Based on recent comments from the woman who took part in the Coup against U.S. President Joe Biden, new Presidential candidate VP Kamala Harris is rekindling her 2019 promise to abolish private health insurance and replace it with healthcare run by the Federal Government... (Kamala ran for President in 2019, and was rejected by a staggering 98% of Democrat voters.)..

Virtually all progressives want a government-run, single-payer health care system. That includes Harris.

She was quick to support Sen. Bernie Sanders’ (I-Vt.) “Medicare for All” bill when she was in the Senate, though that title is misleading.

The bill does not put everyone in the federal Medicare program. Rather, the government takes over the health care system, raising taxes to pay for it.

You will not be able to keep your employer-provided health insurance nor opt out of the government system. “Kamalacare” would likely be very similar.

Now would be a good time to recall humorist P.J. O’Rourke’s famous observation, “If you think health care is expensive now, wait until you see what it costs when it’s free.”

Before you decide on whether KamalaCare is a good idea, look at the the two countries most often pointed to as models for U.S. reform: England and Canada (hyperlinked.. See below).

CANADA STATUS: www.reuters.com...

Why does Harris-Walz want to get rid of the 3 systems we have now... 1.) Private and 2.) Government-run and 3.) Government-supported healthcare in the United States? Their system would take away our FREEDOM TO CHOOSE.

Didn't they learn from our rebellion against electric automobiles, and Covid-19 vaccinations, that Americans don't like things forced upon us?

She’ll need to when she gives amnesty to every illegal in the country, which is going to be one of her first orders of business and she’ll want the taxpayers to pay for it. I can’t stand the commie traitor. She would love to see this country flushed down the crapper 🚽

Misleading statement. You mean the majority of people that answered a particular poll, right?

Step outside your bubble mate.

The Majority of American Socialist Party does not mean the Majority of the Country.

. Yet nearly as many, 53%, prefer that the U.S. healthcare system be based on private insurance rather than run by the government. These findings are in line with recent attitudes about the government’s involvement in the healthcare system, which have been relatively steady since 2015.

53% do NOT want it. Still a voting issue then.

You do realize however that Kamala can't just do this
with an executive order. It has to go through Congress.

Some states have rejected Obamacare.
Most have tweaked it.

It is a disaster, what would be worse?
Letting the government control it, what a joke!

A healthcare system based on private insurance is not mutually exclusive from a universal healthcare system.

I've long said our healthcare system could easily transfer into one based on the Dutch model.

is that a fact? It seems if that really was the case, there would be more talk about it, rather than just talk about how things went to hell with Obamacare. But do be a lamb and give us a link to that data.

Increasing share of Americans favor a single government program to provide health care coverage

Majority in U.S. Still Say Gov't Should Ensure Healthcare

Those are from 2020 and 2023. The 2023 results are from 1,020 people. or am I wrong? 441 were in favor of a government run healthcare system. That is not the majority of the country.

Universal healthcare is a complete and utter failure. Just ask Canada or any vet about government provided healthcare. Our healthcare will go to # if the government’s in charge of it. Does anyone know of one single thing that the government is in control of that isn’t a clown show and mismanaged?

And pew research is a joke, not the least bit credible in any sense of the word.

And if you asked people in France, Japan, South Korea, the Netherlands, or numerous other nations with universal healthcare whether they'd have their system or ours, what do you think they would say?

Kamala-Walz want to convert the country into a hybrid THING. Somewhere in between the Soviet Union and Sweden.

And how is that WHORE proposing to do that ?

She will buy out ALL private insurers ?
Or simply confiscate their businesses/clientele with no compensation.

And every shareholder and/or mutual fund with Humana or other insurer will just have to take the loss. F*ck retirees and anybody that SAVED for a lifetime in order to fund their retirement.

Support the ghetto garbage instead.
Haiti, here we come....

Kamala should stick to BJs.
That's all she really knows.

Most Americans want CHOICE, like they want with the freedom to murder, or not murder babies, that aren't yet born.

Britain’s NHS was once idolized. Now its worst-ever crisis is fueling a boom in private health care

My Mom, who is 82, is on Medicare and they denied cataract surgery. Said " she didn't really need it". Some government flunky decided, without a medical degree or even seeing her, that it was un necessary.

I on the other hand, have private insurance and can go to the Doctor for a runny nose of I want and they cover it.

Socialized medicine doesn't work. Right now the American taxpayer is footing the bill for millions of illegals who are flooding hospital ERs, so with people already paying over $11,00 per year to maintain their way of life, you want to pay more for a government run healthcare system.

Ask Canada or the UK if they're happy with how it's turned out.
