For perspective on polls here are the last polls before the 2016 elections, polls are an indicator but they aren't the end all be all, and the left generally responds better to polling calls than the right.

I also believe as has been speculated the left was due a bump because of how abysmal the Biden campaign was, besides was there any doubt the country is basically split we have been this way since 2016.

Nothing wrong with it either the country needs to embrace how we are in a 2 party system, Ive got friends who are Democrats and friends who are Republicans and plenty of Independents and undecided.
