Harris might enjoy a little "bump" in the polls simply because she was a better debater than Joe, but Trump's lead in the Electoral College will continue to slowly grow.

I was watching Tim Pool's live debate coverage and he pointed out how Trump kept getting fact checked on every single thing and they let Kamala slide on almost everything. I had to agree with him that it was an essentially three against one debate.

I think it is exactly this reason why Trump, who is a terrible debtor, always punches above his weight at these things.

No one but the most radical partisans want to watch as someone is ganged up on by the moderators. Even if they may not particularly like the person.

The brief for Harris is quite simple - attack Trump and wind him up.
There is no way Trump will be able to keep his cool.

Does ANYONE think Trump will be able to respond to personal attacks with something like ' These personal attacks are just made up campaign talking points because the Democrats have nothing to offer the American people except open borders, high taxes and high inflation, plus ongoing wars. Their whole campaign is about me precisely because their record is so awful'.

It's not possible to continue to support a guy who is so easily manipulated.

I used to support him, but how can anyone defend the fact that he simply can't put his ego and thin skin to one side and as such is walking the world into wokeness and oppression by losing to a candidate as bad as Harris?
I don't think you realise just how bad this is going to be not just for America but the world.

That's not true.
ABC were a disgrace TBH.
However, this was a known and it can not be used as an excuse for Trump.
More fool him for thinking he was so smart he could handle a debate that was set up to tip the scales.
It was basically moderated by the DNC.
