UK is dystopian

The UK is getting scary. Every time I turn around I hear about how speech there is being silenced.

In America this kind of thing is hailed as virtuous by the left and college professors. The left loves a protest. Hell, they'll prolly pay you to protest.

This is truly disturbing and the US isn't far behind. The same lefties in America that encourage kids to protest are the same people that would like to lock you up for saying things they don't like.

I think free speech is probably the single most important right for a healthy society. Corruption, oppression, and flat out evil can't be stopped if you are not allowed to even talk about it in the first place.

“Today was a terror attack by a Muslim…heads must roll.”

The attacker wasn't a muslim, he was Christian, but 3 years was way to much. He should have got a computer or social media ban and a suspended sentence.

I disagree, he deserved to be puinished for spreading boll*cks, the attacker was a Christian born in Cardiff from Rwandan parents.
All people like him have done is give the general puplic more reason to disagree with anyone who legitamately wants to talk about immigration and any issues it brings into communities.

There were far bigger protests aginst the far-right because of the rioting, the idiots have done nothing but damage the image of someone being "English" who have issues with immigration.

I lived in Birmingham (a few streets down) during the early 80s Handsworth riots and all it did was bulster the police for stopping and searching anyone during the time and the first few years that followed.

So do you approve of free speech being what a man says and not what he does? You seem to say yes with limits. Well freedom to say hateful words is part of the package and I see folks willing to be hateful while claiming non progressives are the problem. Speech has consequencies and all speech isn't free (thats just something idiots believe). This isn't a left vs right thing either. The internets mass reach and new abilty to alter whats being posted has changed how speech and images are percieved.

Seems to me that when one of these crazy mass stabbings/killings happens it’s usually terrorism done by immigrants.
Mr O’Rourke was mistaken about the religion.
That’s an easy mistake to make.
How many others made that same mistake in this instance?
I’m guessing very very many.

The powers that be have made Muslims a protected class and are deemed untouchable.
Immigrants are also off limits.

I wouldn't say it's usually terrorism done by migrants, Knife crime in the UK is usually associated with youth 'gang' crime, but Muslims and migrants make better click bait to scare the masses.

Is mass immigration out of control because of the past EU laws, yes, but now we need an honest government to take control.
