Swift has endorsed Kamala. I personally think it's a bad idea for a celeb to turn her back on half her fan base (or close too) it's better for celebs to keep quiet that's my opinion.

Pop superstar Taylor Swift endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris' presidential candidacy on Tuesday night after the high-stakes debate with former President Donald Trump.

"I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election," Swift said in a post on Instagram

"I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos. I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades."

"I’ve done my research, and I’ve made my choice," the Grammy-winning artist added. "Your research is all yours to do, and the choice is yours to make. I also want to say, especially to first time voters: Remember that in order to vote, you have to be registered! I also find it’s much easier to vote early. I find it hard to believe that half her fan base will turn on her because of this. I could be wrong though. I bet that her friendship with Brittany Mahomes suffers though.

Taylor shouldn't have endorsed either candidate. Especially since a lot of conservative people are her fans....it is going to hurt her. I thought she was smarter than that but I guess she is not as intelligent as i thought she was.

I guess when your already a billionaire you can throw away 50% of your customers. It’s her life, career, and right to vote but I agree, it seems awfully dumb.

Supposebly her and Brittany weren't even sitting in the same private box last game. If I'm wrong on that let me know but that's why I heard

The thing is people will just follow whatever she says which is a shame because 99% of the big issues don't mean squat to her. She's a billionaire so grocery prices, jobs and the economy don't mean anything to her. She lives in a manion with lots of security and a big wall around it so everyday crime rates don't mean anything to her, she's always safe. She has armed body guards and police escorts if she has to move around in public anywhere so again crime rates don't mean anything to her.

The border being open and illegals and homeless don't mean anything to her because they will never be living in her neighborhood or being allowed anywhere near her house. The fentanyl problem doesn't mean anything to her because it won't be in her neighborhood that the needles and homeless will be laying around everywhere. She will never have to walk through a drug area and see the abuse and crime.

These rich celebrity endorsements are a joke because the issues that are facing the common American don't ever effect someone like Taylor Swift.

I read it as well. It could be interesting to see how these two women adjust to the politicization of their relationship. Will they pull apart or could they maybe make up and demonstrate how friendship should transcend political differences. We gotta know that the pop media will be on this like whipped cream on banana pie.

I was reading an article about something a couple weeks ago and it said the common American home doesn't have a DVD or CD in the house anymore. I was shocked to hear that. I personally still like having a hard copy CD if it's an album or artist I really like

Yeah. I've gotten rid of cd players and dvd players. Especially since I can use the PS4 to play dvd's. Everything is now streaming.

Sadly in the USA it does seem to matter. But thankfully it is getting less and less. I mean if you think about it, Kamala already had the "swifty" vote. Pretty much all unmarried younger females that are a single issue voting block. They love thinking about their "right" to murder children when they are unfortunate enough to end up in their womb. Kamala is sort of a pin up for that crowd. An old "boss girl" with no children of her own.
